Lupita Nyong'o In Vivienne Westwood - Q&A With His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

Lupita Nyong’o attended the Q&A session with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and Ann Curry courtesy of the Lourdes Foundation, held at the California Science Center on Wednesday (February 26) in Los Angeles, California.

Wearing a signature colourful frock, the Oscar nominated actress donned a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Capsule Collection coral, violet and gold silk jacquard sleeveless dress.

Emphasising the hues of her dress, she accessorized her frock with a coral clutch, violet patent leather Christian Louboutin ‘Bat’ pumps and Dana Rebecca Designs ‘Lauren Joy’ earrings.

Some of you haven’t warmed to Lupita’s shoe collection, so how does this pair fare?

Minnie Driver In Vivienne Westwood Anglomania – Extra

Minnie Driver In Vivienne Westwood Anglomania - Extra

Minnie Driver made a guest appearance on ‘Extra’ on Tuesday (February 18) to promote her new NBC show, ‘About A Boy’.

The British actress wore a Vivienne Westwood Anglomania sleeveless silk cowl-neck dress with an irregular hemline featuring a black-and-white paint-splatter print and orange-and-pink polka dots. It’s quite a striking mash-up of prints and colours.

Opting for ladylike black pumps, she considered the magenta hue of her dress when selecting her matching earrings, which are barely seen due to her luscious signature curly tresses tumbling around her shoulders.

Ellie Goulding In Vivienne Westwood – Brit Awards 2014

Ellie Goulding In Vivienne Westwood - Brit Awards 2014

Ellie Goulding joined Jessie J on the red carpet at the O2 Arena in London this evening (February 19) for the Brit Awards 2014.

While the singer was much improved from her showing at the Elle Style Awards, I have to say I’m not quite buying this frothy Vivienne Westwood look on Ellie.

Ellie strikes me as a girl with a bit of an edge, so seeing her in this pretty pink taffeta/tulle floral embroidered frou frou, princess la-la gown is rather odd to me.

Katy Perry is perhaps the only one who can go from edgy to princess-like without skipping a beat.

On the plus side I’m loving the hair and makeup.

Katy Perry In Vivienne Westwood – Elle Style Awards 2014

Katy Perry In Vivienne Westwood Gold Label - Elle Style Awards 2014

Katy Perry celebrated alongside the great and good of the fashion industry at the 2014 Elle Style Awards, held at one Embankment in central London (February 18).

Katy chose iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood to accept her Elle Woman of the Year award. And what a fabulous dress to acceot such an award.

As can be expected from Westwood, the Gold Label Capsule Collection ‘Prestige’ dress in silk ivory rose print is cut exceptionally and makes Katy more curvaceously sexy than I’ve see her before.

The floral print is light, feminine and pretty which helps from over-dramatizing the look.

To finish, Katy added Christian Louboutin ‘Body Strass’ jeweled pumps for a contemporary spin and a red polish to channel some retro Elizabeth Taylor glamour.

The only aspect I’d change about this look is Katy’s hair, and most specifically her fringe. Is it me or is it just too short?

Lily Allen In Vivienne Westwood – 2014 BAFTAs

Lily Allen In Vivienne Westwood - 2014 BAFTAsLily Allen was no shrinking violet at the 2014 BAFTAs today (February 16) at The Royal Opera House in London, England.

The British songstress, who performed at the awards ceremony, wore her own performance piece on the red carpet in a Vivienne Westwood Couture duchess satin concoction.

She obviously took it upon herself to breathe some vivid life into the evening’s proceedings, colouring outside the lines with this ‘Grande Bubbly Corset Gown’ in coral, pink, orange and magenta.

The spirited, clashing shades of this theatrical ball gown, which was tied with a gigantic bow at the back, weren’t the only attention-grabbers. Lily topped off the look with a pink-fringed hairpiece that radiated from her jet-black updo, along with heavy-handed, flicked black eyeliner.

Sparkling jewels from David Morris were pretty, but easily overpowered by the quirky heft of the ensemble.

It’s almost hard not to at least appreciate the spirit of her funky entrée to the show. It certainly wasn’t boring.
