Natalie Portman In Christian Dior Couture – ‘Thor: The Dark World’ Paris Premiere

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior Couture - 'Thor The Dark World' Paris Premiere

Following the world premiere in London yesterday evening, Natalie Portman looked divine this evening on the red carpet at Le Grand Rex for the Paris premiere of ‘Thor: The Dark World’.

She wore a Christian Dior Spring 2013 v-neck nude frock featuring a black overlay accented with yellow-and-orange blossom sequin appliqués.

Her dainty frock was styled with gold strappy Charlotte Olympia ‘Gilda’ leather-free sandals, barely there makeup, a black Richard Mille timepiece and sleek tresses.

I had a refreshing feeling wash over me when I saw this look and that because when it comes to Dior Natalie tends to favour their gowns.

This shorter style might also come as a refreshing change for those of you who are no longer enamoured by the Portman/Dior relationship.

Is that the case?

Alyssa Milano In Alexander McQueen – The Today Show

Alyssa Milano In Alexander McQueen - The Today Show

Alyssa Milano was spotted headed to NBC Studios in New York City earlier today for a guest appearance on ‘The Today Show’.

It hasn’t been a fruitful 24 hours for Ms Milano fashion-wise.

The Peter Pilotto dress which she wore yesterday evening made her look boxy; stumpifying her petite frame, and it’s a case of here we go again with this Alexander McQueen look.

The dress itself is beautiful with its meticulous quilting bringing plush dimension to the luscious honey-coloured dress that fits through the hips before flaring into a flounced and scalloped hem, but it makes her look top heavy.

Plus I don’t get the shoes. The marine-blue cut-out ankle booties are in stark contrast with the rest of her look.

Maybe she should’ve selected heels in a rich maroon hue to match her lip colour on this occasion.

What do you think? Is Alyssa trying too hard, or do you not mind her experimenting to find a style that works best for her?

Sun Li In John Galliano – Jimmy Choo Shanghai Event

Sun Li In John Galliano - Jimmy Choo Shanghai Event

Sun Li opted for a colourful, fashion-forward look for the Jimmy Choo commercial event hosted at the Massenet Hotel in Shanghai, China on Tuesday evening.

Known for wearing hot off the runway looks, she made a strong style statement wearing a John Galliano Spring 2014 yellow printed dress (which is slightly modified from the runway version) styled with a black patent leather belt and bright red Jimmy Choo ‘Farah’ booties with a twinkling ankle strap.

Having nailed the print trend while rocking an asymmetrical hem – which is having a bit of a moment – Li completed her bold style statement with a freshly tousled pixie cut, neutral lips and classic cat-eye liner.

Do you think she should’ve chosen either a neutral shoe or a bold, red lip to match the Jimmy Choo booties?

Anja Rubik In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Apart’ Anniversary

Anja Rubik In Elie Saab Couture - 'Apart' Anniversary

Anja Rubik attended a cocktail party in Warsaw, Poland to celebrate the anniversary of ‘Apart’ yesterday evening.

The Polish model wore a beautiful silvery-grey Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture cape gown with Chantilly lace panels, rich embroidery and an open back.

Deciding on a sweeping updo and pretty pink lip colour, she accessorized with complementary jewels, a silver embellished Corto Moltedo clutch and taupe sandals with a pop of colour via her red nails.

Having opened and closed several Elie Saab shows and featured many ad campaigns for the brand; it’s no wonder she has the honour of being one of the few to wear look from this collection.

As expected, she wears it very well.

Alexis Bledel In BCBG Max Azria – ‘Us And Them’ Series Screening

Alexis Bledel In BCBG Max Azria - 'Us And Them' Series Screening

Alexis Bledel dressed the part of blushing beauty for the ‘Us & Them’ series screening hosted during the 9th Annual New York Television Festival at the SVA Theater in New York City on Tuesday evening.

The actress shied away from the typical colour palettes of fall choosing a BCBG Max Azria ‘Bianca’ pale pink dress with black trims and floral detail at the neckline – it was a beautiful, classic choice.

Alexis played up the youthful innocence of the look with subtle touches like mirco studded black pumps and a cocktail ring; deciding on a makeup palette accentuating a rosy glow, full lips, baby doll lashes with loosely styled waves and blunt bangs completing her look.

Between the Greek-inspired ruching of the bodice to the just above-the-knee skirt length, she played it safe and succeeded in looking polished and pretty for the premiere of her new television project.
