2010 NRJ Music Awards – Fergie In Armani Privé

I’m loving Fergie’s red carpet choices lately. She’s gone all sophisticated.

In Cannes this weekend she joined Rihanna on the red carpet at the 2010 NRJ Awards in Cannes.

Fergie also opted for Couture wearing an Armani Privé Fall 2009 one-shoulder gown with Christian Louboutin black patent heels.

The blue shimmering crystal embellished gown with a black ornate strap also acted as a zipper, which Fergie had zipped up to as tastefully possible whilst showing off her well moisturized legs.

This is not the first time Fergie has worn Armani Privé. She wore a black strapless Fall 2009 gown to the 2009 American Music Awards.

Laura wishes to see Angelina Jolie in this dress. I hope Laura still gets her wish, but I think those hopes may have been dashed.

2010 NRJ Music Awards – Malika Menard In Zuhair Murad Couture

Malika Menard aka Miss France joined the stars at the 2010 NRJ Awards.

The reason she caught my eye was because she too was wearing a Couture gown.

Her marine dress is from Zuhair Murad’s “underwater themed” Spring 2009 Couture collection.

If Malika had red hair she would’ve been a modern day Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” – my favourite Disney cartoon of all time.

2010 NRJ Music Awards – Rihanna In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture

Over the last few months I’ve started to get back into Rihanna’s style.

This is mostly because she appears to have calmed down on the over dramatic pieces, but has managed to maintain an interesting level of creativity.

I think this was beautifully displayed at the 2010 NRJ Music Awards this weekend, when she walked the red carpet wearing a stunning Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2008 Couture gown.

The white embroidered gown was split to the thigh with a silver lurex skirt underneath. I think this look shows a much softer side of Rihanna, which we haven’t seen in a long while.

Her dress was paired with wedged heels and silver jewels.

I know many of you just can’t get over the hairstyle, but what do you think of this look?
