Li Bingbing In Gucci – 15th Shanghai Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Li Bingbing wore another Gucci gown for the closing ceremony of the 15th Shanghai Film Festival held at Shanghai Grand Theatre in Shanghai, China, on Sunday.

The Asian beauty continues to shine in Gucci’s designs, proving that she is the perfect ambassador for the brand.

Her floral-print silk georgette halter-neck gown with a high ruffle neckline and velvet panel at the waist was styled with a black studded clutch and dazzling jewels.

Zhao Wei In Lanvin – Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Launch Party

To celebrate the launch of the Rendez-Vous ladies watch collection, Jaeger-LeCoultre hosted a party with Zhao Wei presenting the new collection in Shanghai, China, last week.

The Asian star wore a Lanvin gown, which Karlie Kloss wore in the American Vogue June 2012 sports issue.

Zhao’s red-and-black glazed floral brocade gown with structured pannier pleating at the hips was beautiful.

Unfortunately it was not really working for me on Zhao.

Maybe it’s her hand placement distorting the view, but the proportions seem off, resulting in the gown making her appear wider than she is.

I think someone taller would have done justice to this look.

Hopefully it will get a second run-out on the red carpet.

Du Juan In Alexander McQueen – ‘Deja Vu’ Screening

Supermodel Du Juan looked breathtaking as she stepped onto the red carpet for the ‘Deja Vu’ short film screening in Shanghai last week.

The multitalented model, who appears in the short film, wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 dress for the occasion.

Her gothic floor length fishtail frock of barnacle black lace was accented with a black leather cage-inspired corset.

Letting the gown do all the talking, Du opted for neutral makeup and a simple updo.

Li Bingbing In Gucci – 15th Shanghai Film Festival

Li Bingbing attended the opening ceremony of the 15th Shanghai Film Festival held at Shanghai Grand Theatre in Shanghai, China, last week.

The beautiful actress wore a Gucci Fall 2012 ensemble. This came as no surprise considering that she has worn Gucci pretty much exclusively since she was featured in a series of special ads for the Italian house’s line of bags, fine jewelry and timepieces earlier this year.

Commenting on the collaboration, Frida Giannini said: “Li Bing Bing has an effortless beauty and an innate sophistication. Working with her has been rewarding – she has the optimism and the talent that go hand-in-hand with individual style. She embodies the Gucci woman with her contemporary femininity.”

We wouldn’t argue with that last statement, considering how stunning she looked on the red carpet wearing a sheer blouse with an embellished neckline and a loose-fitting pair of black velvet pants.

The look was accessorized with a rope-style belt, Gucci fine jewels and simple ponytail.

As much as I love this look, I’m still longing for someone to wear one of those feathered pieces on the red carpet.

Pace Wu In Roberto Cavalli – Elle Men Anniversary Party

Pace Wu attended the Elle Men first anniversary party in Shanghai on Tuesday evening.

The model/actress looked radiant wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown.

To some, Cavalli is only known for his love of animal prints, but the man knows how to make a show-stopping gown.

Her nude halter gown with a small keyhole detail was embroidered with tonal and silver sequins plus a light spattering of feathers on the skirt.

Neutral makeup and a backcombed hairstyle completed her look.

You can buy Pace Wu’s Roberto Cavalli gown from Net-A-Porter International.
