Do you hear that?

That’s that sound of another ball being knocked out of the fashion ball park by Zoe Saldana.

I’m love her Versace Spring 2010 mini chain dress more than the runway version.

The white feels more modern in comparison, plus her dress fits her better than the model.

I like that she opted for Brian Atwood gold “Maniac” pumps, instead of the Spring 2010 Versace heels which are Shakira’s current obsession.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. What a fantastic year she’s having.

Audrina Patridge was my second favourite on this red carpet.

Her sea green Rue du Mail Spring 2010 ensemble is very sophisticated for The Hills star and I especially love the yellow Prada clutch and Alexander McQueen silver heels she paired with this look.

I must say I’m shocked that Audrina is channeling this brand, but she totally rocks it.

Michelle Rodriguez’ hair is way out of control for my liking, but the fact that she’s wearing a pretty Ina Soltani gown which looks gorgeous against her olive skin is enough for me.

Baby steps.

Sigourney Weaver walked the red carpet wearing a stunning black sequin wrap dress with white strappy sandals.

She used to occasion to promote her Life magazine cover.

So very elegant.

I make that two for two for Leona Lewis.

This is a hopeful sign that her corset days are firmly behind her.

This heavily embellished silver gown is very Beyonce circa 2004, but I like it.

The theme for Versace’s Pre Fall 2010 collection is tight and bright and I love it.

All of these looks are fresh and sexy (well you’d have to be sexy to squeeze into pvc leggings) and the patterns scream “look at me”.

What I wouldn’t give for those two tone leggings (or the model’s legs!)

I love the body con mini dresses, for which Donatella looked to Japan for inspiration.

Speaking of dresses, the two structured bodice pieces with the flowing skirts are just amazing.

It’s such a beautiful contrast and the floaty skirts on these dresses give them a softer edge. It won’t be long before a celeb snaps one of these up. Who are you placing your bets on?

Everything in this collection is super slinky and it’s all about the silhouette. Even the more conservative pieces like the studded jeans or the leather coat take no prisoners when it comes to muffin tops or saddlebags.

So what do you think of these attention grabbing pieces?

Thanks to Shakira’s current Versace obsession, Donatella Versace was the ‘Designer of the Week’.

Other celebrities who wore Versace this week were actress Bettina Zimmermann and model Julia Stegner.

These ladies showed that you can look just as sexy in a Versace mini dress, as you can in a Versace gown.

I doubt this will be the last time we see Donatella named ‘Designer of the Week’, as she not only dresses celebrities who want to look sexy, but also those who want to ooze sophistication like Bettina.

Looking at other website you’d be forgiven if you believed that only Shakira and Kate Winslet walked the red carpet at the Bambi Awards last night

Thomas Kretschmann and Shermine Sharivar were a very glamorous couple.

He wore a black suit with his shirt unbuttoned, whilst Shermine glowed beside him wearing an Armani Prive Fall 2009 deep plunging gown with an asymmetrical peplum on the waist.

The bodice stands out for more than the plunge, as it was embellished with stunning crystals.

I’m not sure about the nude clutch, but her hair and make-up suit the Old Hollywood look she was going for.

Bettina Zimmermann was another stunner on this red carpet.

Glowing with gorgeousity the actress wore a wore nude off-the-shoulder Versace Fall 2009 gown which is entirely beaded and modified from the runway.

Her look is paired with Versace heels from the same collection, and gold clutch.

I love how this gown shimmers.

Julia Stegner I ask you…why the ankle boots?

The model’s strapless midnight blue Versace Atelier Fall 2008 bustier gown with flower origami detail on the hip is outstandingly beautiful.

But when I see her pair it with ankle boots I just want to roll my eyes and say “next”.

Loving this from the ankles up.

I feel a unofficial brand ambassador post coming on.

Shakira wears Versace for her 4th red carpet appearance in a row, whilst her silver platform Versace Spring 2010 heels only get their 3rd appearance.

The singer wore a chain mail Versace Spring 2010 mini dress with an optical turquoise and charcoal grey print that made her stand out on this red carpet of luscious gowns.

Shakira later collected the ‘Best International Pop Star Award’ wearing a Gucci Fall 2009 mini dress with feathered details on the shoulders we have seen twice before on the red carpet.

She paired her dress with milky tights and black knee-high boots.

Jessica Schwarz opted for a black and white Chanel Fall 2009 ensemble consisting of a white sleeveless ruffed shirt, and a black draped floor-length skirt.

I’m sure she could’ve pulled off those arm-warmers.

Annette Weber wears the same blue ombre Valentino Fall 2009 gown we saw on Evangeline Lilly during Cannes Film Festival.

German model Franziska Knuppe was one of my favourites on this red carpet.

Her blue gown has a princess feel to it, plus I love the floral embroidered details that cascade down her bodice and the blue ribbon tied to her waist.

Kate Winslet won the ‘Best Actress Award’ at this event, but she wins most boring on this red carpet for me.

