Carmen Ejogo In Emanuel Ungaro – 2017 BAFTAs

Carmen Ejogo attended the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

The English actress gave us a masterclass at how to look amazing on the red carpet. This Emanuel Ungaro Resort 2017 dress ticked all the right boxes: gorgeous colours, flattering shape, feminine ruffles and a fit like a glove.

The label have dressed it down on the model, with the green zebra bomber jacket, but I much prefer Carmen’s super elegant take on it. What a perfect gown for this gorgeous actress!

Emma Stone In Chanel Couture – 2017 BAFTAs

The ‘La La Land’ actress-of-the-moment, Emma Stone, arrived at the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England, in this oh-so-gorgeous Chanel Couture spring 2017 look.

Nominated for Leading Actress, Emma had to choose something statement, which this is, however there were other looks in this collection that I would have put her in, given the chance. She’s obviously waiting for the Oscars to pull out all the stops.

Emma has a great figure, which this dress shows off perfectly, and the low neck line is amazing on her too. The delicate beading is definitely red carpet-worthy, as are those Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ shoes.

The one thing that people will either love or hate are the trousers. I personally think they are a fun addition, but do you think they are necessary or not?

Sophie Turner In Louis Vuitton – 2017 BAFTAs

If you were looking for sequins, Sophie Turner bought them to the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

The ‘Game Of Thrones’ star sparkled her way on to the red carpet in this black and silver ombre Louis Vuitton dress. And even though there was lots of leg and cleavage on show, it all worked.

The long sleeves are chic, and I love the hard edge that the belt brings, but I’m not sure about the red studs travelling up towards the bust. Having said that, the black and silver make for a welcome dose of dramatic shine – the perfect colour combination for the current weather situation.

Simple black strappy sandals, also by Louis Vuitton, finish Sophie’s look.

Viola Davis In Jenny Packham – 2017 BAFTAs

Viola Davis bought her take on colour blocking to the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

The ‘Fences’ star, who is nominated as Best Supporting Actress for the film, looked stunning in this custom Jenny Packham gown. The multi-toned blue stripes clash perfectly, with each other and the red carpet, and the chevrons at the waist really help to accentuate Viola’s curves.

The actress favours this strapless shape – it works well for her – and whereas usually we see her in one block colour, these stripes are a welcome change.

A chic Tyler Ellis clutch and Bvlgari jewels finish off Viola’s look perfectly.

Jessica Brown Findlay In Bottega Veneta – 2017 BAFTAs

Jessica Brown Findlay also attended the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

The English actress stunned in this orange Bottega Veneta spring 2017 gown, that had a slightly Victoria Beckham feel, circa spring 2012. The origami folds and tucks, and the ruching at the waist, draw your eye in and help contour her figure.

Jessica really suits this colour, and the long length makes her look much taller than her five foot four inches.

My only gripe with this look is that I wish she would have kept the black waist belt – it adds more shape, and helps break up the extreme pop of colour this dress offers.

Anya Taylor-Joy In Gucci – 2017 BAFTAs

You can always rely on ‘Split’ actress Anya Taylor-Joy to make a statement on the red carpet, like here, at the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

This Gucci gown will definitely end up on best and worst dressed lists, it’s one of those polarising pieces, but personally… I love it!

The powder blue and coral work perfectly together, and the romantic, pleated layers and rounded sleeves bring a visually brilliant shape to this red carpet. And then you have Gucci’s now signature animal embroidery and delicate beading to the bust and neck line.

There’s always one star to make the ultimate statement, and I’m so glad it was Anya here.
