Joey Yung In Alexander McQueen – CCTV Spring Festival Broadcast

Joey Yung attended CCTV Spring Festival broadcast recording this week in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

The singer becomes the first person to wear an unmodified, non commercial look from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2010 collection.

Her red silk dress with embroidered gold sequins is exquisitely crafted with an elaborately pleated skirt.

She added black tights and the same engraved leather heels which this dress was presented with to make a striking sartorial statement.

Christian Dior Hong Kong Store Re-Opening

Many Asian celebrities attended the Christian Dior Grand Re-Opening in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong last week.

Maggie Cheung wore a bright red Christian Dior Fall 2008 skirt suit, which was very conservative in comparison to the other attendees.

Despite that the look suits her elegant chic style. If only she’d opted for better shoes.

Zhang Jingchu opted for a tight curly ‘do to go with her feather light Christian Dior Fall 2010 beige gown.

The styling is terrible. The hair should’ve been more sleek, the grey clutch doesn’t work and those lace peep-toe ankle boots just add to the sloppiness of this look.

Fan Bing Bing attended wearing the red version of a Christian Dior Resort 2011 gown which Natalie Portman wore in black last year.

I love the colour on Fan Bing Bing, but I’m not so keen on the satin clutch. I would’ve preferred something that wasn’t so matchy matchy.

Black would’ve worked better on this occasion.

Fan Bing Bing In Louis Vuitton – Louis Vuitton Store Opening

It’s always a delight to see Fan Bing Bing.

She recently attended the Louis Vuitton Store Opening in Zhengzhou City, China.

The Asian actress perfectly represents the brand looking divine wearing a Louis Vuitton Spring 2011 ensemble.

Her disco shimmering maroon and pink look was paired with an embellished cumberband and black Miu Miu patent pumps.

As always my girl is absolutely stunning.

It’s nice to see her hair down for a change, because I didn’t realise it was that long.

The shoes are a bit of a disappointment but everything else is perfection.

This picture shows just how sensational her lurex look is.

Im Soo Jung In Valentino – “Come Rain Come Shine” Press Conference

Im Soo Jung looked very chic at the press conference for her new movie “Come Rain Come Shine” in Seoul, South Korea last week.

She wore a Valentino Resort 2011 dress which has an interesting combination of a lace bodice and leather skirt with a black bow at the waist.

Im Soo Jung kept her make-up very simple and wore her hair back.

To complete her look she wore thick black tights and black patent lace up booties.

I really like the dress, especially the A-line skirt.

The tights aren’t so bad for a press conference, but I wish Im Soo Jung had breathed a bit more life into her look.

Tu Jingwei in Badgley Mischka – Cosmo Women Of The Year Awards

Ever since I saw Arlenis Sosa walk the runway in this breath-taking Badgley Mischka Fall 2010 gown, I have been desperate to see it on the red carpet.

Awards season was my final hope, but Tu Jingwei wore it this week on the red carpet to the Cosmo Women Of The Year Awards in Beijing.

The sparkling ombre ruby asymmetrical gown was worn with silver heels and diamond earrings.

What a beautiful way to do justice to one of my favourite looks of the Fall 2010 season.

BDOTW is going to be crowded.

Li Ai In Gucci – Cosmo Women Of The Year Awards

Chinese model and host Li Ai glided down the red carpet at the Cosmo Women Of The Year Awards which was held at the Park Hyatt Beijing, China this week.

The stunning model looks about 7ft tall in her slinky Gucci Pre-Fall 2010 long sleeve dress.

She totally works the backless gown which has a silver metal accent and sexy cut-out details.

Li Ai styled her look with a silver clutch and matching bracelets.

Definitely a BDOTW contender.
