Margot Robbie In Zimmermann – 2018 G’Day USA Los Angeles Black Tie Gala

Margot Robbie was also at 2018 G’Day USA Los Angeles Black Tie Gala , where she joined fellow Aussies Rose Byrne, Emilie de Ravin, and Ruby Rose.

Designer Nicky Zimmermann was inspired by photos of her parents’ honeymoon on Queensland’s Gold Coast for her Spring 2018 collection.

And, I couldn’t be happier that Margot introduced that vibrant, breezy aesthetic to the red carpet whilst paying homage to an Australian designer.

I was completely charmed by the girly romance of this floral-power-printed frock, which despite its retro-inspired mood felt completely fresh and modern, as well.

Letting the accordion-pleated waist of the dress stand on its own, the ‘I, Tonya’ star styled the look in an equally sweet-chic manner, with her metallic clutch and sandals along with golden-yellow eye shadow and pinned-back waves.

Did she win you over this time out?

Lily Collins In Zimmermann – Film Independent 2018 Spirit Awards Press Conference

Lily Collins stepped out at the Film Independent 2018 Spirit Awards press conference on Tuesday (November 21) in West Hollywood, California.

There is an ethereal prettiness to the Zimmermann Spring 2018 dress with the soft pastel blue print and the lacy hem.

What makes the frock truly memorable for me is the alluring undertone the slits give it.

There are many who are fatigued with the mere suggestion of a cut-out, but these ones feel fresh, especially with the addition of the crisscross detail.

The placement might not be perfect, but I appreciate the innovation, and find they work well with the rest of the dress.

White pointed-toe pumps completed the whimsical style.

Margot Robbie In Zimmermann – Nissan Futures 3.0 – The Car and Beyond

When it comes to red carpet fashion, Margot Robbie doesn’t appear to be pushing the right buttons for you at present.

Her latest look saw her don a Zimmermann Fall 2017 two-piece look featuring Native American-inspired stripes to the Nissan’s Futures 3.0 event on Monday (October 2) in Oslo, Norway.

I’m not usually a fan of step hems, but when paired with the chunky boots the look is given a cool edge and releases the silhouette from its maxi restrictions.

Love or loathe?

Refinery29’s 29Rooms Event

Refinery29 hosted an interactive funhouse of style, culture, and technology in New York City on Thursday (September 7), where a number of PYTs came out to play at this 3rd annual 29Rooms event.

Larsen Thompson: I absolutely love how Larsen used her look to echo the whimsy of the event. Her Arianne Elmy blouse with ruffled statement sleeves was perfectly balanced to the edgier, sleek shine of the Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Fall 2017 trousers—all topped off with Alchimia Di Ballin ‘Kari’ boots for a retro-forward finish.

Shay Mitchell: Shay let the bold print of this Fausto Puglisi Resort 2018 oversized jacket do the talking. There was something about the fit that threw me off, though, as it appeared slightly haphazard. The chain necklaces also remained unnecessary.

Yara Shahidi In Zimmermann & Rodarte – 2017 MTV VMAs

Yara Shahidi also opted for two stylish looks for the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (August 27), with asymmetry her red carpet M.O.

The first was a sleek Zimmermann gold gown which may have suffered with some creases at the waist, yet she still looked utterly radiant.

This was my favourite of the two.

Her Rodarte Fall 2017 pearl embellished bustier top and skirt possessed plenty after-party appeal. I love how fresh and youthful this look is.

However, looking at both ensembles, my feeling is that her Rodarte look would’ve looked better with her rose-gold Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Darcie’ sandals.

harper by Harper’s BAZAAR September Issue Party

More starlets were on the guest list for the harper by Harper’s BAZAAR September Issue party on Tuesday (August 22) in West Hollywood, California, joining cover girl Nina Dobrev along with Kat Graham, Julianne Hough, and Jessica Szohr.

Victoria Justice: Bringing a party frock out to play, Victoria donned a little Milly number that was cocktail-festive with its tinsel-like, golden metallic effect. Jimmy Choo pumps were more standard-issue, but with the pared-back styling, the flirty dress took top billing.

Claire Holt: Claire kept it simple in a Zimmermann wrap dress in a rich burgundy hue that heralded in thoughts of the fall season. Beach-y waves and Stuart Weitzman black sandals ensure the mood stayed lighter, though. Some of the creases in the dress made it seem just a tad less polished than it come have been, but it still put forth an effortless, breezy vibe.

Laura Marano: Some may be slightly put off by the visible nude underlining, but I loved this mesh, figure-skimming dress for its elegant refinement and subtle allure.

FYC Event For Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’

A trio of lovelies were at the FYC event for Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ on Monday (August 14) in LA.

Elisabeth Moss: We often feel Elisabeth Moss can do so much better when it comes to her style, and while this sequin pussy-bow Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2016 dress was very much in keeping with her fashion wheelhouse, it seemed to resonate with a slightly more playful femininity that was refreshing to see on the actress. Her golden curls and luminous makeup added to the effect.

Samira Wiley: I would have loved to have seen this floaty, floral Zimmermann jumpsuit styled with a more delicate sandal.

Alexis Bledel: Anything blue will forever be Alexis’s colour, as even the blue bird print of this Christian Siriano Pre-Fall 2017 dress brought out her own piercing baby blues. I almost want to remove the jacket, but as presented, it held true to the actress’s sense of modest whimsy.
