Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Eva Mendes is totally having a Valentino moment.

The previous night she wore Valentino Couture to the Critics’ Choice Awards, and last night she wore Valentino again to the Art Of Elysium “Heaven” Gala.

The beautiful actress looked like an angel wearing a delicate Valentino Pre-Fall 2011 rose ruffled shoulder silk gown with draped neck and bow waist.

My only problem with this look is the headband.

Had it been worn by Elle Fanning she would’ve look totally adorable, but it on a grown woman it doesn’t quite work for me.

Eva completed her glamorous red carpet look with with Vram for Gray platinum and yellow gold European cut diamond ring and a Vram for Gray platinum amber zircon and diamond ring.

Kirsten Dunst also opted for something bold on the red carpet for the Art Of Elysium “Heaven” Gala in LA last night.

Just when I was starting to tire of Kirsten’s style she hits the red carpet wearing a Rodarte ‘Ming’ dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

The double patterned Rodarte wrap dress was unfortunately let down by some snooze-worthy maroon pumps.

Kirsten also added a Van Cleef & Arpels 1921 art deco diamond and sapphire bracelet to complement her dress.

Leighton Meester looked outstanding on the red carpet at the Art Of Elysium “Heaven” Gala in LA last night.

Her commitment to giving us something different and interesting every time she hits the red carpet continues to fascinates me.

Despite the extravagant nature of her Louis Vuitton Spring 2011 look, Leighton was very nonchalant, cool, calm and collected on the red carpet.

Her 70′s-inspired Louis Vuitton art deco style dress is stunning.

I love the multi-coloured fringes which give her plunging dress an ombre effect.

She kept her hair and make-up very simple, but added a stand-out embroidered Louis Vuitton clutch.

Roger Vivier peep-toes completed her look when I would’ve preferred the strappy runway heels.

Jennifer Love Hewitt would’ve turned a few heads at the Art Of Elysium “Heaven” Gala in LA last night.

Call me crazy, but there is something about her Paula Ka Black Carpet Collection gown that I actually like.

Her black strapless gown with an exaggerated white bow detail does look like the model is about to give birth to 10lbs of white satin, but it’s something different and unpredictable from Jennifer.

It not safe and boring like most of her usual red carpet looks.

The look was complete with a chic updo and a Kelly Locke ‘Mimi’ clutch.

I have felt very indifferent to Anna Kendrick’s red carpet choices over the past few appearances, but I was glad to see her glowing at the Art Of Elysium “Heaven” Gala in LA last night.

She wore a gorgeous Romona Keveza Spring 2011 dress.

Her navy satin strapless cocktail dress with vertically fan pleated bodice is beautifully sculptured. I’m glad it didn’t lose any of it’s oomph from the runway.

Gold accessories including a Christian Louboutin ‘Pliage’ clutch and Christian Louboutin ‘Ronda Dina’ ankle strap heels completed her look.

I’m so glad she didn’t over accessorize.

Rachel Bilson probably spent the night comparing notes with Camilla Belle at the Art Of Elysium “Heaven” Gala in LA last night.

Both appear on many red carpet events all over the world despite not having much to promote other than designer clothes.

On this occasion Rachel wore a Zac Posen peachy gown.

The gown is a huge departure from her usual style of short sassy – usually Chanel – dresses, but I like this gown on her.

It’s subtle, simple and beautiful.

Rachel completed her look with a gold Ferragamo leather minaudière.
