Daisy Lowe In Versace – 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Runway Mash-Up Award
I love it when celebs mix things up and step out of the lookbook to make their own look.

That’s what Daisy Lowe did tonight at the 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London.

The model opted to wear the knit Versace Spring 2011 crop top with the signature Greek key motif from Look 21 with the Versace Spring 2011 striped skirt from Look 11.

The runway heels would’ve really knocked this look out of the ballpark, but she opted for black pumps instead.

A turquoise clutch and Annoushka jewels completed the look.

Zoe Saldana For Prestige Magazine

Zoe Saldana graces the Hong Kong edition of Prestige Magazine, wearing one of the stunning Elie Saab Spring 2011 Couture gowns I had hoped to see during Cannes Film Festival.

The rest of the photoshoot, which was captured by John Russo, sees the actress wearing Burberry Prorsum and Versace.

In her interview she talks about her upcoming movie “Columbiana” which is a movie about an assassin hellbent on avenging the murder if her parents when she was a child, and taking on directing roles.

Here are some extracts.

On why she decided to work on Columbiana: The opportunity to work with [producer/screenwriter] Luc Besson, another filmmaker I completely respect, and who’s known for writing great roles for women. And I was excited about working with an international cast and crew. And even though it’s a typical story of revenge, it’s a story told through the eyes of a woman who was hurt when she was a little girl and who grows up wanting justice for what was done to her. I felt touched by that.Read More…

Lea Michele In Versace – “Glee” Academy Screening And Q&A

Lea Michele joined her cast-mates for the ‘Glee’ Academy Screening and Q&A in Hollywood, California yesterday.

As always Lea stood out wearing a fresh off the runway Versace black wool dress from the Fall 2011 collection.

Her knee-length one-shoulder black dress with a side-split, white tulip silhouette detail on the front and a white stripe going down the back was paired with black Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

The fact that she didn’t do a ‘Megan Fox/Blake Lively/Diane Kruger’ with the split, shows that she’s calmed down since the 2011 Grammy Awards when the ‘spirit of JLo’ took over her soul.

Whilst I really love this sophisticated dress and I’m happy that Lea didn’t go OTT with the posing, I’m not sure how practical a thigh-high split was for an event where she was sitting down for the majority of the time.

She looks comfortable, so I guess it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Loose waves and a sapphire Stephen Webster ring completed her look.

Kate Hudson In Versace – “Something Borrowed” LA Premiere

Kate Hudson completes a trio of Fall 2011 looks on the red carpet at the “Something Borrowed” LA Premiere.

The glowing actress, who is currently expecting her second child, wore a pale yellow Versace Fall 2011 chiffon gown with a cascading train and straps crossing in the back.

Kate’s gown has been modified from the runway as her version doesn’t have the thigh-high split nor does it have the feathered details on the skirt.

Chrome Hearts CH + KH jewels, a Ferragamo minaudiere and super straight blonde locks complete her look.

This is the perfect mummy-to-be summery look.

Mila Kunis In Versace – 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Mila Kunis was purring like a black panther on the red carpet at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, DC this weekend.

I have many Versace babes – Michelle Monaghan, Hilary Swank, Elizabeth Banks and Angelina Jolie, now I can add Mila Kunis to this list.

Mila has that Versace attitude, which is why it’s so easy for her to work the hell out of this Versace black gown from the Fall 2011 collection.

Her sleek black strapless gown with pockets, a sexy open back and gold medusa buttons was paired with a black Versace patent leather clutch.

I love Mila’s hair pulled back in sleek ponytail and her complementary Cartier jewelry.

Casadei peep-toes completed her look.

This is BDOTW worthy.
