Jennifer Lopez In Zuhair Murad – ‘Home’ LA Premiere

Jennifer Lopez In Zuhair Murad - 'Home' LA Premiere

Jennifer Lopez attended the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Home’, held at the Regency Village Theatre on Sunday (March 22) in Westwood, California.

The actress wore one of her favourite designers, Zuhair Murad, selecting a baby-blue long sleeve tulle and lace cocktail dress with floral beading and embroidery, from the Fall 2015 collection.

I’m sure many will say this is too twee for the actress, and while a part of me would agree, I also have to say I adore this sweet offering.

It was refreshing not to see the overtly sexy side of Jennifer – as this was an animated movie and her kids were there – and for me, it was the right look for the occasion and setting.

Styled with a gold clutch, she added yet more bedazzlement to her look via her Christian Louboutin crystal-embellished Follies Strass pumps.

Maggie Q In Zuhair Murad – ‘Insurgent’ New York Premiere

Maggie Q In Zuhair Murad - ‘Insurgent’ New York Premiere

Maggie Q joined her co-stars on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Monday (March 16) in New York City for the ‘Insurgent’ New York premiere.

The newly engaged actress smouldered wearing a spotlight-stealing Zuhair Murad long sleeve black gown.

While you may be looking at this from an angle of this being overtly sexy, I love how the corded lace bodice has a futuristic feel which is perfectly in tune with the movie.

A black Lee Savage ‘Space’ clutch and wavy tresses completed her effortlessly stunning look.

Blanca Suarez In Zuhair Murad Couture – ‘Perdiendo el Norte’ Madrid Premiere

Blanca Suarez In Zuhair Murad Couture - 'Perdiendo el Norte' Madrid Premiere

Blanca Suarez attended the ‘Perdiendo el Norte’ premiere held at Capitol Cinema on Thursday (March 5) in Madrid, Spain.

The Spanish beauty wore a Zuhair Murad Spring 2014 Couture white tuxedo-inspired gown, which I love, but I was really disappointed by Blanca’s styling.

The shoes and the clutch don’t complement this chic offering. Simple no-fuss accessories would’ve worked so much better.

I also found that leaf belt obstructive. A thin belt or no belt at all would’ve provided the perfect finishing touch.

Do you agree?

Blanca Suarez In Zuhair Murad – Fotogramas Awards

Blanca Suarez In Zuhair Murad - Fotogramas Awards

Blanca Suarez attended the Fotogramas Awards ceremony held at Joy Eslava on Monday (March 2) in Madrid, Spain.

The actress wore a Zuhair Murad black sheer gown featuring an explosion of colourful floral embroidery that put a spring into this elegant gown’s step.

I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t think this dress was Valentino at first as it possesses the dainty ladylike qualities you don’t always associate with Zuhair Murad, who usually comes to mind upon sight of an overtly sexy gown that the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio adore.

Confidently displaying an air of charisma and grace, this look was one of my favourites from this event, not only for the colours and Blanca’s poise but also for her styling.

I’m sure you’ll agree this look is much improved over her Film Independent Spirit Awards effort.

Rita Ora In Zuhair Murad Couture – 2015 BRIT Awards

Rita Ora In Zuhair Murad Couture - 2015 BRIT Awards

Rita Ora was back in London after a busy Oscar weekend for the 2015 BRIT Awards held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 25).

My issue with Rita is that I find her frustratingly inconsistent.

She stunned on the Oscars red carpet, made us question a lot of things upon sight of her butt cheek in Donna Karan Atelier, and here, at least for me, she wore her best look of the three, looking amazing in Zuhair Murad Couture.

Oozing sexy appeal in a very chic and elegant way, this Spring 2015 Couture bronze silk tulle jumpsuit with plunging neckline and cascading crystal and sequin embroidery doesn’t scream try-hard.

I’m singing hallelujah for the continual omission of the red lip – it would’ve been so brash here – and the simple styling.

This is yet another check off my red carpet wish list that I wanted to see on Jennifer Lopez.

Ironically, the dress I had picked for Rita Ora was the dress Jennifer Lopez wore to the Vanity Fair party.
