Fan Bingbing In Celine – ‘Brilliant Chinese’ Shanghai Press Conference

Fan Bingbing In Celine - 'Brilliant Chinese' Shanghai Press Conference

Fan Bingbing attended a press conference for her TV show ‘Brilliant Chinese’ on Wednesday (February 11) in Shanghai, China.

With Celine devoid of any princess-style dresses, I was surprised Bingbing had the French brand on her radar, however, she did pick the girlish look from their Spring 2015 collection.

Decked out in an array of blooming colourful florals, the design features an interesting circular detail on the shoulder to set it apart from and give it an edge over the typical floral-design frocks we’ve seen her wear in the past.

I love the complementary blue nail polish, but once again words fail when it comes to the shoe choice. It will never end.

Carina Lau In Miu Miu – ‘The Man From Macao II’ Beijing Press Conference

Carina Lau In Miu Miu - 'The Man From Macao II' Beijing Press Conference

Carina Lau attended the ‘Man From Macau II’ press conference on Sunday (February 8) in Beijing, China.

After seeing so many black dresses on the red carpet at the Grammys, I’m delighted that subsequent looks like this are bursting with colour.

The Asian actress opted for a playful, vivid chiffon dress with a distinct swinging-60s kaleidoscopic print.

Occasionally Carina will opt for a dress considered too twee for her, but I don’t think that applies on this occasion as she possesses an air of sophistication.

Styled with heavenly blue Louboutin pumps, she rounded out the look with aqua drop earrings for yet another colour pop. Does the colour of the shoes and earrings take this into too-much-going-on territory?

Fan Bingbing In Valentino – Valentino Hong Kong Opening

Fan Bingbing In Valentino - Valentino Hong Kong Opening

Fan Bingbing attended the opening of a new Valentino store in Hong Kong, China, on Thursday (February 5).

The actress wore a Valentino Spring 2015 ivory tulle gown rendered with gold and silver stars infused with plenty of charm and grace.

This showstopping look is both enchanting and ethereal for its creamy hue and cloud-like feel, which make it a truly mesmerising piece despite the modified neckline.

Having seen the whole range of pictures from this event, yes, she did wear some ugly sparkly silver platform pumps, in case you were wondering.

You may remember that Shailene Woodley wore the same dress to the 2014 Hollywood Awards back in November.

Fan Bingbing In Valentino – ‘Amazing Chinese’ Season Two Beijing Press Conference

Fan Bingbing In Valentino - 'Amazing Chinese' Season Two Beijing Press Conference

Fan Bingbing attended a press conference for season two of ‘Amazing Chinese’ on Thursday (January 8) in Beijing, China.

The actress wore a Valentino Resort 2015 long-sleeve necktie dress with a rainbow of vivid stripes in a chevron pattern, which defines this feminine design.

Opting not to emulate the look-book styling, the actress wore a pair of quadruple-stacked blue platform peep-toes, which are an assault on the eyes. Clearly Santa didn’t give Bingbing single sole sandals for Christmas.

Why would someone wear such a pretty dress with such godawful shoes?

Fan Bingbing In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘The Empress Of China’ Beijing TV Launch Press Conference

Fan Bingbing In Dolce & Gabbana - 'The Empress Of China' Beijing TV Launch Press Conference

Fan Bingbing attended a press conference to launch the TV series ‘The Empress Of China’ on Thursday (December 18) in Beijing, China.

The actress wore a fiery red lace dress with fringe detailing from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2015 collection.

Adding a tonal lining the dress still maintains its luxurious appeal, and while I don’t object to the colour of her black dress, considering it works very well with that luscious wavy raven mane, I do, naturally, object to the style.

When will this trend of hers end?
