Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Felicity Jones has become the darling of the fashion world in such a short space in time.

She looked stunning once again on the red carpet for the BAFTA Los Angeles 2011 Britannia Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last night.

The British actress wore a Moschino Resort 2012 gown.

Her black strapless tulle gown has a lightly embellished bodice and a full skirt.

I love everything about this look; it’s classic and feminine, and I love that she kept the look so simple with minimal jewelry and a black clutch.

Hailee Steinfeld has a real contender to challenge her for Best Newcomer of the Year.

Andrea Riseborough was one of the many Brits abroad attending the BAFTA Los Angeles 2011 Britannia Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last night.

She wore a Marchesa Spring 2012 dress.

My first thought was that Andrea’s version of this dress was a bridal dress, but it doesn’t appear on the bridal page of Marchesa’s site.

Therefore it’s just a cleaner, simpler modified version of the runway dress which we’ve seen on Michelle Monaghan.

The dress is more ethereal without the embroidered details and the sheer yoke. Andrea most definitely made the better choice.

She solidifies her status as a Hollywood starlet by wearing Brian Atwood pumps in metallic silver.

Yet another gorgeous, chic updo, diamond studded earrings, a matching bracelet and a grey snakeskin clutch complete her look.

My girl crush grows with every red carpet appearance. She’s so graceful.

The first thing I said when I saw Hailee Steinfeld at the BAFTA Los Angeles 17th Annual Awards Season Tea Party was, “thank god she wore the modified version.”

The young actress attended this event wearing a Marc Jacobs scalloped organza dress.

Her cocoa and white scalloped organza dress has a full tiered skirt and a polka-dot bodice.

The model’s version would’ve been too sexy for someone as young as Hailee.

I’m really beginning to love her young feminine style, so I’ll pass on criticizing her on her footwear choice on this occasion.

The BAFTA Los Angeles 17th Annual Awards Season Tea Party took place in LA last night.

“Desperate Housewives” star Vanessa Williams took to the red carpet wearing a Dries van Noten ‘Darby’ dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

Her particular dress didn’t take the runway, but you can tell its’ Dries by the distinctive floral print.

The multi-coloured brush stroke print asymmetrical neckline dress with a cascading frill going down the back, was paired with the most unfortunate black and grey striped Sergio Rossi heels.

Dakota Fanning went for a simple effortless look at the 2010 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards last night.

The young actress wore a romantic Valentino Fall 2010 Couture gown which surprisingly doesn’t overwhelm her.

Her blush strapless gown isn’t grand or over the top, it’s very appropriate for a young star like Dakota who doesn’t want to got the Miley Cyrus route on the red carpet.

My only problem with this look is her hair as it looks like she just rolled out of bed.

Dakota never really does much with her hair, so I think a new style is long overdue.

At this point I would get over excited about a ponytail.
