I feel like I should be keeping this to myself, but Yoox.co.uk the online sales boutique will be holding a vintage Chanel sale where one-off items, jewellery and accessories will all be sold via their website 18 hours from now.

Over 100 items of carefully sourced Chanel items will make their way to desktops everywhere.

The sale’s emphasis will be on current wearability rather than couture and museum-style pieces. Yoox founder Federico Marchetti told the Financial Times: “We are not an archive house but a store.”

The oldest items come from the 1950s, when Coco Chanel re-established her Paris house after the war, but many more are from the period of Karl Lagerfeld’s tenure as designer, starting in the mid-1980s.

Everything on sale is in great condition and prices are very reasonable. Starting at approximately £130 for jewellery up to £260 for a gilt-buttoned swimsuit to £1000 for a silk dress and matching jacket.

I have always been looking for the perfect Chanel bag, looks like I have a perfect excuse to spend. Not that I ever need one.
