Miley Cyrus For Harper’s Bazaar February 2010

“IT’S MILEY”.

If you chuckled you must watch “The Soup” on E!.

It is indeed Miley Cyrus on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s February 2010 issue, and I have to admit I love both the cover and the editorial.

Me loving what Miley’s wearing???

I know. I checked my temperature and don’t appear to be coming down with anything.

I love it because she’s not overdress, nor does she appear to be ‘partying in the USA’ wearing Daisy dukes and cowboy boots.

In the shots taken by Peter Lindbergh she’s wearing Giorgio Armani on the cover, plus Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren and my favourite is her in Burberry Prorsum. She looks grown up, yet age appropriate.

In the interview Miley shares the ups and downs of her success, talks about the much-criticized Vanity Fair photo, and why she was crying with happiness when she left LA this summer.

On the headline-making Vanity Fair photo of Miley wrapped in a bed sheet: “Here, my parents are thinking they’re seeing a beautiful photograph by a major photographer, and the people of America want to see something dirty in that? It doesn’t make sense to us because [my family] doesn’t look for negativity. But people don’t want to say ‘What a great performance’ or ‘What a great shot.’ No one wants to look at something like that and see the positive because it doesn’t sell a magazine.”

Victoria Beckham For Harper’s Bazaar December 2009

Before you pop out to get your sandwich from Pret A Manger, you should also pick up a copy of Harper’s Bazaar which features Victoria Beckham on the cover.

Victoria Beckham plays the noir heroine caught in sultry reverie in an exclusive fashion shoot for a special double cover December issue.

The critically acclaimed fashion designer, who has wowed the critics and top designers alike with her sexy elegant dresses, unveils an amazingly toned body and tight top knot hairstyle in a 16 page portfolio of sexy, chic photographs.

Photographed by Alexi Lubomirski, Victoria wears a range of seductive yet feminine looks from an Yves Saint Laurent leather bodysuit to her own figure-hugging silk gazar dress.

In the spectacular Harper’s Bazaar cover spread, several famous designers, including Antonio Berardi, Manolo Blahnik and Roberto Cavalli, also give their expert verdicts – all positive – on Victoria’s designs, a further acknowledgment that the industry is taking her seriously as a designer.

In the interview, Victoria also reveals to Harper’s Bazaar the secrets of her remarkable success and why fashion is her true calling . . . .

On staying true to her path: “People never believed the solo singing career, and it wasn’t the real me – I was a little bit lost at the time. I don’t mind making mistakes. I just can’t live with anyone else’s mistakes. I’m a complete control freak. I’m not the easiest person to work with because I’m so passionate and being a working mum, it’s a balancing act.”

Agyness Deyn For Harper’s Bazaar US September 2009

Agyness Deyn pays tribute to the late Michael Jackson, on the subscribers cover of the September 2009 issue of US Harper’s Bazaar which was shot by Terry Richardson.

Michael Jackson’s eccentric style will live on forever which is shown in the 6 page editorial.

Deyn wears iconic MJ outfits including the dazzling socks and his iconic glove. Her poses are on point as she balances on the tips of her toes.

In her PYT shoot Deyn wears Moschino, YSL, Stella McCartney and Balmain blazer from the runway, plus MJ’s iconic red leather Thriller jacket from Fierce Costumes and a crystallised Swarovski Rag and Bone blazer.

I love this editorial. Even though Deyn is not my favourite model, I think she captures the energy and spirit of MJ in each picture.

Kate Winslet For Harper’s Bazaar US August 2009

Kate Winslet is very much a girls girl. I don’t think I have ever hear a bad word said against her. Everyone loves her, and what’s not to love. She is beautiful, down-to-earth and refreshing honest.

These traits make her the perfect cover girl for Harper’s Bazaar’s August 2009 issue.

On the newsstand cover – which I prefer to the subscriber cover below – she looks gorgeous wearing a Michael Kors white crepe one-shouldered dress. Inside the issue she talks about her reputation, drugs, her breasts and nudity. Here are some extracts:

On her breasts: “If people are noticing my boobs in a movie and saying they do what real boobs do, then that’s great. I’ll be 34 in October. I can’t keep getting away with it… people have seen enough of my bum and my boobs. I have to put them back.”

Rachel Weisz For Harper’s Bazaar August 2009

Yummy mummy Rachel Weisz has a commandingly sexy look on the cover of the August 2009 edition of Harper’s Bazaar UK.

She looks stunning wearing a black velvet Giorgio Armani Fall 2009 dress with an asymmetrical neckline and a bejeweled shoulder detail.

The rest of her editorial shot by Cliff Watts is pretty amazing too. I love the Alexander McQueen studded thigh-high boots below. You’d think Rachel is too sweet and innocent to pull something like that off, but she channels her inner diva to give us some fierce looks.

On her Oscar: “It’s proudly displayed on a shelf in the bathroom. The best room of the house.”

Halle Berry For Harper’s Bazaar US May 2009

The gorgeous Halle Berry graces the cover of the May 2009 edition of Harper’s Bazaar US.

I love everything about this shoot excluding the wig.

Why did they opt for a wig?

She is perfection without the wig. I’m obsessing over the wig.

With her new fragrance in stores, Halle by Halle Berry, the love of an incredibly sexy man, Gabriel Aubry, and her baby daughter, Nahla brightening up her world. Life couldn’t be happier for Halle.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On how her body’s changed since having Nahla: “Having a baby takes so much from you. It’s the most glorious thing you’ll ever do, but the aftermath is not so glorious! So now I’m having to exercise, eat a little bit differently, take a lot more vitamins.”

What she thinks of actresses who say they don’t work at staying slim: “God bless them if they’re telling the truth. It’s questionable if they are. I always had to diet. I’m diabetic, so it’s a lifestyle for me anyway just to stay healthy and not end up in the hospital.”

On what works for her fashionwise: “I’m not the girl for superhigh fashion because I don’t have the right body. When I want to get dressed up, I’m a Roberto Cavalli girl. Also, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Calvin Klein …”

On whose style she like’s: “Eva Mendes. She’s beautiful, and she’s sexy and hot, and I love her.”
