Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is the final menswear roundup of the week.

David Oyelowo: Fresh from his Best Actor win at the NAACP Image Awards, David attended the ‘Selma’ photocall during the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival on Tuesday (February 10) in Berlin, Germany. Continuing to show plenty of flair, his dark look was lifted by his sharp printed blazer and Louis Leeman metal-toe loafers.

Jamie Dornan: The actor went the more classic route attending the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ London premiere with co-star Dakota Johnson. The Irish actor wore an Alexander McQueen navy suit with his own touch of flare added via a polka skull tie.

Dakota Johnson In Christian Dior – ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Dakota Johnson In Christian Dior - 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Dakota Johnson attended the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ premiere during the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival held at Zoo Palast on Wednesday (February 11) in Berlin, Germany.

So far Dakota has worn only black and white during this promo tour and I expect that to continue, so I wasn’t surprised by her black Dior offering for this premiere.

Her no-fuss style saw her select this long-sleeve deep plunging dress with only a cascade of buttons providing any detail.

Sexy and sleek, the look was amped up with a deep rouge lip and sexy bed hair.

Are you already bored by this promo tour or is her style seemingly perfectly in tune with the movie?

For me, I will go with the latter – for now.

Charlotte Gainsbourg In Louis Vuitton – ‘Every Thing Will Be Fine’ Berlin Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Charlotte Gainsbourg In Louis Vuitton - 'Every Thing Will Be Fine' Berlin Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Charlotte Gainsbourg made an appearance at the Berlinale International Film Festival for the photocall and premiere of her latest movie, ‘Every Thing Will Be Fine’, on Tuesday (February 10) in Berlin, Germany.

Photocall: While this Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2015 look is a) from the latest collection and b) quintessentially Charlotte, I feel like I’ve seen her in this look at least twice before. I guess that is the possible downside of being a muse.

Premiere: For the premiere there was no such feeling of déjà vu. Even though the hair and non-makeup stayed the same, there was an instant shot of glamour given to the French actress, who wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown that was simple in its V-neck design yet enriched with an embellished bodice. Here, Charlotte is the very epitome of the brand under Nicolas Ghesquière: cool and effortless with a hint of sex appeal. With the lack of gowns showcased on the LV runways and look books, these moments are all the more special.

Are Charlotte Gainsbourg and Louis Vuitton a perfect union, or do both parties need to do something new?

Kiernan Shipka In Delpozo – ‘One and Two’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Kiernan Shipka In Delpozo - 'One and Two' Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Kiernan Shipka and co-star Timothée Chalamet attended the premiere of their latest movie ‘One and Two’ during the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival at held the Berlinale Palace on Wednesday (February 10) in Berlin, Germany.

Delightful in every possible way, the ‘Mad Men’ actress wore a jungle-print strapless Delpozo Spring 2015 dress featuring a slice of skin via a curved cut-out.

This mild reveal for me adds to the overall playful vibe of the look, while some might find the 15-year-old star too young for this detail.

Kiernan is no stranger to these styles of fit-and-flare dresses, so the cut-out gives her look a new dimension.

For someone who always opts for colour often it’s a rarity to see her wearing black sandals, however, her Giuseppe Zanotti sandals work perfectly with the look.

Jennifer Meyer jewels and a simple ponytail provided the finishing touches.
