Hilary Swank In Antonio Berardi – Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Hilary Swank In Antonio Berardi - Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Hilary Swank attended the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday (November 8) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore an Antonio Berardi Resort 2015 navy double breasted suit dress designed with an easy sensibility, and given a contemporary update with a pleated skirt.

While I really like her mannish-feminine look styled with silver accessories and a striking red lip, the lopsided hair do, which was in danger or ruining Felicity Jones’ look, pulls this look down for me.

I am hoping this hair trend started and died on this night.

Emily Blunt In Michael Kors – Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Emily Blunt In Michael Kors - Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Emily Blunt attended the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday (November 8) in Hollywood, California.

As always she looked drop dead gorgeous, wearing a custom fuchsia gown from Michael Kors decked out with a geranium-embellished bodice signalling that this hails from the Spring 2015 collection.

That colour, that body, that body in that gown: it all makes up yet another jaw-dropping look for Emily.

What really throws me over the edge with delight is the emerald-green Rauwolf clutch. The jewel tone not only complements the bodice but I also love the way it pops against the skirt.

Dana Rebecca rose-pink earrings, a radiant fuchsia-pink lip and a sleek slicked-back ‘do completed her look.

Needless to say, she was my favourite at this event.

Blake Lively In Michael Kors – Martha Stewart American Made Summit

Blake Lively In Michael Kors - Martha Stewart American Made Summit

Martha Stewart and Blake Lively attended the Martha Stewart American Made Summit on Saturday (November 8) in New York City.

While Martha worked a white blouse, leather pants and open-top booties look, which shocks in a surprisingly good way (who knew she had this in her?), Blake looked every inch the picture of loveliness in her white Michael Kors Spring 2015 outfit.

Styling her white knit top and embroidered skirt with an aqua beaded necklace and blush Louboutins, she adds a new dimension to this pretty simple look.

While I may be inclined to agree with those who feel the necklace perhaps dominates the look and shouldn’t have been considered, this is yet another chic maternity look from Blake.

Karolina Kurkova In Toni Maticevski – 2014 GQ Men Of The Year Award

Karolina Kurkova In Toni Maticevski - 2014 GQ Men Of The Year Award

Karolina Kurkova attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards held at Komische Oper on Thursday (November 6) in Berlin, Germany.

The model wore a Toni Maticevski sculptural dress for a sexy and unique after-dark choice.

In a sporty mesh fabric, it still retains a sense of femininity with a fitted bodice, flared skirt and cut-outs at the shoulders.

Never one to let us down in the shoe department, she donned a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti tri-colour sandals which also had mesh detailing.

Zendaya Coleman In Christian Siriano – Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Zendaya Coleman In Christian Siriano - Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 2014 Governors Awards held at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday (November 8) in Hollywood, California seemed very much like a grown-up-folks affair, yet Zendaya Coleman more than held her own on this red carpet.

Never one to fade into the background, the actress/singer wore a Christian Siriano Fall 2014 strapless gown with a cream bodice and skirt infused with plenty of Siriano drama.

Not only does it feature an asymmetrical slit, but it’s also flocked with feathers for added drama, though not the usual confusing high-intensity drama we are used to from Zendaya.

She was cool, calm and composed, allowing the dress to do all the talking, effortlessly styling the look with a bold red lip to match her Louboutins.

I think she’s very much getting into a more consistent stride now.
