Runway To Gard du Nord Station – Kylie Minogue In YSL

“Aphrodite” topped the UK album charts this weekend almost 22 years to the week since Kylie Minogue’s debut album entered the chart at the same position.

Despite the success Kylie is still busily promoting her number 1 album in Europe.

This weekend she was spotted arriving at Gard du Nord station to catch a Eurostar train from Paris to London.

She sported a printed chiffon top and YSL Spring 2010 slashed shorts.

YSL did present white leather slash shorts on their Spring 2010 runway, but they didn’t have the ribbon detail on the front like the Kylie’s does.

The rest of her look included retro white sunglasses, gold Jimmy Choo ‘Pecan’ wedges, a gold Chanel quilted bag and a Louis Vuitton suitcase.

Kylie definitely knows how to travels in style.

“Knight and Day” Rio de Janeiro Premiere – Cameron Diaz In YSL

I should be unpacking, but I could help checking to see what I’ve missed.

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are currently in Brazil promoting their new movie, “Knight & Day”.

The first thing that struck me about this picture is that Tom and Cameron are the same height.

I don’t know why it just occurred to me, but I guess I always assumed Cameron was much taller.

Cameron opted to wear a YSL silk-satin wrap dress from the Pre-Fall 2010 collection with black peep-toes heels.

The forest green satin with bow detail is a interesting colour for Cameron, but dress looks a tad too tight.

This is noticeable especially around the hips.

I’m not particularly loving the hair extensions either as they are way too obvious.

What do you think about her dress?

Need to go one size up, or a perfect fit?

Salma Hayek’s Currently Channeling YSL

I’ve long been an admirer of Salma Hayek because she’s loves her curves and dresses to flatter them or show them off.

She fell off the wagon for a while when she first started dating her now husband, but the curvaceous actress shot back to her best recently.

During Cannes Film Festival she was team Gucci, she’s since had an Alexander McQueen phase, now she’s currently channeling YSL – all part of the Gucci Group I don’t need to remind you.

Last night she attended the “Grown Ups” New York Premiere wearing a YSL white strapless dress from the Resort 2011 collection with a ruffled structured detail on the hips.

The dress was accented with a red belt which matched her red YSL Trib Two heels.

A black Bottega Veneta clutch completed her look.

I’m guessing many of you will say she’s too busty for this dress, but will take busty over those turtlenecks she briefly wore on the red carpet last year.

For her appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ this week, Salma opted for a YSL leather vest from the Spring 2010 collection, which paired with black pant and black heels.

Again it show off her assets, but it’s a slick look for a night time show.

I’m waiting for her Bottega Veneta and Stella McCartney phase.

Did Eva Longoria Only Pack One Pair Of Shoes For Cannes?

On this evidence the answer maybe yes.

Eva Longoria arrived at Nice Airport on Wednesday wearing BCBG Max Azria jacket and Max Azria pants.

She paired this look with her blue YSL Trib Two heels which matched her Birkin.

Yesterday she went shopping in Cannes wearing a Hervé Léger by Max Azria Fall 2010 with the Birkin/Trib Two combo again.

Last night she appeared on the “Grand Journal TV Show” wearing an Emilio Pucci Fall 2010 dress from the capsule collection with the same shoes AGAIN.

I’m the world’s worst packer, but even I travel with at least 4 pairs of shoes.

I once read that Eva has Trib Two’s in every colour.

She’s lucky she picked the right pair for this trip as colourwise the heels have worked with her looks so far.

2010 Met Costume Institute Gala – January Jones In YSL

Just when I thought the worst dressed at the Costume Institute Gala was Carey Mulligan, up pops January Jones.

I’m not crazy about the colour of her YSL dress, nor the black embroidery but I could’ve warmed to this look if it wasn’t for those black gloves and her horrific make-up.

Who did her make-up Coco the Clown?

January continues to slide for me.

It’s been a long while since I’ve liked anything she’s worn.

2010 Hong Kong Film Awards – Miriam Yeung In YSL & Versace

Despite many Asian celebs being so close to perfection on the red carpet every time they step out, some of you don’t like the head-to-toe runway looks.

I personally don’t have a problem with copying runway looks, but it’s nice to see celebs put their own twist on looks.

Miriam Yeung did just that at the 2010 Hong Kong Film Awards yesterday.

She paired a green strapless YSL Spring 2010 dress with Versace Spring 2010 heels.

You couldn’t get two more different brands, but I like what Miriam has done here.

We ask for celebs to shake things up and that’s what she’s done.

My only problem is I think she’s wearing too much jewelery.
