Eva Longoria In Zuhair Murad - Global Gift Gala Mexico

Eva Longoria attended the Global Gift Gala Mexico held at the St Regis Hotel on Thursday (January 30) in Mexico City, Mexico.

She wore a Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 gown featuring a decadent black silk top and white contoured skirt which flowed out into a chiffon train.

The high neckline, lace accents and embellishments are just some of the noteworthy nuances I find captivating about this look.

As you know, I only usually favour Eva’s red carpet looks when she attends Cannes Film Festival, but I love the elegance of this look, which is well styled.

Working a bouffant half-up, half-down ‘do not only shows off the embellished neckline but it also gives the petite star some height.

Are you as enamoured by this look as I am, or is it same old same old Eva for you?

Taylor Swift In Zuhair Murad - Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Party

Taylor Swift joined Jennifer Hudson on the red carpet for Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy Gala event held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday (January 25) in Beverly Hills, California.

Sticking to what she does best; short and sparkly, the singer wore a Zuhair Murad Resort 2013 black long sleeve opaque beaded dress with open back and flounce hemline.

Her flirty frock was styled with Bionda Castana ‘Langley’ black suede heels, swapping out her favoured red lip for a pretty pink lip shade.

Kohl-rimmed eyes, onyx drop earrings and a wavy side ponytail rounded out her look.

Sofia Vergara In Zuhair Murad - InStyle and Warner Brothers Golden Globes Awards Party

Sofia Vergara opted for all-out glamour at the InStyle and Warner Brothers Golden Globes post-party held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 12) following her dramatic Zac Posen red carpet gown for the main event earlier in the evening.

This is an actress who certainly knows how to make an entrance so it’s only fitting that Sofia wore a heavily embellished Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 Couture gown for the occasion.

With a plunging neckline, body-hugging cut and slinky mermaid silhouette, this is a classic style from Sofia. Undoubtedly she looks stunning, but it’s just a shame we have seen this kind of look from Sofia many times before.

I really wish Sofia had tried something new, just like she has done in her Zac Posen stunner on the Golden Globes red carpet. Still, the bright pink lip saves the day- it’s such a great colour for a party and suits Sofia perfectly.

Kate Beckinsale In Zuhair Muard Couture - 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Kate Beckinsale looked gorgeous arriving at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverley Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 12) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress was wearing an embellished silver dress from Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 Couture, a clutch by Edie Parker and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz and Chopard.

Kate frequently wears this strapless, mermaid silhouette but it’s hard to fault her for not mixing it up when she wears it so well.

The pattern on the dress is beautiful, highlighting Kate’s slim waist and the décolletage is just right.

She looks like an absolute bombshell.

Nieves Alvarez In Zuhair Murad Couture, Andrew Gn & Pinko - Solo Moda

Nieves Alvarez ushered in the New Year during her ‘Solo Moda’ show over the weekend with the same lofty level of style that won her the Best Dressed International Star of 2013.

On Saturday (January 4), the model host exclusively strutted out a trio of tantalizing Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 Couture designs, each one taking the notion of lace to a new level.

First, she was the epitome of full-on glamour in a snow-queen-worthy, icy-blue gown, embellished with a sea of sparkling, crystallized branches and finished with an illusion neckline and a sheer lacy sleeve.

Following this floor-scraping confection, Nieves debuted a knee-length nude design, emblazoned with black flowery embroidery. The nude effect and the plunge detail oozed sultriness, while the peplum waist and classic silhouette was sophistication personified.

The calling card for her final look of the day was its dreamy colour of deep lilac. Of course, despite the refined sweetheart neckline and cocktail length, the sheer nature of the embroidered purple filigree had sexiness written all over it.

Xu Qing wearing a Zuhair Murad Couture ballgown was your best dressed this week.

I opted for Juliette Lewis in Monique Lhuillier. I love the colour of the gown, the voluminous skirt, plus the decorative styling which included a vintage bejewelled headband.

The look was bold without being brash and fun without being comical.

As for the fellas, James Marsden in Dolce & Gabbana was the clear winner. On trend in blue, he mixed things up wearing a dual-colour navy-and-grey suit, looking incredibly dapper and handsome in the process.

Xu Qing In Zuhair Murad Couture - Van Cleef & Arpels Dinner

Xu Qing swept onto the scene at the Van Cleef & Arpels dinner, held in Beijing, China over the weekend.

The Chinese actress wore a nude silk Zuhair Murad cap-sleeve ball gown, hand-embroidered in electric blue twigs, from the Fall 2013 Couture collection.

The epitome of gothic glamour, the elegance of this confection was intensified with the more sinister edge of those barren tree branches that twisted across the entire design. The skirt’s frothy tulle overlay delivered a sense of fairytale enchantment.

While the dress may have been a dark beauty, Xu complemented it with a lighter touch—minimal jewels, save for a cocktail ring, accessorized the look whilst a petal pink lip added a soft note.
