Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace – 2014 Bambi Awards

Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace - 2014 Bambi Awards

Uma Thurman attended the 2014 Bambi Awards on Thursday (November 13) in Berlin, Germany, where she collected the Best International Actress award.

She looked stunning, wearing a custom-made midnight-blue (but photographs black) Atelier Versace strapless dress styled with Manolo Blahnik sandals and Chopard jewels.

Uma can be frustratingly inconsistent for someone of her superstar stature, but this sees her back to her best – even though I want to remove the cuff.

If you are having a slight case of déjà vu, that’s probably due to the fact that Angelina Jolie wore a not too dissimilar Atelier Versace look in velvet during her ‘Maleficent’ promo tour.

Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark In Jesper Høvring – 2014 Bambi Awards

Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark In Jesper Høvring - 2014 Bambi Awards

Following Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s lacklustre showing on the red carpet last night (November 13), I was delighted to see Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark attend the 2014 Bambi Awards in Berlin, Germany with Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark.

I could only dream that the Duchess would dress like this for red carpet events.

Mary looked absolutely breathtaking wearing a sparkling blue peplum gown with a draped shoulder created by Danish designer Jesper Høvring.

Now this is what a princess should look like: chic, radiant, awe-inspiring and, more importantly, oozing a timeless elegance.

Her styling couldn’t have been more perfect, with a satin blue clutch and aquamarine girandole earrings, rounding out the look with an elegant chignon and pretty pink lips.

Miley Cyrus In The Blonds – Bambi Awards 2013

Miley Cyrus In The Blonds – Bambi Awards 2013

Following her rather demure and well-covered red carpet look, Miley Cyrus was glowing on stage for her performance at the Bambi Awards 2013 held in Germany yesterday evening.

The singer wore a neon-yellow The Blonds crop top and high-waisted shorts from the Spring 2014 collection, which she accented with green Perspex scale-like accents and a metallic trim.

As far as stage outfits go, this is her best one in recent times.

It’s sexy without being too revealing and edgy, which is perfectly in tune with her current persona.

Her hair was pretty much the same from the red carpet, but she swapped out the dark gothic lip for a neutral shade.

Green creepers and a selection of gold jewels completed her look.

Miley also received the Bambi Award for International Pop.

Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham – Bambi Awards 2013

Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham - Bambi Awards 2013

Following her ‘Special Contribution to British Fashion’ honour at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards last week, Victoria Beckham attended the Bambi Awards 2013 held at the Stage Theater in Berlin, Germany, where the 39-year-old designer was honoured once again with a Bambi Award in the fashion category.

As you know, I love Victoria Beckham, but I feel slightly disappointed by the déjà vu between this and the last event.

For both events she wore black floor-length gowns, with the same hair and makeup.

The only difference is the breathtaking emerald-stone Chopard jewels on this occasion.

Having seen her commercial gowns, there is a variety of colours I wish she had considered.

Black is very much her staple, but I hope to see some colour next time out.

Miley Cyrus In Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier – Bambi Awards 2013

Miley Cyrus In Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier - Bambi Awards 2013Miley Cyrus managed to shock again, this time at the 2013 Bambi Awards, held Thursday night at the Stage Theatre in Berlin, Germany—except this time, it may be a good surprise for those who are fatigued with her public displays of skin.

The ‘Wrecking Ball’ songstress, who was honored in the category of International Pop, was also completely covered up from head to toe in a black, vintage Jean Paul Gaultier gown from the ’90s, paired with Fendi heels.

With an exaggerated, collar neckline and exploded, circular sleeve-cuffs, this floor-length creation fused all-out glamour with a sci-fi edge, whilst showing us the oft-missed, sophisticated side of Miss Cyrus.

To go with the gown, she painted on a matte oxblood lip and swept back her short blonde quiff.

Since twerking wasn’t an option, she amped up the funk factor via her accessories, namely Lorraine Schwartz jewels, plus an extremely oversized pearl-and-gold Chanel Spring 2014 choker necklace. It was not exactly a necessary piece, given the neckline of the gown. But why nitpick at such as rare sartorial moment as this.
