Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kate Beckinsale blended into the background in blue at an event celebrating the 40th anniversary of Porche design in LA on Tuesday.

The British actress looked beautiful in a sequined Vivienne Westwood dress, though I’m fairly sure she chose it to stand out from the fashionable crowd, not to match the interior.

Nevertheless, the dress, with its quintessentially Westwood neckline and gathering at the waist, suited Kate perfectly – adding volume where needed and skimming her figure to highlight her svelte frame.

The white bag and matching Christian Louboutin mesh pumps added unexpected and refreshing tones to the ensemble.

Viola Davis was back on the red carpet yesterday evening attending CBS’ Teacher’s Rock Special Live Concert Press Room at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.

The Oscar-nominated actress wore a Vivienne Westwood white dress.

Her expertly folded and draped curve-contouring style dress is perfect for her figure.

She doesn’t leave the dress to do all the work as she adds beautiful coral earrings, an oversized green statement ring and gold Brian Atwood ‘Rizzo’ sandals to accessorize her look.

Her signature dark lip colour and wavy hairstyle provided the finishing touches.

The London 2012 Closing Ceremony, which took place at the Olympic Stadium yesterday evening, was not only about British culture and music; it was also about fashion.

A selection of our finest and most iconic supermodels took to the stage showcasing British Fashion to its largest-ever global audience.

They were all dressed in pure gold to celebrate Team GB’s 29-gold-medals haul.

From left to right we have Lily Cole wearing an Erdem gold embroidered and lace cocktail dress with gold Charlotte Olympia ankle-strap pumps.

Stella Tennant rocked a Christopher Kane metal mesh and Swarovski crystal pant suit with a rockstar spiked hairdo. One of my favourites of the night.

Karen Elson was more serene wearing a Burberry gold-lace evening dress with a slit which revealed her Jimmy Choo gold ‘Private’ sandals. Read more…

Jessie J was one of the many performers to take to the stage at the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics on Sunday evening.

She started off by performing her hit single ‘Price Tag’ while sitting in an open-top Bentley which did laps around the Olympic Stadium.

She later joined Tinie Tempah to perform his anthemic song ‘Written In The Stars’ with the set ending with Jessie, Tinie and Taio Cruz all taking to the stage to perform the Bee Gees hit ‘You Should Be Dancing’.

Jessie may have had a makeover, but her love for a one-piece remains strong.

For her first look Jessie wore a nude Vivienne Westwood Gold Label archive jumpsuit with contrasting embroidered flower detailing.

Jessie returned later in the show to join Queen to perform their classic song ‘We Will Rock You’, opting for yet another jumpsuit by Vivienne Westwood.

On this occasion the asymmetrical nude look with embroidered gold sequins only had one sleeve and one leg.

Many of you aren’t too crazy about Jessie’s makeover, but you will be delighted that she hasn’t lost her touch when it comes to performance outfits.

Don’t adjust your computer screens, this is indeed Jessie J who showcased a fresh new look on the red carpet for her gig at The Roundhouse in Camden, London, on Saturday evening.

Sporting wavy, longer locks, she shimmered on the red carpet wearing a Vivienne Westwood mini dress with a plunging neckline.

Frankly, this makeover was way overdue; I not only love this beaded dress and the hair, but I also love the fact that Coco the Clown is no longer applying her makeup.

Her beauty shines through with this fresh-faced look. I look forward to see how the new look develops over the coming months.

Christian Louboutin ‘Palace’ Swarovski crystal-embellished snake sandals, coral nail polish and gold jewels including a nameplate necklace provided the finishing touches.

What do you think of her new look?

You can buy Jessie’s Christian Louboutin heels from Net-A-Porter International.

Eva Longoria arrived at Nice Airport yesterday headed to Monte Carlo, Monaco.

She wore a beautiful summery look which included a yellow collarless blazer, a simple white silk top and white jeans.

She accessorized with Brian Atwood ‘Encanta’ sandals, a tan Hermes Birkin bag, stylish shades and a white  Hermes belt.

Later that same day she was spotted outside the Hotel de Paris in Monaco, en route to the 52nd Monte Carlo Television Festival.

The actress, who has been wearing Victoria Beckham almost exclusively for the last few outings, wore a Vivienne Westwood dress on this occasion.

Her crisp white dress with puffy (overwhelming) sleeves was styled with black ‘Zenith Lux’ ankle-strap heels from her favourite shoe designer Brian Atwood.

The only things I like here are her dress, hair and makeup.

Her choice of accessories with this white dress is baffling to say the least.

I much prefer the airport look.
