Here is a roundup of some of the other attendees at the premiere of ‘Sicario’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France.
Daria Strokous: Now this is what you call a princess dress. The model swept the red carpet in a heavenly Luisa Beccaria lavender ruffled tulle gown. I am thankful an obnoxious necklace didn’t ruin the look.
Doutzen Kroes: Jennifer Lawrence wore a better version of this Dior dress to the same festival 2 years ago, and it’s been done to death since then. This is so disappointing from the usually on-form Doutzen.
Nieves Alvarez made her first appearance at Cannes Film Festival this evening for the ‘Sicario’ Premiere on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France.
Nipplegate aside, the Spanish beauty looked fabulous wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture ombre gown that screamed glamour. This is why her presence is always welcome at this festival.
Like Petra, Nievez is one of the few wearing a summery gown at this event; I hope more stars embrace the current season moving forward.
I love the addition of the nude Christian Louboutin studded clutch. The only thing I would change is the red nails for nude.
I’ve waited a long time to see this gown, so you’ll get no complaints from me tonight.

Natalie Portman made her fourth appearance at Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of ‘Sicario’ on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France – giving some of the L’Oreal girls a run for their money.
The actress wore a gown from Lanvin’s Fall 2015 collection.
My first reaction was that the dress falls kinda flat, but then Natalie has never been one for bells or whistles, so I guess this dress stays firmly in her no-fuss lane. Plus, the gorgeous jade-green hue saves the look from feeling boring.
However, I’m sure many will still feel it’s dull.
Emily Blunt took her place on the red carpet tonight as the star of ‘Sicario’ for the film’s premiere during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France.
It may not be as colourful as I expected, but when it came to being drop-dead gorgeous and ultra glamorous, she nailed it.
Despite Stella McCartney’s work often coming in for some criticism by some of you, the British designer can rustle up a stunning gown – and this is one of them.
Dazzling and fit to perfection to highlight Emily’s gorgeous figure, I am very much in awe.
The admiration continues to her emerald Anna Hu Haute Joaillerie earrings, which were all the pop of colour this look needed.
Araya A. Hargate attended the premiere of ‘Sicario’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France.
Upon seeing the Thai actress glide down the red carpet like a beautiful swan I said to myself, ‘This is more like it.’
Not slit to the thigh, not bedazzled, not a bedsheet pretending to be a gown, this Ashi Studio Spring 2015 Couture gown, with its delicate embroidery and feather-festooned hemline, is what I have been craving at Cannes.
Drama, glamour and a touch of originality.
This should rank in my top 10 for this festival.
