Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Katy Perry hit the pink carpet in Australia on Saturday evening for the Sydney premiere of her docu-movie, ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D’.

The theme so far for this promo tour has been sleek and sexy, saving the whacky ensembles for performances only.

You can’t get more sleek and sexy than a Versace fitted bustier dress.

With dozens of gold bejewelled crucifixes – a nod to her Catholic beliefs, perhaps – covering her nude dress with a net overlay, she styled her look with silver Christian Louboutin ‘Just Picks’ ankle strap pumps.

Like the Givenchy sandals, these pumps became popular very fast. Just in the last week we have seen them also worn by Emma Stone and Olivia Munn.

A selection of silver jewels included a safety pin earring, kohl-rimmed eyes and a rose matte lip colour completed her fabulous look.

As a Versace devotee, I was not surprised to see Elizabeth Banks front row at the Atelier Versace Fall 2012 presentation held at the Ritz-Carlton in Paris, France, on Sunday.

The ‘Hunger Games’ actress wore a Versace Fall 2012 light grey A-Line dress with silver metallic hook-and-eye accents.

Her mini frock was styled with silvery-grey Versace pumps and a matchy silver clutch.

For someone who’s luggage was lost by AirFrance, she looked to be in great spirits.

A voluminous updo, striking cat-eyes and a natural pink lip colour provided the finishing touches to her look.

This may not be as colourful as we have come to expect from Elizabeth, but she still looks awesome.

Rachel Bilson joined her beau Hayden Christensen front row at the Versace Spring 2013 presentation in Milan, Italy, during Menswear Fashion Week on Saturday afternoon.

She looked cute wearing a Versus Spring 2012 printed lavender dress with a black cutout overlay which she styled with a black studded Versus Spring 2012 clutch and Versus Spring 2012 patent-and-pvc pumps.

Hayden looked very handsome wearing a deep blue suit, shirt and tie from the Versace Spring 2012 collection.

I much prefer his cool blue suit over the runway look.

Selena Gomez attended the Alliance For Children’s Rights 3rd Annual Celebrity Right To Laugh event in Hollywood on Tuesday.

Wearing her second Versace look of the week, Selena chose a pale blue Spring 2012 dress with asymmetrical chiffon pleating and a matching studded belt.

Had you said ‘Selena Gomez’ and ‘Versace’ to me a few months ago, I would have laughed, but this girly frock, paired with blush-coloured heels, is the perfect match with the young star.

Loose curls, blue eyeshadow and glossy lips complete the look.

Many of you loved Selena’s midriff-baring Versace look earlier in the week, so how does this second look from the same collection fare?

Versace and ‘Twilight’ fans will remember that Ashley Greene wore this same dress back in October for the ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1’ Stockholm Fan Event.

Selena Gomez opted for a midriff-baring look for the launch of her new fragrance on Saturday at Macy’s in New York City.

The actress wore a Versace Spring 2012 chic starfish and seashell print bustier with matching shorts.

She added a Vanessa Bruno ivory collarless jacket and nude Giuseppe Zanotti pumps which helped elongate her slender legs.

Large gold hoop earrings, pretty makeup, and a vibrant nail shade wrapped up her age-appropriate look.

Selena looked amazing, but I think I would’ve preferred this look as a performance piece. I’m not quite sure it’s a meet-and-greet look.

Naomi Watts joined Jessica Alba and many more on the red carpet for the World Premiere of the Montblanc New And Biggest Concept Store In The World in Beijing, China, last Friday.

The Australian actress wore sexy fitted vintage Versace frock.

Her padded-shoulder nude fitted dress with black leather laser-cut details was styled with black accessories including Versace sandals and a Versace clutch.

She gave us a pop of colour via a red lipstick whilst she sparkled with Montblanc jewels.

The only thing not to my liking here is the hair. I feel it ages her drastically.
