Chen Shu In Vika Gazinskaya – SM Weekly Awards

We’ve seen Chen Shu stun in gorgeous gowns by Georges Hobeika and Alexander McQueen, but she took a very different approach while attending the SM Weekly Awards in Beijing, China this week.

The actress wore a look from up-and-coming Russian designer, Vika Gazinskaya.

You may remember that Solange Knowles wore the same black turtleneck with a cloud print, but they opted for different skirts.

Chen Shu wore a white raindrop-print A-line skirt offset with undulating godets.

With her hair swept up into a bun, we can see her Giorgio Armani teardrop earrings.

The look was completed with gold Charlotte Olympia ankle-strap platform pumps.

Solange Knowles In Vika Gazinskaya – The Armory Party

Last week, Solange Knowles entertained guests at The Armory Party, held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, with a performance of hits from her latest album.

She wore a Vika Gazinskaya Spring 2013 ensemble. The Moscow-based designer has long been a favourite of Russian street-style stars, Anya Ziourova and Miroslava Duma, proving that ‘peacocking’ during Fashion Week does help lesser-known, up-and-coming designers break into the mainstream.

Solange’s look consisted of a long-sleeved black turtleneck with a white cloud detail, which she styled with a sateen A-line skirt with black and orange cloud doodles.

Giving her look that extra edge, the singer added black-and-white booties from the Sportmax Spring 2013 collection.

Her signature tight curly ‘do and bold red lips completed her fashion-forward performance look.
