Heidi Klum In Vionnet – 3rd Annual InStyle Awards

I was relieved not to have had to roll my eyes when seeing Heidi Klum on the red carpet for the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The model shelved the revealing Dundas, Cavalli dresses she usually reaches for, in favour of something more contemporary.

Her jumpsuit from Vionnet’s Spring 2018 collection which imbued a touch of sex appeal via the sheer panel, was simply styled with stud earrings.

Do you love this refreshing look from Heidi, or do you find yourself objecting to the sheer panel?

Marvel’s The Defenders New York Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The New York City premiere of ‘Marvel’s The Defenders’ brought out a number of additional stars to join Krysten Ritter on the red carpet on Monday (July 31).

Jessica Henwick: I love how Jessica’s Vionnet patchwork motif dress cheekily played into a comic-book theme without compromising any of its modern glamour. Roger Vivier heels along with De Beers jewels and a Hayward House clutch completed the picture.

Deborah Ann Woll: My main issue with this J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2017 metallic lace gown was the aging effect it had on the actress—that, and the visible underlining which further compromised the dress.

Rosario Dawson: Rosario’s version of contemporary superhero consisted of a black jumpsuit tied with a celestial-print sash.

Freida Pinto In Vionnet & Johanna Ortiz – 2017 Maui Film Festival

As the recipient of the 2017 Maui Film Festival’s Shining Star Award, Freida Pinto has been making the rounds in Wailea, Hawaii.

Day 1: On Wednesday (June 21), the actress was at the ‘Taste of Summer’ festival event where she certainly embodied the season with her lemony Vionnet ruffle frock shaped by a grosgrain belt. I love how this relaxed, sunny dress reflected the mood of her surroundings.

Day 2: While making an appearance at the ‘Celestial Cinema’ on Thursday (June 22), Freida wore a lovely Johanna Ortiz Spring 2017 dress that was my favourite of her two ensembles for its sophisticated embrace of island life. From the tropical, palm print, to the halter neckline and the feminine cascades of ruffles, the look was simply made for the aloha spirit.

2017 Oscar Parties Roundup

The 2017 Oscars party circuit was in full tilt with so many other style darlings in attendance at both the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (February 26). Here, a roundup of additional looks from the star-studded evening.

Emily Ratajkowski: Glitz and glam feathers both played a sultry game in this Jonathan Simkhai Fall 2017 plunge gown.

Priyanka Chopra: Speaking of glitter, Priyanka’s black Michael Kors Collection gown would have just been a standard black dress had it not been for the blitz of sequins.

Sia: I had to do a double-take with the singer’s custom Giorgio Armani cantaloupe-hued suit, as the nude-coloured lining provided a strange effect that made her hat-topped head almost appear to be floating.

Ruby Rose In Vionnet – ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ LA Premiere

Ruby Rose attended the LA premiere of ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ on Monday (January 23).

While she started the year on a strong note, the trend did not continue with this Vionnet Fall 2016 gown.

Not only does the dress looked as if it was ripped from the sewing room, unfinished and still hanging with needles and thread, it does nothing to accentuate Ruby’s toned figure.

It also is in major competition with the ink on her arms, as both provide an overwhelming amount of visual stimuli.

Taken alone, her more natural makeup look couldn’t have been more stunning—and a fresh departure from her recent statement lips. But, try as I might, I simply cannot get on board with this look that ultimately had a frumpy effect on the edgy actress.

Anna Kendrick In Vionnet – 2017 Golden Globe Awards

My first reaction when I saw Anna Kendrick in this grey Vionnet gown at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 8) was, “I wish this wasn’t grey”.

But then on reflection, even if this was any of her favoured blush tone hues or a striking violet, I am not sure it would make me love that ‘boob-in-a-sling’ bodice.

Did any of you love this look?
