Red Carpet Fashion Awards

I loved every since piece from Jonathan Saunders Spring 2011 collection.

The pretty flared short dresses and skirts were so adorable and were further emphasized with a thin belt.

The colour-blocking gave us interesting colour combinations and also included prints.

I love how the printed chiffon dresses and skirt floated down the runway.

We also saw starched shirts, haltered tops and cocktail dresses.

Each model had a bouncy ponytail and voluptuous bold red lips.

Christian Louboutin provided the perfectly colour-blocked heels to go with the colourful dresses.

I adore the heels with the pretty bows.

Front Row: Olivia Palermo

Favourites: Strapless colour-block pencil dress and yellow halter chiffon dress

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Jessica Alba, Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana and Thandie Newton

Marios Schwab’s Spring 2011 started with the sound of bikes revving before Nirvana “Smells like teen spirit” starting playing.

From the camisole dresses, to the choppy wigs and chunky Ergun Dundar ankle boots it smells more like Courtney Love.

The collection had a soft romantic side against a structured utilitarian spirit.

The romance came from the fluid silks and lace trims with the harder edge coming from the leather harnesses and tattooed images of snakes and symbols.

Apart from the dresses we saw tattooed leggings, fitted shift dresses and leather pants.

Favourites: tan leather dress and sleeveless dress with tattoo print top

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Courtney Love, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Jessica Alba and Rihanna

Antonio Berardi’s Spring 2011 collection was toned down from the uber sexy dresses he normally presents.

On this occasion everything was more ethereal and romantic.

This was never more evident on the rose bud appliqués which adorned the designs creating a feminine feel.

If you are still looking for a sexy dress from Berardi, he did present some fitted LBDs with cut out or plunging necklines.

The colour palette included fuschia pink, baby pink, black, white, silver and khaki green.

I loved the details and the stand out colours in this splendid collection.

Front Row: David Gandy and Anna Dello Russo

Favourites: Pink rise and fall dress with a silver cropped jacket and mini fuschia pink dress with rose bud appliqués.

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Gwyneth Paltrow, Kyra Sedgwick, Victoria Beckham, Katie Cassidy, Ginnifer Goodwin, Taylor Swift, Sandra Bullock, Diane Kruger and Kate Walsh

Despite our dreary weather we sure know how to do colour in London.

Whilst New York Fashion Week gave us lots of nude and neutrals, London is bold and colourful.

Christopher Kane’s Spring 2011 presented a fun collection of neon colours of yellow, orange, pink and green.

He mixed simple silhouettes with futuristic colours and bold prints.

Soft lace, jersey prints, laser cut leather and argyle tops were presented with signature ‘sexy as hell’ Giuseppe Zanotti heels with the same neon colour palette.

If anyone pairs these pieces with black pumps I’m going to lose my mind.

Yet again this is one of my favourites of the season.

Front Row: Yasmin le Bon, Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfeld and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld

Favourites: the neon yellow lace dress and the pink dress withe the embroidered details

Who do I see wearing this collection: Leighton Meester, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Rihanna, Jamie Winstone, Emma Watson, Daisy Low

This morning I got up bright and early for the 9am Peter Pilotto Spring 2011 presentation which was held at the Topshop show space at the old Eurostar Waterloo terminal.

Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos were inspired by Californian retro rock climbers and their colourful sports wear. They also looked to multicoloured muscle illustrations for inspiration.

The duo’s signature prints were refreshing light on a palette of white, eggshell blues, peachy nudes, vibrant electric blue, coral, black white and beige.

I loved the sporty feel of the collection. The parachute silks kind of reminded me of the 80s shell suits, but done is a more sophisticated way.

We were presented with full-length dresses, cropped jackets with sporty panelling and zipper details, knit turtlenecks, drop-waist colour-block dresses, a double zip sleeveless jacket worn as a dress and mini print dresses.

As this collection was about sports and movement, we saw new cuts, longer refined silhouettes and fly away panels to visually illustrate speed.

The key accessories from this collection were the Nicholas Kirkwood heels which either had a hollow heel, print straps or gold details.

I really loved the large gold paper clips which were incorporated into necklines and used buckles.

Favourites: The blue, nude dress above with the pleated skirt and striped knit turtle neck with the matching pants

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Angelina Jolie, Leighton Meester, Chloe Sevigny, Cassie, Marion Cotillard and Isabel Lucas
