Zhang Ziyi In Zuhair Murad Couture - 4th Beijing Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Zhang Ziyi took to the stage for the opening ceremony of the 4th Beijing International Film Festival held at China’s National Grand Theatre on Wednesday (April 16) in Beijing, China.

Changing out of her Elie Saab red carpet jumpsuit, the actress outdid herself, wearing a stunning Zuhair Murad Spring 2014 Couture gown.

This was my favourite couture show of the season, and I’m delighted to see so many pieces making their way off the runway and onto the red carpet.

Ziyi looked radiant in her long-sleeved fully beaded gold gown featuring a long train.

Some may be suffering a tinge of disappointment that this beauty wasn’t worn on the red carpet, but I’m just grateful that I can’t see what shoes she’s wearing under this gown.

Of the two looks, which do you prefer: this glamorous, somewhat expected gown or the sleek Elie Saab jumpsuit?

Leighton Meester In Versace - 'Of Mice and Men' Opening Night After-Party

Leighton Meester returned to the red carpet with a party at the Plaza Hotel to celebrate her Broadway opening night for ‘Of Mice and Men’ on Wednesday (April 16) in New York City.

She was the picture of elegance, showcasing a flawless silhouette wearing a Versace navy chiffon gown with a fitted bodice, draped hips and a central slit.

The look was styled with jewels from Kimberly McDonald and Jacob and Co. plus a white clutch, with the result being a timelessly glamorous and sophisticated look.

It is so good to see her back, and back to her very best.

Song Hye Kyo In Jenny Packham - 4th Beijing Film Festival

Song Hye Kyo served up a different kind of elegance on the red carpet for the 4th Beijing International Film Festival held at China’s National Grand Theatre on Wednesday (April 16) in Beijing, China.

Dark romance was her M.O., wearing a quietly dramatic Jenny Packham Fall 2013 off-the-shoulder black gown accented with a grosgrain waistband.

Modernizing the look with a wraparound gold cuff, she also added gold earrings, which were perfectly showcased due to her elegant updo.

You may remember that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore this same gown to the 100 Women Hedge Funds Gala late last year.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Diane von Furstenberg - Echo Point Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge visited Echo Point in Katoomba, Australia on Thursday (April 17).

With every stage of this tour, I feel like Catherine’s looks are getting better. She stunned in Roksanda Ilincic dress yesterday, and today we see her wearing a Diane von Furstenberg ikat-batik-printed classic wrap dress, which you won’t be able to label matronly.

The casual look was styled with her favourite Stuart Weitzman navy cork wedges and a navy clutch.

Jimmy Choo 1Even more beauties came out to support Jimmy Choo’s exclusive launch party for CHOO.08˚, hosted by the label’s creative director, Sandra Choi, on Tuesday (April 15) in Beverly Hills, California. Here, a roundup of their Choo-infused looks.

January Jones: Opting for an all-black look, the ‘Mad Men’ actress enlivened the monochrome with Jimmy Choo ‘Hammer’ platform sandals, a punchy Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ message clutch and a bright red lip. With just a few too many layers of mismatched black—and a few unfortunate creases in the tunic—I couldn’t fully get behind this look.

Jordana Brewster: Exuding effortlessly on-trend style, Jordana wore a Kate Spade Saturday sleeveless crop top, Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 cobalt blue trousers, Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and artsy Emm Kuo box clutch. Of course, I loved the intense blue colour of her pants, not to mention the pop of that bubblegum-pink lip.

Lily Allen In Chanel and Ermanno Scervino - Out In ParisLily Allen was spotted out and about in Paris, France on Tuesday (April 15), where she was seen arriving at the ‘NRJ’ radio station, as well as at the Chanel boutique—naturally.

For her outing, she indeed turned to Chanel for much of her inspiration, donning a black-and-white Spring 2014 schoolgirl tunic frock, accessorized by a Chanel gold pendant necklace and a Spring 2014 rainbow tote bag.

Yes, the dress was short. But the real attention-grabber of the look had nothing to do with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld’s collection. Rather, her bold Ermanno Scervino Fall 2013 leopard coat was responsible for taking the charm factor into more untamed territory.

The black Christian Louboutin platform pumps are also at fault. A daintier shoe would have better aligned to that bow-accented dress and her pretty pink lip.

As is, this look seems to be having an identity crisis.
