Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Delta Goodrem was joined by many more stars on the red carpet at the 2012 Logie Awards held at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium to celebrate Australia’s finest talents on television.

Megan Gale: It’s no surprise to see Megan wearing an Alex Perry gown as she’s worn the designer on several occasions. Her sultry black dress with sheer panels including a deep-v cut-out was teamed with a black-and-white Bulgari clutch. Had the clutch been nude and black, this look would’ve been a perfect 10. As presented, it’s a 9.5.

Kate Richie: My, hasn’t Sally Fletcher grown. Those who grew up watching ‘Home & Away’ after school won’t recognise Kate Ritchie. I can’t believe she’s now 33 years old and looking absolutely stunning wearing a Steven Khalil midnight-blue gown. She really brought the glamour to this event with her sequined dress and with an equally bedazzling clutch and jewels. Ladylike sexy chic red-carpet dressing at its best.

Asher Keddie: You can’t have a high-profile event in Australia without a look from the Australian Couture kings from J’Aton Couture. It would be like an Oscars without Elie Saab. This might be the Marmite dress of the group; you’ll either love it or hate it. I love it. It’s tantalizing sheer without being tacky, as it’s worn with much grace and sophistication. The attention to detail on the embroidery is magnificent and Asher let the dress do all the talking by not adding any accessories.

Delta Goodrem attended the 2012 Logie Awards held at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium to celebrate Australia’s finest talents on television.

The Australian singer, who is also one of the judges on the Australian version of ‘The Voice’, looked breathtaking on the red carpet wearing a Ralph Lauren Spring 2012 gown.

Her Grecian gown with a draped detail on the shoulders and a cut-away back was accented with a silver tasselled belt which complemented her silver glitter clutch.

With beautiful tumbling blonde locks, five – yes five – silver rings and a gorgeous smile, she bags herself a spot on the BDOTW list.

Brooklyn Decker was at Luna Park in Sydney, Australia with Rihanna earlier today, for the ‘Battleship’ premiere.

The blonde beauty wore a J. Mendel Fall 2012 gown, which was in total contrast to Rihanna’s more masculine look.

Brooklyn has had an amazing run during this promo tour, but it came to a screeching halt today.

There is nothing like about this gown. I didn’t like on the runway and I like it even less on Brooklyn with those modifications.

What bugs me the most are the gold lame sleeves. They seem totally out of whack with the rest of the gown.

Black sleeves, white sleeves or no sleeves at all would’ve been preferable.

The ‘Battleship’ promo tour continued today, with Rihanna taking to the red carpet in Australia for the Sydney premiere.

Her love affair with Stella McCartney continued as she wore a black jumpsuit from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

Rihanna’s sleek tuxedo look was teamed with black Manolo Blahnik sandals and red hot lips.

Gold jewels including hooped earrings and rings accessorized her look whilst a high bun with sweeping bangs provided the finishing touch.

This simple and elegant look with a touch of attitude is one of my favourite looks from Rihanna during this promo tour.

She could’ve easily overcooked it with too many accessories or another crazy hairdo, but she showed that she can keep it chic when she wants to.

Abbie Cornish returned home for the opening of the Marquee nightclub in Sydney, Australia, on Friday.

The actress wore an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012 dress.

Her green crochet dress with a nude underlay was spiced up with some violet satin strappy sandals.

She accessorized with matching purple Bvlgari jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch.

The purple love continued to her nail colour.

A wavy updo and glossy lips completed the look.

Ashlee Simpson also attended the opening of the Marquee nightclub in Sydney, Australia, on Friday.

The actress wore a Roberto Cavalli olive python-print dress.

Her halter dress was teamed with a jaguar-print Roberto Cavalli clutch and a selection of cocktail rings.

Whilst I like this dress, I picture someone with an edge like Coco Rocha or Naomi Campbell wearing this gown.

Ashlee gets lost in this dress for me and doesn’t really have much presence to pull it off.

She’s missing the ‘fierce’ factor.
