Ashley Madekwe In Naeem Khan (Fall 2012) - Art of Elysium Heaven Gala

‘Revenge’ star Ashley Madekwe stunned on the red carpet at the 2013 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala, held at 2nd Street Tunnel in California yesterday evening.

The actress wore a dazzling backless Naeem Khan Fall 2012 sterling silver paillette long-sleeve gown.

As much as I love her sparkly dress, I’m not so crazy about her hairstyle. The overall look would’ve been chicer without the bangs.

A dark red lip, a silver Judith Leiber clutch and Sorellina jewels completed her look.

Krysten Ritter in Alberta Ferretti - Art Of Elysium heaven gala

Krysten Ritter attended the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala held at 2nd Street Tunnel in California last night.

The actress experimented with a lot of different styles towards the end of last year, but she was back to her best wearing an ethereal Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 gown.

Her aqua blue gown with tonal and sky blue lace appliqués was styled with a silver Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.

As much as we moan about the over use of nude shoes on the red carpet, they would’ve worked perfectly with this gown which had a nude underlay. Instead Krysten opted for black, which didn’t work for me.

Julianne Hough in Jenny Packham - Art Of Elysium heaven gala

Braided updos were popular on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards, plus we’ve seen Jennifer Lawrence sporting this same hairstyle this weekend.

Julianne Hough kept that trend going at the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala held at 2nd Street Tunnel in California last night.

The actress/dancer donned a multi-colour floral long-sleeve embellished gown designed by Jenny Packham.

Like many others at this event, Julianne didn’t add too many accessories to her look, just a belt and studded earrings leaving the dress to shine on its own.

Are you loving this braided updo trend, or does it not work here for Juilanne?

Analeigh Tipton in Rafael Cennamo - Art of Elysium Heaven Gala

Analeigh Tipton attended the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala held at 2nd Street Tunnel in California on Saturday.

She wowed in a low-backed black Rafael Cennamo gown. The dress has some great details, including a sheer panel in the front, lacey trim and bracelet-length sleeves.

I love everything about this look. She accessorized with simple crystal studs, a cocktail ring, Rupert Sanderson pointy-toed black pumps and a black patent Nancy Gonzalez clutch.

She could have chosen bolder accessories that would stand out more, but I like that she picked ones that let the dress shine on its own.

The perfect finishing touch was her nude makeup and wispy pulled-back bun. We have been seeing this hairstyle all over the red carpet lately and I have a feeling we will continue to see more of it.

Rachel Bilson in Valentino - Art Of Elysium heaven gala

It’s been a while since we last saw Rachel Bilson on the red carpet, but she made a welcome return at the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala held at 2nd Street Tunnel in California last night.

Adored more for her street style than her red carpet style, she delights in this Valentino Resort 2013 gown.

The vibrant pink animal print long-sleeve gown was statement enough, so the actress didn’t add any trinkets, just a glossy pink lip colour.

What I love most about this look, aside from the colour and print, is that it’s so unexpected.

I would wear this in a heartbeat, but I would’ve assumed Rachel to have opted for the floral cutesy dresses showcased in this collection.
