Katy Perry In Versus – DIRECTV’s Sixth Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl After Party

Katy Perry prepared for Super Bowl XLII at DIRECTV’s Sixth Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl After Party in Indianapolis on Saturday night.

The newly blue-haired singer wore a multi-coloured Versus printed pleated cady dress from the Spring 2012 collection.

The dress was worn under a large, purple Mongolian fur shag vest.

If anyone could make this outrageous vest work, it’s Katy, right?

The girl with the blue hair?

No. Unfortunately even Katy can’t make it work, so let’s forget this purple monstrosity ever happened.

Kudos for the matching her purple and blue sandals Christian Louboutin ‘Echasse’ sandals though.

Chloe Moretz In Versus – 2012 AFI Awards

Chloe Moretz made her third consecutive awards show appearance in so many days, attending the 2012 AFI Awards in Beverly Hills this afternoon.

After mature Chanel look at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards last night, the teen actress opted for something more youthful on this occasion.

She wore a Versus Spring 2012 look which consisted of a yellow and black printed t-shirt paired with a pale yellow pleated skirt.

Her sporty, summery ensemble was bizarrely winterized with opaque black tights.

I say bizarre because it was quite a warm day in LA today, but I guess she wore them because of the short length of her skirt and the open pleats.

Versus black heels from the same collection complete the look.

Minka Kelly In Versus – GQ 2011 Men Of The Year Awards

Lads’ mag favourite Minka Kelly attended the GQ 2011 Men of the Year Awards, which were held at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night.

The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ actress is the first celeb to give us a look at the Versus Spring 2012 collection on the red carpet.

I don’t think this sports-inspired dress is quite right for the event but it’s a cute look for Minka, who usually sticks to the same sheath dress red carpet formula.

I wish Minka had opted for the runway heels because the simple (most definitely Brian Atwood) pumps that disappear into the black carpet are too boring for this fun, youthful look.

A ponytail would’ve also perfected this look.

Lea Michele In Versus – Christian Louboutin’s Book Launch Party

Lea Michele attended Christian Louboutin’s book launch party which was hosted by Barneys New York in LA last night.

The ‘Glee’ actress donned a white strapless Versus Resort 2012 leather dress for the occasion.

She has finally broken her black ankle boot run, but these greyChristian Louboutin suede pumps look just as heavy and make her feet look really wide.

I guess I should be thankful that she didn’t follow the recently white pumps trend on this occasion.

A simple ponytail, a cocktail ring and a Kotur clutch completed her look.

Versus Spring 2012

It was clear from the lined, basketball-court-like runway and the monkey bars that the Versus Spring 2012 collection would be a sporty one.

A starting whistle signalled the beginning of the presentation as the first model took to the runway.

We saw a selection of lilac, mint green, lemon, blue and white cheerleader-style uniforms which will have young Hollywood placing their orders right now.

Baseball jackets, striped skirts, hoodies, drawstring pants and basketball shorts were also worked into the sporty theme.

The footwear was far from sporty as models walked the runway in caged heels and Mary Janes.

Sporty messenger bags provided the finishing touches on some of the looks.

Model sported ponytails and their makeup was kept light.

Favourites: Cropped leather jacket with cut-out elbows paired with sheer top and drawstring pants and aqua and lemon dress with striped skirt
