On 'The Other Woman' Set With Leslie Mann In Altuzarra & Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann were spotted on the set of their latest movie ‘The Other Woman’ in New York City on Tuesday.

The wardrobe designer decked the ladies out in some beautiful high-end pieces, with Cameron’s faux baby bump dressed with a loose-fitted smock dress which was styled with a gold-chain-accented ‘Falabella’ clutch by designer BFF Stella McCartney, and Alaia shoes.

Leslie also wore a summery frock from Altuzarra’s Spring 2013 collection; the mixed-print dress features a boardroom-striped top with a pointy collar and an abstract-print skirt, accented with a violet-blue sash draped across the waist.

Her look was also styled with summer accessories including on-trend white pumps and a light-blue Gucci shoulder bag.

I covet both looks. Do you?

Hair Style How-To: The Faux Bob

Hair Style How-To The Faux Bob

Between the magic of hair extensions and pro hairstyle tricks like the faux bob, it often seems like celebrities have some magic up their sleeves for making their hair grow faster. Well, if like many celebs, you would also like to sport shorter hair for a night, we’ve got details straight from the pros on one of those celebrity hair tricks: The Faux Bob.

Both Emma Watson and fellow actress Haley Bennett wore their hair in faux bobs to the Los Angeles premiere of ‘The Bling Ring,’ and we got Haley’s stylist, Mara Roszak, to break down exactly how she created the shortened ‘do on Haley’s long red locks.

First, Mara applied Leonor Greyl Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice to Haley’s wet hair, and then she ‘rough dryed’ it, which simply means getting the bulk of the moisture out of wet hair by flipping the head over and shaking the hair with your hand. No tools, no precision, just getting hair dry.

Next, Mara curled small sections of the hair with a one-inch barrel curling iron and wrapped them into pin curls, and let them sit for 10 minutes.

Then she removed the curls and brushed them out with a Mason Pearson All Boar Brush (a favorite among hairstylists!) and back-combed at the roots to create some volume.

Then came the pinning: Working in small sections, Mara started at the ends of Haley’s hair and rolled it under and up until she reached the scalp, and then pinned. Once it was all pinned in place, shorter pieces around the face were pulled loose to create a more natural look.

For longer hair like Haley’s, this method of creating a curled ‘bob’ helps create a more textured, realistic look. But for shorter hair, you can create a sleek ‘bob,’ like Emma’s, by simply eliminating the curling process.

Celebrities Love…Denim Overalls

Celebrities Love Denim Overalls

Overalls: Just call them the comeback kid. This blast-from-the-past may not conjure visions of sartorial splendor. But, like it or not, the denim dungarees are staking another claim on the fashion farm.

Designers like 3.1 Phillip Lim and Isabel Marant, even MM6 Maison Martin Margiela, have recently elevated the lowly one-piece, taking it from fashion outcast to front-row status, with their own unique interpretations.

No longer a relic of the wonky, rebellious 90s, this riff on rural workwear has once again traipsed into the street-style vocabulary—and the closets—of some of today’s hottest starlets.

Keira Knightley recently indulged her inner tomboy in a cool and comfortable look featuring ” target=”_blank”>Citizens of Humanity’s ‘Quincy’ rolled-up overalls and sneakers, worn with the ultimate contradiction—a Chanel quilted, cross-body bag.

Also going for a low-key and luxe mix, Alexa Chung strapped on a simple black denim pair over a plain white tee, to which she added ballet flats and a Louis Vuitton carryall.

Naturally, Selena Gomez served up a sexy edge with her baggy coveralls, flaunting them over a lace bra. With the pants haphazardly rolled at the bottom and accessorized with a gigantic, nubby scarf and an unzipped black tote, this look gave new meaning to sloppy-chic with its trendster appeal.

Love or loathe?

Nikki Reed In AllSaints – Erik Wahl’s Book Launch

Nikki Reed In AllSaints - Erik Wahl's Book Launch

Nikki Reed made a guest appearance and performed at Erik Wahl’s book launch held at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday feeling a bit grey.

Head-to-toe grey, in fact, selecting several shades of grey ranging from slate to ash and charcoal.

Common connotations of grey range from old age or boring, but nothing is aging or depressing about her youthful AllSaints look.

She paired an ombre leopard-print blazer with cute darker-grey leopard-print shorts and a striped cropped top.

Usually the notion of pairing a leopard-print blazer and shorts would be frowned upon, but it works here because of the ombre blazer.

Taupe AllSaints pumps, a simple envelope clutch, and jewels from her own Mattlin Era collection completed her effortless look.

Emma Watson for W Magazine June/July 2013

Emma Watson W Mag June July 2013

Emma Watson looks very grown up and gorgeous on the cover of W magazine’s June/July 2013 issue wearing a Louis Vuitton grey jacket with floral appliqués which was shot by Michael Thompson and style by the brilliant Edward Enninful.

The 23-year-old actress, who has seemingly made her transition from child actress to a adult star, was also captured wearing Chanel, Erdem and yet more LV inside the mag.

Emma talks to W about her childhood, her character in ‘The Bling Ring’, her Hollywood crush and her first movie memory.

On her childhood: “I’ve always been a very serious child. I remember being 13 and girls in my class saying ‘So-and-so is going to kiss so-and-so on the school fields.’ I said, ‘That’s stupid. They’re too young for it to matter—he doesn’t even love her, and that’s just a waste of time.’ It’s amazing that I had any friends!…I’ve never wanted to grow up too fast: I wanted to wear a sportsbra until I was 22! The allure of being sexy never really held any excitement for me. I’ve never been in a terrible rush to be seen as a woman.”

On the first movie she remember’s seeing: Pretty Woman. I was 7, which was way, way too young. That was when I started loving Julia Roberts and American movies. As a child, I loved being onstage. I loved singing, I loved the lights, I loved the adrenaline. I even loved learning lines. I was completely obsessive. A friend of my mother’s found a tape of me auditioning for Hermione. I wanted to get really, really good at my lines. There was reel after reel, take after take, of me doing the same thing over and over again.

On her character in Bling Ring: “Nicki is so different from me. How do I try and understand a young woman who loves these things so much that she is prepared to commit crimes to have them?…With Nicki, I was really taking on a character. Some of her lines are so crazy and absurd—making sure she wasn’t a parody was a challenge.”

Her Hollywood crush: My cinematic crush has been pretty much the same since I was 12: Kevin Costner. I met him in an elevator the other day, and I couldn’t even speak. He said hello, because he is lovely like that, and I couldn’t say anything back.
