Nina Dobrev In Ralph Lauren – HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Nina Dobrev stepped out at the HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards event on Wednesday (November 15) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress always had a modern feminine style, but I must say that her sophisticated bob has only enhanced it.

Her Ralph Lauren Fall 2017 gown had a slinky feel courtesy of the flowing slip silhouette. It was enhanced with the liquefied-look fabric.

I was especially enamoured with how the dress spoke to the designer’s classic aesthetic, while adding an athletic feel thanks to the colour-blocked panels which were reminiscent of racing stripes.

Anna Hathaway In Halston Heritage – 68th National Book Awards

Anne Hathaway’s gradual return to the red carpet continued at the 68th National Book Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday (November 15) in New York City, where she joined Emma Roberts.

Classic in black, her gown from Halston Heritage is fashioned with peak lapels to give the look timeless tuxedo elegance.

Styled with an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch, the look benefited from the beautiful tasselled earrings, however, considering the comments on Kate Winslet’s post earlier, my feeling is the majority may find this boring.

Emma Roberts In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – 68th National Book Awards

Summer’s love affair with gingham continued into the new season when Emma Roberts stepped onto the red carpet for the 68th National Book Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday (November 15) in New York City.

I was totally enamoured by the romantic nature of this Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2017 Couture gown – yes, even with the granny panties.

With the delicate ruffles and an oversize bow which cascaded down the train, this gown made me want to put on my ‘Gone With the Wind’ DVD to relive the magic of Scarlett O’Hara’s southern belle iconic outfits.

A black Victoria Beckham ‘Mini Bow’ clutch completed this gorgeous look.

Danielle Rose Russell In Sachin & Babi – ‘Wonder’ LA Premiere

Danielle Rose Russell joined Darby Stanchfield on the red carpet for the ‘Wonder’ LA premiere on Tuesday (November 14) in Westwood, California.

Nothing says evening elegance quite like a strapless silhouette.

Even with the dark colour and mysterious embellishments, I love how this Sachin & Babi Spring 2018 dress is oozing with plenty of romantic flair; which mostly comes down to the voluminous semi-sheer skirt.

Danielle teamed her dress with a Roseark choker, Kate Spade New York clutch and Tamara Mellon ‘Pistol’ patent leather pumps, which are a sassier version on the traditional Mary Jane pump.

2017 Whitney Art Party Red Carpet Roundup

In addition to Nina Dobrev and Hilary Rhoda, there were more pretties on the scene at the 2017 Whitney Art Party on Tuesday (November 14) in New York City.

Leigh Lezark: This Monse Resort 2018 ensemble is such a signature mix of masculine and feminine inspirations that you will likely remember Fan Bingbing wearing it, as well. However, I like Leigh’s effortless variation on it with the red sandals and cool-girl attitude.

Zosia Mamet: Zosia’s style continues to evolve—and I continue to become more impressed with the level of polish. This Monse Fall 2017 ensemble styled with Wolford ‘Pure 50’ tights was so directionally edgy for the ‘Girls’ actress whilst maintaining a sense of modern refinement. I like how every detail—from the necklaces to the grommet belt and booties—feels well thought-out and rightfully placed without being overcooked.

Natasha Poly: I found the model’s Monse Spring 2018 ensemble so intriguing for the sassy-romantic drape of the top juxtaposed with the distressed, cropped denim for a thoroughly different take on modern femininity that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Portia Doubleday In Jonathan Simkhai – AOL’s Build Series

Portia Doubleday swung by Build Studio to chat about her show, ‘Mr. Robot,’ on Tuesday (November 14) in New York City.

The slashed ruffle Jonathan Simkhai Fall 2017 cold-shoulder top partnered so well with the sharp pleats of the plisse skirt.

But, it was the rich combination of navy and mulberry that I immediately fell for, as they struck me as such a fresh, sophisticated interpretation on classic fall colours—plus, they were a lovely pairing to her ice blonde waves.

I’m so glad she opted for a matching pump to maintain consistency.
