Zhang Yuqi In Roberto Cavalli – amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Our favourite newcomer Zhang Yuqi took to the red carpet for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France this evening.

The Asian beauty stunned wearing a Roberto Cavalli pale-grey gown with a deep plunge and lace overlay, giving her a sexy streamline silhouette.

We’ve seen her in so many ball gowns, that it is great she opted to show off her toned figure on this occasion.

Looking every inch the sultry old Hollywood siren, she opted for a retro updo, Chopard jewels and a silver box clutch.

LoveGold Will Stream The 2013 amfAR Benefit Gala Live

The 2013 amfAR benefit gala is always a highlight during Cannes Film Festival, so I’m delighted to share that this year’s event will be streamed live this evening by the presenting sponsor LoveGold via LoveGold.com/Cannes2013.

This year’s theme, ‘The Ultimate Gold Collection’, will be styled by Carine Roitfeld.

The show promises to feature spectacular, one-off gold looks from the likes of Givenchy, Chanel and Emilio Pucci, accessorised with precious gold jewellery from designers such as Eddie Borgo, Pamela Love and Kimberly Mcdonald. The dresses will be auctioned off as a single lot to to raise money for amfAR, the foundation for AIDS research.

Fergie In Dsquared² – amfAR Inspiration Gala São Paulo

amfAR returned to Brazil for its third annual Inspiration Gala São Paulo, held at the home of Dinho Diniz. This year the tributes were paid to two honorees: iconic Brazilian athlete Pelé was presented with the Humanitarian Award, and pop star Fergie was presented with the amfAR Award of Inspiration.

The pregnant star collected her award wearing a Dsquared2 tuxedo from the Fall 2013 collection.

I have to say I’m very surprised by her masculine choice; I would’ve loved to have seen her in a gorgeous gown.

Anyway, her satin shawl-collar jacket with satin buttons was styled with a white button-down shirt and accessories from the same Dsquared² Fall 2013 collection.

Despite my wishful thinking, if I had to change one thing about this look, I would hem up the pants an inch or three.

amfAR New York Gala To Kick Off Fall 2013 Fashion Week Red Carpet Round Up

Many more stars joined Sarah Jessica Parker and Alexa Chung on the red carpet last night for the amfAR New York Gala to kick off Fall 2013 Fashion Week.

Heidi Klum: No surprises that the Project Runway host wore a Michael Kors gown. Her black jersey halter gown with crystal embroidery was styled with a white-and-black diamond necklace and a matching ring by her favourite jeweller, Lorraine Schwartz. Sleek locks and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her look.

Crystal Renn: The model was wearing… you guessed it – Zac Posen. Her bold red gown with a floor-sweeping skirt was styled with Lorraine Schwartz ruby earrings and a retro updo. As predictable as this look is, for Crystal it never gets old.

Chloe Sevigny In Proenza Schouler – amfAR New York Gala To Kick Off Fall 2013 Fashion Week

For a while, the allure of Chloe Sevigny was starting to wane, but she was back to her best on the red carpet for the amfAR New York Gala to kick off Fall 2013 Fashion Week held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City yesterday evening.

Gone is the slight dishevelled appearance in favour of a more polished look, whilst still maintaining her downtown-girl edge wearing a Proenza Schouler Spring 2013 frock.

Her printed black-and-white dress with a side slit was of course styled with some sturdy Proenza Schouler booties and a simple black fold-over clutch.
