Michelle Rodriguez In Vivienne Westwood Couture – ‘The Fate Of The Furious’ New York Premiere

Michelle Rodriguez joined Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at the New York premiere of ‘The Fate Of The Furious’ on Saturday (April 8).

With a silver siren bombshell look, she wore a Vivienne Westwood Couture piece recognizable for the designer’s signature molded bodice and ruched side train.

The gown seemed a bit long, which dragged it down and called the fit into question.

But, I loved the aura of minimalist styling and the sleek beauty that she brought to the flash of the dress, ensuring its sophistication.

Anne Hathaway In Vivienne Westwood Red Label – ‘Colossal’ LA Premiere

Anne Hathaway continued her promo tour for ‘Colossal,’ attending the film’s premiere in LA on Tuesday (April 4).

As with the New York premiere, she donned an all-black ensemble, except she exchanged all-out glamour for a more laid-back Cali vibe in this Vivienne Westwood Red Label Spring 2014 cropped jumpsuit.

Yet there was something about the sleek simplicity of this piece that still made an impression, with the notch cutouts at the faux lapels bringing a distinct sense of subtle allure.

Loose, romantic waves softened the look, bringing another layer of femininity together with the sheer lace Christian Louboutin ‘Hot Jeanbi’ heels.

Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label collection has often been used to allegorically speak to climate change, so it’s not surprising that Anne selected this piece as part of her tour that only features sustainable, vintage, or archival looks.

2017 Oscar Parties Roundup

The 2017 Oscars party circuit was in full tilt with so many other style darlings in attendance at both the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (February 26). Here, a roundup of additional looks from the star-studded evening.

Emily Ratajkowski: Glitz and glam feathers both played a sultry game in this Jonathan Simkhai Fall 2017 plunge gown.

Priyanka Chopra: Speaking of glitter, Priyanka’s black Michael Kors Collection gown would have just been a standard black dress had it not been for the blitz of sequins.

Sia: I had to do a double-take with the singer’s custom Giorgio Armani cantaloupe-hued suit, as the nude-coloured lining provided a strange effect that made her hat-topped head almost appear to be floating.

Charli XCX In Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood – 2017 BRIT Awards

If you wanted ruffles, Charli XCX bought them to the 2017 Brit Awards on Wednesday (February 22) in London, England.

The singer wore this Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood dress from the Spring 2017 collection. If you wondered who Andreas is, he’s Vivienne Westwood’s husband, who has taken the reigns of her fashion House.

I love the colour of this dress, it’s fabulous against dark hair and tanned skin, and the flow of ruffles adds the perfect amount of drama too. Charli made a great choice with her barley-there sandals – those clumpy shoes on the catwalk don’t work with it at all.

Charli finished her look with Vivienne Westwood jewels, and fierce makeup – the red lip makes the perfect clash with the purple dress.

Charli XCX In Vivienne Westwood – 2017 Grammy Awards

Charli XCX was one of the ladies in red at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA.

The silhouette of this strapless gown is undeniably that of a Vivienne Westwood design, with the corseted, fit-and-flare shape and the exaggerated sweetheart neckline.

That said, it came off as rather mature and somewhat dated for the young entertainer who could have likely had a lot more fun with her look on a night such as this.

The gathered train also created a pouf at mid-leg that canceled out any elongating effect.

Aluna Francis In Vivienne Westwood Couture Collection – amfAR New York Gala

Aluna Francis also performed at the 19th Annual amfAR New York Gala on Wednesday (February 8) in New York City.

Like Ellie Goulding, the singer also wore a look from a British designer.

Ruched, draped, corseted; this gown bares all the hallmarks of a signature Vivienne Westwood design.

Even with all those hallmarks in check, this design still possesses a fresh feel, perhaps this was due to the silver lurex fabric or perhaps Aluna’s smouldering persona is selling the look to me.
