Charlize Theron & Michael Fassbender For W Magazine August 2012

‘Prometheus’ co-stars Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender steam up the cover for W magazine’s August 2012 issue.

The South-African actress looks ravishing wearing a Dior Archive dress with a Tiffany & Co. sterling silver necklace on the cover, but if you think that’s hot, you should check out the rest of the editorial.

Mario Sorrenti captures the actors up close and very personal in several shots with Fassbender mostly topless and Charlize smouldering wearing a Dolce & Gabbana silk bodysuit, an Yves Saint Laurent metal chain dress and an Agent Provocateur leather bodysuit.

In the issue Charlize talks to the mag about the first time she saw her co-star, going into space and whether she prefers a death scene or a sex scene.

Charlize Theron: On whether she prefers a death scene or a sex scene:
“It depends on who you’re doing the sex scene with. I don’t have issues being naked [pauses]. That sounds very slutty… What I mean is, I’m not hung up on my body, and I’ve been lucky to work with people I’ve been really comfortable with.” Read More…

Marion Cotillard Graces Three Covers For August 2012

This month you will not only see Emma Stone dominating the newsstand, but also Marion Cotillard who graces American Vogue, Vogue Paris, and Marie Claire UK for August 2012.

The French actress who stars alongside Anne Hathaway in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ was shot by Peter Lindbergh for American Vogue wearing a navy-blue luxe Ralph Lauren blazer.

Mario Sorrenti captured her in smouldering beauty in a close-up shot for Vogue Paris who’s August issue is devoted entirely to Parisian women. It’s a shame they removed her beauty spot.

For Marie Claire UK, Marion wears a pink jacquard sleeveless peplum top which was shot by Daniel Gabbay.

All three covers are great, but I would have to pick Vogue Paris as my favourite. I don’t feel much of a wow factor from the other two.

Kristen Wiig For Marie Claire US August 2012

Kristen Wiig graces the cover of Marie Claire magazine’s August 2012 issue wearing a Tom Ford suit.

This cover has been a hot topic as people have been mainly focusing on her side boob.

Shot by Tesh, the rest of the editoral sees her wearing Emilio Pucci, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, No. 21, YSL and Sakist Taylor.

The funny gal talks to the mag about leaving ‘Saturday Night Live’ and dropping out of college to travel in Mexico.

Pick up the issue when it hits newsstands on July 17 or head to MarieClaire.com.

On leaving SNL after seven seasons: “I know a lot of people probably assume, ‘Oh, she’s leaving because she is going to be doing movies now and things like that,’ which I will be,” she notes. “But I just always knew it was going to be seven and that was it. I think maybe if I were 22, I could see myself staying a little bit, but it just felt like the right time.”

On dropping out of college to travel in Mexico: “Sailing, kayaking, going with 20 strangers into the mountains of the Yucatán. Probably one of the more important things that I’ve done. It felt like that first big accomplishment. I was scared to do it, I knew it was going to be really hard, and I did it.”

On her happiness: “I will say that I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I feel very lucky. [Because of] where I am now. Who he [boyfriend, Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti] is. Those are the two big ones.”

Katy Perry For Vogue Italia July 2012

Even though she’s a natural blonde, normally we associate Katy Perry with long dark tresses.

For her Vogue Italia July 2012 editorial she’s barely recognizable wearing a platinum wig with pale skin and heavy black eye makeup.

In two pics she donned the Linda Farrow for Prabal Gurung sunglasses we’ve seen on Lady Gaga, which adds to the futuristic feel of the photo shoot.

My favourite shot is of her wearing the McQ Alexander McQueen dress with the visor from the mainline collection.

Other looks include her looking chic in Jil Sander, on all fours in Dsquared2 , donning head-to-toe pink in Comme des Garçons, sweet in Valentino, daring in sheer Dolce & Gabbana and sexy in Donna Karan; all styled by Francesco Carrozzini.

She talked to Vogue Italia about her docu-movie, her eclectic tastes and her style.

Here are some extracts from her interview. Read more over at Vogue.it.

On showing her behind-the-scenes self in ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’: “I am not afraid to show the real me, the de-glamorized version, because I am not always the Katy Perry who is a bit cartoon-like that everyone relates to. That’s me on stage. But I like to show the entire spectrum of my personality. There are so many different Katy Perrys enclosed within one body, unfortunately.”

On her tastes being ‘eclectic’: “I like small boutiques, handmade garments, ornamental details. It all depends on how I am when I wake up. But, by and large, I like anything that is fun. One of my favorite American designers is Jeremy Scott: I adore him because he doesn’t play along, and I do the same.”

On where she gets her look: “I say this even if I may sound egocentric: they are my ideas. But, obviously, I am helped by a stylist, my friend Wujek.”

Emma Stone For Vogue UK & Teen Vogue August 2012

At present you can’t pass a newsstand without seeing the gorgeous Emma Stone looking back at you.

There aren’t many actresses who can pull off a Vogue hat-trick.

For July she covered American Vogue, and for August she covered Teen Vogue and Vogue UK.

Sporting straight strawberry-blonde locks and heavily lined eyes, the raspy-voiced Revlon ambassador was captured by Patrick Demarchelier for Vogue UK wearing a MaxMara black-and-white houndstooth sweater and a wool-and-leather cap by the same brand.

I love the slightly mod look, it’s in total contrast to her Teen Vogue cover where she looks very sweet sporting a lighter hair colour whilst posing alongside boyfriend Andew Garfield wearing a Louis Vuitton dress which was shot by Josh Olins.

The rest of her editorial sees her wearing Marc Jacobs, McQ by Alexander McQueen, Mulberry, Calvin Klein and Prada.

Rihanna For Harper’s Bazaar August 2012

Rihanna looks stunning on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar US for their August 2012 cover wearing a simple Calvin Klein dress and Neil Lane bracelet.

In fact she is stunning throughout the editorial shot by Camilla Akrans.

Even when wearing uber-sexy looks by Tom Ford, Balmain, Alexander Wang, Paco Rabanne and Ralph Lauren, the singer still looks soft, serene and approachable. It’s refreshing to see this side to her.

I adore the fresh-faced makeup they opted for on this occasion. The bronze eyes and lip colour is to die for.

The singer talks to the mag about sex, music and living life in the public eye.

You can read some extracts below. Be sure to buy this issue of Harper’s Bazaar which hits newsstands on July 17:

On her body: “I don’t know if there’s something going on with my body right now, but I’m eating everything in life! I miss my ass. It just went away! I need a butt. I have an idea of one, but it’s not living up to its full potential right now.”

On falling in love: “When I was in love, I fell so hard. I was really, really, really in love. The way it made me feel was priceless. And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I’d feel that pain in my life. I’m afraid of feeling that again.”

On her collaboration with Chris Brown: “The fans could have said, ‘We don’t want anything to do with it’. I understood that people had every right to be concerned about it. But I didn’t see it that way because I’m in a different place.”

On being rebellious: “[I’m] rebellious through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair. I have been conservative in my love life… it’s pretty much nonexistent. If I come across someone who I find really cool, I’ll hang out. But the minute I find that we’re getting too close I just—I don’t let people in.”
