Roberto Cavalli Creates Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Bangerz World Tour’ Wardrobe

Roberto Cavalli Creates Miley Cyrus' 'The Bangerz World Tour' Wardrobe

Beyoncé Knowles had the most extensive wardrobe for her ‘Mrs Carter Show’ world tour, with everyone from Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, Peter Dundas for Emilio Pucci, Ralph & Russo, David Koma and many more providing her on-stage bedazzled costumes.

Kanye West was masked by Maison Martin Margiela and most recently Drake opted for custom Calvin Klein pieces for his ‘Nothing Was the Same’ tour.

The latest celebrity – designer collabo is Miley Cyrus and Roberto Cavalli.

The animal-print-loving designer created several looks specifically for her ‘The Bangerz World Tour’.

While the nude jumpsuit embroidered with Swarovski crystals creating a nude effect on the body evokes memories of Britney Spears’ MTV Video Music Awards 2000 performance ensemble, the rest is very much Miley; short shorts, crop tops and bralets.

Other pieces include a black zebra patterned embroidered jumpsuit and a leopard print denim jacket paired with matching shorts and bra embroidered with blue dégradé crystals.

Interesting how even the sketches feature Miley’s tattoos.

Kirsten Dunst for L’Oreal Professionnel

Kirsten Dunst -- L'OrealWith a brand new year comes a new set of branded advertising. This year started off with two super exciting announcements by famed hair care brands, L’Oreal Professionnel and Pantene. After much consideration, L’Oreal Professionel has chosen Kirsten Dunst as their first ever spokesperson whereas seasoned supermodel, Gisele Bundchen has signed on as Pantene’s newest ambassador to North America.

In a first for the brand, L’Oreal turned to Hollywood to select their ideal spokesperson. Kirsten Dunst’s perfectly fit the bill as she feels close to the brand and thoroughly appreciates L’Oreal’s stylistic efforts. She recently spoke with Women’s Wear Daily about her thoughts on the evolving brand. “…I admire its commitment to innovation, constantly creating new professional services and products to achieve the most on-trend styles,” says Kirsten.

The radiant star looks stunning in the new campaign in which she sports effortless beach waves, a chocolate smoky eye and bronzed neutral lip. Kirsten’s signature blonde locks and striking looks were previously seen in various advertisements for Bulgari when she appeared as the face for their Mon Jasmin Noir Fragrance in 2011.

Aiming for another notable blonde, Pantene is excited to feature Gisele’s highly covetable blonde tousled locks as their North American Ambassador. Having been the ultimate hair inspiration to many girls, the Brazilian beauty’s impeccably waved hair can now be achieved by the masses. Kevin Crociata, Marketing Director of North American Hair Care at Procter & Gamble noted the qualities that make Gisele both an ideal ambassador and phenomenal person overall. “We want to celebrate Gisele not only for her beauty, but also her genuine passion to empower women to be their best selves,” says Kevin, “she is truly a woman who has it all – not only does she have one of the most iconic heads of hair in the beauty world but she is also a true role model with a huge heart.”

We can’t wait for the upcoming hair looks these blond beauties will be sporting in upcoming campaigns.

Keira Knightley For Harper’s Bazaar UK February 2014

Keira Knightley For Harper’s Bazaar UK February 2014

Keira Knightley covers the February 2014 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK wearing, you guessed it, Chanel, shot by Alexi Lubomirski.

The British star can also been seen wearing a mix of Spring 2014 pieces from Balenciaga, Burberry Prorsum, Hermes, Valentino, Fendi, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney and Bottega Veneta in her editorial. It’s quite a fashion feast.

She talks to the mag about feminism, acting in the ‘boys club’ and why she will never join Twitter again.

Here is what the 28-year-old ‘Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’ actress had to share with the mag:

On feminism: “I think it’s great that the discussions are finally being allowed to be had [about feminism], as opposed to anybody mentioning feminism and everybody going, ‘Oh, f***ing shut up.’ Somehow, it [feminism] became a dirty word. I thought it was really weird for a long time, and I think it’s great that we’re coming out of that.”

On working in the male-dominated film industry: “I go to work at 5.30 in the morning; I wouldn’t get back probably until nine o’clock at night. Most of the guys that I talk to – and I’ve spoken to a lot of guys about it – they say [whispers], ‘My wife does everything.’ You think, ‘Why wasn’t I thinking about this five years ago?’ Hollywood has a really long way to go. I don’t think that anybody can deny that, really, and I think as much as you are getting more women playing lead roles… they’re still pretty few and far between.”

On why she was only on Twitter for 12 hours: “It made me feel a little bit like being in a school playground and not being popular and standing on the sidelines kind of going, ‘Argh.’”

2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards Red Carpet Roundup

We’ve seen a roundup of the men, so here is a roundup of the ladies who attended the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica, California alongside the likes of Cate Blanchett, Amy Adams and Lupita Nyong’o.

Meryl Streep: Like Julia Roberts – her red carpet pal – and Matthew McConaughey, Meryl opted for sunglasses on the red carpet, much to my chagrin. The actress wore a Stella McCartney embroidery-detailed navy dress with flared sleeves styled with black tights, Ferragamo pumps and a fold-over Louboutin clutch. I’m rarely impressed with her red carpet looks and this is no exception. I wish Helen Mirren’s stylist would take Meryl under his wing.

Oprah Winfrey: The TV host wore an emerald green Azzedine Alaia dress, belted at the waist to accentuate her hourglass shape, which she styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Abigail Breslin: Her pastel-grey Badgley Mischka gown makes her look much older and the colour is washing her out. The only thing I like here is the hair and makeup.
