Taylor Swift For Allure April 2009

Country star Taylor Swift graces the cover girl of Allure magazines April 2009 edition.

The singer’s sophomore album Fearless was #1 in the US pop album chart for 11 weeks, which seals her superstar status.

In her interview, Taylor talks about some difficult issues like weight and sex. Here are some extracts:

On weight: “Basically, if Iâ€™m indulging too much and not exercising enough, I can feel that. I can feel a change before I see it. For me, working out is not so I can stay skinny. Itâ€™s so that I can keep up my endurance so Iâ€™m not panting on stage. Heavy breathing is the worst when youâ€™re in concert. You donâ€™t want to see that, if youâ€™re going to see a show.”

On staying quiet about her virginity: “Itâ€™s fine to talk about love publicly. But I think when you talk about virginity and sex publicly, people just automatically picture you naked. And as much as I can prevent people picturing me naked, Iâ€™m going to.”

On Fairy Tales: “I have always been fascinated with fairy talesâ€¦ and the idea that Prince Charming is just one castle away. And youâ€™re gonna run across a field and meet each other in the middle, and have an amazing, perfect movie kiss. And itâ€™s all gonna be happily ever after.”

On writing that perfect break-up song: “For some reason, I could never, ever stop writing songs about heartbreak. Just because as human beings, what we canâ€™t have is what we replay in our head over and over again before we go to sleep.”

Cindy Crawford For Allure April 2009

In a photo shoot for Allure magazine’s April 2009 edition, Cindy Crawford looks outstanding, as she energetically tears up a loaf of white bread, whilst wearing a cut-out Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring 2009 bikini.

The supermodel is seen in a number of different shots for the ‘anti-aging issue’. Each of the images represents a different tip to maintain youthful looks.

According to the captions those wanting to maintain their youth should focus on achieving:

‘the youngest looking smile: White, even teeth, and pin, healthy gums,’ and ‘hair that’s strong, shiny and vibrant looks youthful, regardless of its colour.’

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On her body: “I think I look pretty good for 43, but I don’t look the way I did when I was 23. I do have cellulite, I never said I didn’t. I’ve had two kids and I’m 43, so leave me alone!”

On the reason she takes most care of her hands: “In LA, there are 65-year-old women walking around in Juicy sweatpants, and from the back, you’d think they were 20. But when you see their hands or their neck, you know.”
