Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture Front Row

Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture Front Row

There was as much beauty in the front row as there was on the runway on Wednesday afternoon for the Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture show held in Paris during Couture week.

Paz Vega: The Spanish actress, who has been spending a lot of time stateside, wore a very ladylike Elie Saab frock with lace inserts and a chic peplum waist. Styled with a complementary Elie Saab clutch, she gave her look a fall-like touch by adding burgundy pumps to her look.

Olga Kurylenko: Fellow red carpet regular Olga was also in the front row, opting for a flirtier look, donning a green lace-accented frock styled with matching Elie Saab sandals and the same gold Elie Saab clutch that I also own. A simple ponytail and a watermelon-pink lip colour completed her look.

Which pieces from Elie Saab’s Spring 2014 Couture collection would you like to see on these lovely ladies?

Chloe Sevigny In Kenzo – Sidaction Gala Dinner

Chloe Sevigny In Kenzo - Sidaction Gala Dinner

Chloe Sevigny attended the Sidaction Gala Dinner held at the Pavillon d’Armenonville on Thursday (January 23) in Paris, France.

The actress, who we’ve not seen on the red carpet in a while, wore a Kenzo Spring 2014 double-face black-and-white leather dress styled with black-and-white sandals from the same collection.

Additional accessories included a pebble-leather clutch and a beaded necklace, with a hot-red lip and kempt wavy tresses completing her look.

At times, some of you find it hard to warm to Chloe’s I’m-too-cool-for-school, shabby-chic style, but on this occasion there is less shabby, and a lot more chic.

Do you agree?

Rosario Dawson In Antonio Berardi – ‘Gimme Shelter’ New York Screening

Rosario Dawson In Antonio Berardi - 'Gimme Shelter' New York Screening

Rosario Dawson attended the ‘Gimme Shelter’ screening alongside Vanessa Hudgens on Wednesday (January 22) in New York City.

While I loved Vanessa’s look, I did think it was perhaps too much for a New York premiere.

Rosario’s Antonio Berardi Resort 2014 black-and-white signature fitted dress with flutter sleeves couldn’t be more event appropriate.

Not only that, but I think this sleek and sexy look ranks highly in Rosario’s red carpet hall of fame.

Aside from the dress, the styling is very much on point, working black pumps, a white clutch, a Graziela Gems ear cuff and an EF Collection ring with kohl-rimmed eyes and a retro updo.

Vanessa might have had a better dress, but Rosario was the best dressed at this event.

Essence Magazine’s 5th Annual Black Women In Music Event

Essence Magazine's 5th Annual Black Women In Music Event

The 5th annual Essence Black Women In Music event took place at 1 OAK on Wednesday (January 22) in West Hollywood, California.

Leona Lewis: I haven’t always been a fan of Leona’s style, but here she showcases her curves wearing a gorgeous cobalt-blue one-shoulder frock styled with metallic accessories to complement her waistband.

Michelle Williams: The singer opted for a black-and-white BCBG ‘Patrycia’ jumpsuit featuring a mandarin collar from the Fall 2013 collection. While I love the jumpsuit, the pants are way too long for her.

Emeli Sandé: The British singer added some sparkle to the proceedings wearing a Paule Ka navy neoprene three-quarter-sleeve dress with shell-and-beaded embellishments styled with a sexy pair of lightly embellished blue sandals.

DJ Kiss: Wearing her go-to designer, the DJ wore a Peter Pilotto ‘Corrine’ 3D-effect digital print dress with directional additions of fluted cap sleeves and the curved hem which she styled with all black accessories. Only her fuchsia lip was in danger of upstaging this frock.

Abbie Cornish In Philip Armstrong – ‘RoboCop’ LA Photocall

Abbie Cornish In Philip Armstrong - 'RoboCop' LA Photocall

Abbie Cornish attended the ‘RoboCop’ photocall held at SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills on Thursday (January 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The Australian actress opted for a British designer, wearing a Philip Armstrong, a designer who was highly celebrated at Wednesday night’s National Television Awards.

Her white stretch-jacquard cocktail dress from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection, featuring sheer inserts in the sculptural cut-out panels in the bodice, was styled with event-appropriate nude suede pumps.

A bright pink lip, an updo and Graziela Gems rounded out her look.

More inspiring footwear would’ve taken me from like to love.
