Isabelle Huppert In Armani Privé – 2018 BAFTAs

Isabelle Huppert oozed glamour at the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England. She joined Andrea RiseboroughNatalie Dormer and Margot Robbie.

Looking every inch a screen siren, she wore an all-black Armani Privé Fall 2017 Couture ensemble.

It was a decadent combination with the sequins and feathers, but the French actress carried it off with a graceful elegance.

On a different person, it could have been too much, but on her it is supremely chic.

Andrea Riseborough In Elie Saab Couture – 2018 BAFTAs

Andrea Riseborough made quite the entrance at the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) in London, England, joining Natalie Dormer, Margot Robbie and Naomie Harris.

The actress, who is presenting this evening, went back to the archives for a dress that supported the Time’s Up movement. She was outfitted in an Elie Saab Fall 2016 Couture gown.

The designer is known for his highly embellished, ethereal gowns, but this one had a moodier sentiment from the satin skirt and the dark colour palette.

The sheer top being accented with purple and ivory embroidery had a romantic mystique that was balanced by the drama of the sweeping skirt.

It’s regal yet seductive, so the only thing throwing me off slightly is the piece-y, wet-look hair.

Natalie Dormer In Alberta Ferretti – 2018 BAFTAs

Following the pre-party, Natalie Dormer graced the 2018 BAFTAs in London this evening (February 18).

You’ll be surprised to learn that supplying so many black dresses for events like this and the Golden Globes is no mean feat, so Natalie turned to Alberta Ferretti to create a gown especially for the occasion.

The design is fairly simple, so I love how the look is elevated with a sheer chiffon train for a dramatic and timelessly glamorous finish.

I’m going back and forth on the tasseled earrings.

Should she have lost the earrings or worn her hair up?

Margot Robbie In Givenchy Couture – 2018 BAFTAs

Margot Robbie exuded dark glamour at the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) in London, England, joining Kristin Scott Thomas, Lily James and Greta Gerwig.

After a whimsical turn in Chanel, the ‘I, Tonya’ star showed support for the Time’s Up movement in a Givenchy Spring 2018 Couture gown.

The style had a moody fairy tale quality with the black lace overlay extending from the neck over the fitted top and embellished skirt.

It was a unique take on layering and those who are against sheer skirts will hopefully find favour with this fresh approach.

My only wish is that she had pinned her hair up so we could get a clearer idea of the bow at the back of the neck.

Harry Winston jewels and a Roger Vivier clutch brought more sparkle.

Kristin Scott Thomas In Christian Dior Couture – 2018 BAFTAs

Ever the regal lady, Kristin Scott Thomas stepped out at the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) in London, England, alongside Naomie Harris, Haley Bennett and Angelina Jolie.

The star, who is nominated in the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category for her work in ‘Darkest Hour,’ was a vision in a Christian Dior Spring 2018 Couture ensemble.

The flowing style demonstrated the impact of a pared-back colour palette, with the slashes of white creating a flattering lengthening effect.

The vertical stripes also drew our attention to her face.

She completed the look with a Time’s Up pin affixed to her chest.
