‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ LA Premiere Menswear Roundup

'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' LA Premiere Menswear Roundup

There were some swoon worthy gentlemen who joined Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks and Jena Malone on the red carpet on Monday evening for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ LA premiere

Liam Hemsworth: The handsome actor wore a Dior Homme black wool notch-lapel suit, white cotton shirt and a black-and-white polka-dot tie styled with David Yurman accessories.

Josh Hutcherson: The actor donned Dolce & Gabbana again, wearing a three-piece suit with a speckled-print tie to add some pizzazz to the look. On this occasion I wish the trousers had a slimmer fit.

Sam Claflin: The actor’s tieless streak continued. He wore an Alexander McQueen Prince of Wales double breasted jacket with a white open shirt, signature printed scarf and black trousers. I like the individual pieces, but not as it is styled here.

Alan Ritchson: You are always guaranteed to stand out in a Versace Collection suit, so the handsome actor selected a teal-green two-button suit with notched lapels, which he styled with a white Versace shirt and black skinny tie.

Does Alan upstage the main stars in their dark suits, or do you prefer their more classic red-carpet look?

Elizabeth Banks In Versace – ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ LA Premiere

Elizabeth Banks In Versace - 'The Hunger Games Cathching Fire' LA Premiere

Elizabeth Banks kept up her 100% record while attending the LA premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California on Monday evening.

The actress was absolutely breathtaking in a stunning strapless orange Versace gown, with linear metallic-gold detailing wrapping around the left side of the bodice.

It’s sexy, modern and has an amazing figure-hugging silhouette. You may remember that Elizabeth also had an amazing orange Atelier Versace moment for the first film, and this is very much on par with that jaw-dropping look.

Elizabeth styled her dress with a copper Rauwolf clutch, gold-and-copper Jimmy Choo strappy ‘Maury’ sandals, and jewels courtesy of Melinda Maria and Jennifer Fisher.

She hasn’t skipped a beat during this promo tour. I had high hopes for Elizabeth, and she didn’t let me down .

2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Models Red Carpet Roundup

2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Models Red Carpet Roundup

Taylor Swift and Ciara weren’t the only ones making a splash at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, held at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City yesterday. The red carpet played host to a handful of the show’s leggy models, all of whom wore only slightly less revealing clothing than what was shown on the runway.

Lindsay Ellingson: Decked out in a structural burgundy-hued minidress courtesy of Mugler Spring 2013, Lindsay took a more futuristic approach to sexy styling. To lighten the mood, she accessorized with powder pink pumps.

Karlie Kloss: The statuesque model chose an off-the-shoulder, cleavage-enhancing LWD from Cushnie Et Ochs Resort 2014, and paired it with a white studded Rebecca Minkoff  ‘Coco’ clutch and black sandals.

Alessandra Ambrosio: The Angel showed off her toned physique in a red leather Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2014 look, which featured a daring open front and strange triangle-shaped detail at the skirt’s hem. Metallic pumps and a gold cuff bracelet completed the look.

Li Yuchun In Lanvin & Versace – MTV EMAs 2013

Li Yuchun In Lanvin & Versace - MTV EMAsLi Yuchun, aka Chris Lee, snagged the Best Worldwide Act award at the 2013 MTV EMAs at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The Chinese mega-star maintained her reputation for her unique, androgynous style with last night’s garb. She was once again in the no-gown-zone, as she walked on the wilder side with a Lanvin Pre-Fall 2013 leopard embellished coat, accented with floral appliqué.

Under the animal print, she packed on the sequins with a shiny black blazer, outlined in gold trim, from the Versace Resort 2014 collection, which she matched to a pair of black leather-look shorts and a white collar dress shirt.

A sparkling, star-shaped necklace was a fitting accoutrement for this pop singer and actress, whereas black thigh-high, flat Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy boots completed the spirited sartorial entrance that was equal parts rocker-boy and rebel-girl.

If anyone can handle this strong, statement look, it’s Li. Tough-luxe or just too much?

Fergie In Versace – LACMA Art + Film Gala 2013

Fergie-In-Versace-Pre-Fall-LACMA-Art-+-Film-Gala-2013

Fergie marched to the beat of her own drum while attending the third annual LACMA Art + Film Gala held at LACMA in California yesterday evening, honouring filmmaker Martin Scorcese and artist David Hockney.

Breaking up the Gucci love, the singer (who, like Evan Rachel Wood, was also showcasing her post-baby body) donned a Versace Pre-Fall 2013 black gown for the occasion.

The open-back gown featured gold embroidery detailing on the black leather panelled, padded shoulders.

Adding a touch more drama to the look, she wore gold cuffs and an Alexander McQueen fringed leather clutch she’s carried a few times before.

Perhaps if she’d worn her hair up to show off the shoulder detail she wouldn’t have required so much additional bling.

Selena Gomez In Versus Versace J.W. Anderson Collection – Late Show with David Letterman

Selena Gomez In Versus Versace JW Anderson Collection - Late Show with David Letterman

Selena Gomez was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theater prior to her guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ yesterday afternoon.

The young singer wore a Versus Versace J.W. Anderson Collection Resort 2014 look which consisted of a cropped long-sleeved black top with signature gold buttons at the shoulder and a black knee-length skirt with two slits at the front.

Keeping the black-and-gold theme going, she added Giuseppe Zanotti pumps plus a selection of gold Melinda Maria jewels, including large pyramid drop earrings and a three-stud ring.

I can’t say I’m a fan of the messy high-top braid but I do love her makeup, which included a rich orangey-red shimmering lip colour.

Do you love this look or are you still willing the crop-top trend to end?
