Paz Vega In Vionnet – amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Paz Vega kept it simple this evening for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France on Thursday evening..

The Spanish beauty wore a Vionnet Spring 2013 black jersey spaghetti strap dress which featured a deep plunging neckline.

I was really expecting a major comeback look tonight, but this dress isn’t really speaking to me like so many of her other looks in the past. It’s sad to say, but this look is easily forgettable.

The heavy eye makeup and red lip colour also feel too harsh.

Rosario Dawson In Vionnet – amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Rosario Dawson attended amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France on Thursday.

The actress selected a black frock with a thigh-high slit, from the Vionnet Fall 2013 collection, with quarterback shoulders, that was accented with a black woven belt.

Her white pumps and a red clutch save this look, as the belt is failing to give Rosario the defined waist it was set out to achieve.

Carey Mulligan In Vionnet – ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Carey Mulligan attended the premiere for her latest movie, ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’, during Cannes Film Festival working summers hottest trend, black-and-white.

Her white Vionnet Fall 2013 gown with a central slit and keyhole detail features a black satin neckline which she completed with her favourite Brian Atwood ‘Aida’ sandals.

I once again love the simplicity of the look. I don’t know how, but she is totally winning me over with this minimalist run.

Carey not only kept the same hair and makeup from the photocall earlier in the afternoon, but she also opted to not wear any jewels.

Justin is looking so very devilishly handsome his tux.

Zoe Saldana In Vionnet – ‘Star Trek Into The Darkness’ London Premiere

Zoe Saldana also took to the red carpet at The Empire Cinema in London this evening for the ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ premiere.

I am glad I first saw this Vionnet Pre-Fall 2013 gown on my blackberry at dinner, because my immediate reaction was that I didn’t like it.

After digesting my food and this look – in all its glory on my laptop – my feelings have totally changed: I love it, from the black embellished bodice right down to the white high-low skirt.

It’s a risk that paid off, and this is why we have been craving Zoe’s return to the red carpet.

The look may have come off as laden and overworked on some, but when you have Zoe’s poise and confidence, anything is possible.

Christian Louboutin peep-toes, a chic retro updo and a red pout completed her look.

After finding a few faults with her Berlin look, this gets two thumbs and two toes up.

Spanish beauty Nieves Alvarez shined in six stunning outfits over the weekend as she hosted her show ‘Solo Moda’.

Her first look, a sleeveless, v-neck Vionnet Resort 2013 dress, is right on-trend with its color blocking, and is the perfect choice for the stunning model and host to show-off her enviable décolletage and legs. The peep toe, ankle-strapped Jimmy Choo sandals are subtle enough not to compete with the dress’s statement-making colors.

Sticking with the Vionnet Resort 2013 collection, her second look was a chic, ankle-grazing pantsuit. The key to a successful suit is the tailoring, and this is tailored perfectly to fit her body. The sky-high, orange Oscar de la Renta sandals give the black and white ensemble the perfect finishing pop of color.

Her final look of the first day is a simple, flowing Vionnet Resort 2013 dress with a similar shape to the first. The knee-grazing, tulip-shaped skirt looks both effortless and chic at once, and she once again turns to her shoes–peach Christian Louboutin sandals–to get a little punch of color interest.

Juliette Lewis In Vionnet – 2013 Vanity Fair Party

Juliette Lewis attended the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars party, hosted by editor Graydon Carter, on Sunday night.

The actress entered Hollywood’s Sunset Tower in a cream-coloured halter gown by Vionnet.

There was a lot going on with this dress—from the draped wrap skirt that revealed black and neon yellow layers on the side to the nipped-in waist that was tied up with a bow. And who could miss the whimsical fringe of dandelion-like embellishment that floated all across the dress.

Adding to the quirk factor was Juliette’s crimson hair, which was coaxed back into a side ‘do. I’m now wondering if this hair colour is what is bothering me about this look.

One thing’s certain, the dress was a departure from the glitz and glam in many others seen at the after parties.
