Vanessa Bruno LA Dinner

Vanessa Bruno is another out-of-town designer, who’s keen to get young Hollywood wearing her clothes.

UK stars like Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Cole know all about Vanessa Bruno, so Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth were formally introduced at a dinner party in LA last night.

Rachel mixed two pieces from Vanessa Bruno’s Spring 2010 collection.

I absolutely love this look from head-to-toe.

Her look included a Vanessa Bruno cape style blazer with a striped top and an orange Vanessa Bruno skirt.

An embellished clutch and tan sandals complete this chic look.

This is the first time in a long time I’ve loved a Rachel Bilson red carpet look.

This is BDOTW worthy for me.

Kate Bosworth enjoys her second night out in a row with a fabulous designer.

The blonde actress wore an orange Vanessa Bruno Spring 2010 spaghetti strap dress which had a high-low hemline.

A matching Vanessa Bruno puff-sleeved asymmetrical blouse worn as a cardigan and matchy Jonathan Kelsey ‘Amy’ pumps complete the look.

I love matchy matchy looks, but even this is too one tone for me.

Rachel showed much more imagination with her look.

“Last Girl On Earth Tour” LA After Show Party – Rihanna In D&G

Rihanna attended an exclusive after party for her following her “Last Girl On Earth” show last night in Hollywood.

Whatever Rihanna wears is heavily criticized, but on this occasion I love her look.

Her charmingly chic D&G Pre-Fall 2010 black and multi-coloured polka dot jumpsuit with an asymmetrical neckline puts the fun back into her closet.

Sometimes she tries too hard, but this relaxed approached to the red carpet is very refreshing.

Black strappy sandals would’ve been preferred, but I guess she wanted ensure her jumpsuit stood out.

It alarming how well her red hair works with this look.

  • X Factor Boot Camp – Nicole Scherzinger In Tibi

Nicole Scherzinger is still guest judge on the X Factor.

She’s covering the boot camp stage for Dannii Mingoue who’s on maternity leave and Cheryl Cole who’s battling to get better after being struck down with malaria.

The Pussycat Doll singer has finally given up her obsession with wearing pre-selected Victoria Beckham dresses and this time opted for a colourful Tibi Pre-Fall 2010.

Yesterday was gloriously sunny day in London. I would’ve loved her to have worn one of the amazing Tibi Spring 2010 looks, but thanks to the vibrant yellow print on her dress it doesn’t quite feel like a Fall dress.

The singer wore YSL Y bow slingbacks which complemented her black bow belt.

    Olivia Palermo Loves…Bensoni

Olivia Palermo is a style icon, New York socialite, star of “The City”.

What I love about her style is that she never seems to go for the obvious and she’s always supports up-and-coming designers.

    Her current favourite is Bensoni.

The design duo – Benjamin Channing Clyburn and Sonia Yoon – create flirty, feminine statement pieces which suit Olivia’s style so it’s no wonder she’s head-over-heels in love.

Back in February she wore a sky blue Bensoni dress contrasting it with black tights and a black patent belt.

Her hooded Paddington Bear-esqe Bensoni coat was the perfect winter warm-up look to keep the cold weather at bay during London Fashion Week.

Olivia caused a bit of a ruckus wearing a Bensoni Spring 2010 ensemble to the “Guess By Marciano & ELLE Event” which you would’ve seen on “The City”.

I love the combination of colours, patterns and texture with this look. It may seem like a lot is going on, but it all works well together.

Finally my favourite Bensoni look was the leopard print silk dress she wore to the Elie Saab Fall 2010 Couture show.

I met her at this show, and she’s was such a sweetie. That show really gives her a bad rep.

I loved her accessories with this look. The leopard print belt is particularly interesting. It could’ve been overkill, but for me it’s perfection.

“Knight and Day” Munich Premiere – Cameron Diaz In Bottega Veneta

Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise were in Munich, Germany last night for the premiere of their new movie, “Knight and Day”.

Cameron looked stunning wearing a white Bottega Veneta dress from the Spring 2010 dress with a pleat which falls from her shoulder.

Her body looks amazing – what’s new?

I love everything about the look from the contrasting black belt, to her nude Pierre Hardy peep-toe heels.

The look has be modified to suit Cameron’s style as it’s shorter and fitted.

I can’t picture Cameron wearing this dress like the model, but I prefer the fit and styling with the looser belt.

Who Wore Isabel Marant Better? Jessica Alba or Maggie Gyllenhaal

Last month two very stylish mums were spotted wearing this Isabel Marant denim dress.

Jessica Alba wore her peasant dress with black combat boots on a brunch date with her family in LA.

A few days later Maggie Gyllenhaal was spotted wearing the same dress whilst strolling through the West Village in New York City with her young daughter.

She paired her mini dress with maroon shorts, red sandals and a beige cardigan.

I prefer how Jessica wore this as a dress compared to Maggie who’s wore it as a top, so Jessica wins for me.

    Mulberry’s LA Pool Party

Emma Hill, Mulberry’s Creative Director, hosted a dinner in LA last night to introduced Hollywood starlets to the Mulberry Fall 2010 collection.

The dinner was followed by a pool party with special guest DJ Alexa Chung.

I’m not Alexa’s biggest fan, but I do love her look.

Whilst Rachel Bilson is wearing her denim shorts with simple tees, Alexa opted for a sexy satin Mulberry shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

It not a combo I would’ve thought of, but it really works for Alexa.

Her look was paired with black strappy sandals and her Mulberry leopard print ‘Alexa’ bag.

Cat Deeley wore a sequined LBD with a leather jacket and Mulberry Maggie booties.

Kate Bosworth let her accessories do the talking by sporting a Mulberry ‘Margret’ leopard print calf skin bag.

Shenae Grimes was my favourite at this event.

She looked cute in a Mulberry chain dress dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

I much prefer the her champagne coloured dress to the runway black.  I love this look so much I’ll ignore her ankle boots.

Molly Sims wore Mulberry Raglan dress which had a wild print all over. The dress paired with muted silver heels.

I love the flare of Jessica Stroup’s Mulberry skirt with crush sequins, but I don’t think she didn’t the skirt much justice with the halter and cardi.
