Victor de Souza’s Fall 2011 collection wasn’t the structured collection I was expecting.
The collection included a mixture of pretty feminine dresses and gowns presented alongside edgier pieces like the grey top with dramatic cut-out details and more masculine looks included fine tailored blazers paired with wide legged or tapered pants.
Birds seemed to be a theme as they were emblazoned on several of the pieces.
I loved the use of the blooming florets on a bustier dress, as a shoulder details and some pieces had this as a back panel.
Key accessories included elbow-length gloves and black pumps with a square block heel.

The make-up was very dramatic with the models eyebrows masked in favour of a sharp black line around the eye socket.
Models sported a center parting and had their rolled into a low bun.
Favourites: White blazer with floret back detail and one-shoulder teal gown
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Chloe Sevigny, Leighton Meester, Coco Rocha, Jessica Biel and Dita von Teese
