Kylie Minogue In Halpern – 2017 Attitude Awards

Kylie Minogue picked up the ‘Legend’ Award at the 2017 Attitude Awards held at The Roundhouse on Thursday (October 12) in London.

Her Halpern high-neck sequin-embellished Fall 2017 mini dress recalls hazy disco-ball reflections in hedonistic 70s nightclubs, from Studio 54 in New York to Le Sept and Le Palace in Paris, which she paired with equally reflective sandals.

I’m not surprised Kylie didn’t opt for the popular two-piece Halpern look we’ve seen worn by Marion Cotillard, Katy Perry and Cardi B, mostly because Kylie never met a mini dress she didn’t love and the aforementioned look would’ve drowned her petite frame.

Sofia Carson In Tommy Hilfiger – ‘Descendants 2’ Tokyo Premiere

Sofia Carson attended the Disney Channel’s ‘Descendants 2’ premiere at Toranomon Hills on Thursday (October 12) in Tokyo, Japan.

Retro inspiration and nautical elements may have come together on the Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2016 runway, but Sofia opted for the strappy version styled with Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Betty’ platform sandals.

Her high shine look saw her temper her favoured bold lip for a more neutral shade, with her raven tress falling around her shoulders.

Amanda Holden In Julien Macdonald – 2017 Attitude Awards

Amanda Holden attended the 2017 Attitude Awards held at The Roundhouse on Thursday (October 12) in London.

The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge usually lives for princess dresses, but she wasn’t holding back (pun intended), when she decided to showcase her sultry style at this event wearing Julien Macdonald .

Her spliced down the center LBD which hails from the Fall 2016 collection, was simply styled with Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Harmony’ sandals.

I would say this was a successful and interesting change for direction. What say you?

Carey Mulligan In Giambattista Valli – ‘Mudbound’ New York Screening

Carey Mulligan was back on the red carpet for the ‘Mudbound’ screening during the 55th New York Film Festival in New York City on Thursday (October 12).

After celebrating her décolletage earlier this week, she opted for a far more covered selection this time out with this ruby-red Giambattista Valli Resort 2018 gown.

I was thankful for the subtle ruffle detail and tonal belt that offered feminine shaping—and a hint of flair—to the more solemn side of the dress.

Introducing a bold red lip and a tousled, upswept bun was also a lovely way to finish out the elegant look.

Renee Zellweger In Carolina Herrera – ‘Same Kind Of Different As Me’ LA Premiere

Things that will always be true.

1. Water is wet.

2. Wednesday is considered the middle of the week.

3. Time will never stand still; and

4. Renee Zellweger will always look radiant in Carolina Herrera.

It’s been a while since we last saw Renee on the red carpet, but she was back for the ‘Same Kind Of Different As Me’ premiere on Thursday (October 12) in Westwood, California.

Her radiance doesn’t just apply to the yellow hue of her Spring 2018 dress, more the energy and happiness she emotes when wearing her favourite designer.

It’s the longest serving and most fruitful union in fashion; and one I never tire of seeing.

Picking the right shoe was vital to making this look work, black would’ve been a huge temptation to allow the dress to stand alone, but Renee’s pale-yellow Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps kept the vibrant energy flowing.