Her shapeless black dress doens’t excite me like the others do.  The only interesting part is the embellished shoulders and lace detail on the back.

Alexandra Maria Lara looked beautiful wearing a draped nude Alberta Ferretti halter gown.

What I’m missing from this look is a bit of bling, or a stand-out clutch.

Now this is what you call a mermaid hem.

Mareile Hoeppner must have Kate Beckinsale going green with envy.

There are a lot of great candidates for BDOTW, so let me know who’s your favourite.

Best Dressed Award
It’s been a long while since I was wowed by Fergie, but the singer did just that at the AMAs last night.

The singer walked the red carpet wearing an Armani Privé Fall 2009 black gown with asymmetrical zipper detailing which leads to a dramatic front slit.

The gown sparkles with thousands of black triangular paillettes and is embellished with tiny Swarovski crystals.

Fergie’s gown is slightly modified from the runway as the neckline differs plus Fergie’s gown has straps.

Black Louboutin’s plus a bracelet, armlet and large ring complete this stunning look.

Best Mini Dress Award
Alicia Keys has been a longtime friend of Giorgio Armani, so it’s not a surprise to see the singer wearing one of his stunning designs.

Her modified Giorgio Armani Spring 2010 cobalt blue, jewel encrusted strapless dress had an origami pleated detail on the bust which is more dramatic than the runway version.

I’m loving the aqua marine shades of blue, and the cute Swarovski crystal embellished shorts she wore under her dress.

She picked a fun piece from this collection that truly embodied the spirit of the AMAs.

Most Dramatic Award
Whilst most below were picking out cute nude dresses, Rihanna opted for a dramatic black and white floral laser cut Marchesa Spring 2010 strapless gown.

I loved this gown and it needed a strong personality to pull it off, and Rihanna did in my opinion.

I will guess a lot of you will hate this look, but she gets a thumbs up from me even with those white shoes.

Nice Dress, Shame About The Hair Award
Shakira seems to be developing a healthy obsession with Versace, as this is her 3rd Versace red carpet look in a row.

This sexy Versace Spring 2010 ultra mini yellow dress with cut-out details was perfect for someone with tons of sex appeal like Shakira, but I couldn’t help but feel that they ran out of time to style her hair.

It felt a bit flat against her stunning dress which she paired with the Spring 2010 runway heels.

Looks Way Better On The Red Carpet Award
This Christian Cota Spring 2010 ivory dress could have gone oh so wrong on Kristen Bell had she worn it as it was presented on the runway.

She only pulled up the skirt a few inches and removed the chains, but it makes a world of difference.

Silver Christian Louboutin Archidisco T-strap sandals and a Judith Leiber clutch completed this cute look.

Inspired By Taylor Swift Award
Had Taylor Swift been at this event, this silver Talbot Runhof Spring 2010 mini dress is what we would’ve expected her to wear.

Selena Gomez is sparkling both via her dress and her winning smile wearing her dress with Rock & Republic’s “Romy” strappy sandals embellished with chain detail.

I’m really loving this look as Selena tends to dress way too mature and boring for her young age.

Toned Down Bling Award
Like Taylor, Carrie Underwood used to have an obsession with over embellished dresses.

On this occasion she looked beautiful wearing a metallic one-shouldered Theia dress paired with amazing gold strappy sandals.

Nude Award
From the nude make-up, to the nude dress and the nude Guiseppe Zanotti heels, Demi Lovato needed something to inject a bit of life into her look.

Luckily her Jenny Packham Spring 2010 dress has a jeweled detail on the neckline to stop this look from being so boring and totally washing her out.

Va Va Voom Award
No matter was Sofia Vergara wears she’s going to look sexy.

Even if she was wearing a bin liner.

Whilst most opted for Music Award standard mini dresses, Sofia wowed in a nude Emilio Pucci one-shoulder gown which no doubt would’ve had men going weak at the knees.

Kate Beckinsale Will Be Green With Envy Award
It seems that since Paula Abdul left ‘American Idol’ that she’s had a style transformation.

Gone are those tacky costumey dresses, and in comes this stunning strapless lace mermaid hem gown.

The gown was so grand she need 2 people to help her walk down the red carpet.

I can’t remember the last time she looked this amazing.

Out Of Place Award
I love the delicate lace details on Nicole Kidman’s Balenciaga one-shoulder gown.

The pink and grey colours are gorgeous on her, but she always looks so out of place at these music events.

Worst Dressed Award
As much as I should be loving Kelly Clarkson’s dress based on the amount of embellishments are covering her dress, it fails to flatter her.

Needs To Check Out Style.com Award
Can someone please introduce Leona Lewis to Style.com.

She needs to be made aware that there are other designers out there than just Vivienne Westwood.

Yes she makes great designs, but Leona is only picking pieces that look exactly the same and it’s getting incredibly boring now.

I’ll lose it if I have to refer to those clunky ankle boots and that corset belt, so I’m going to pass.

What’s Happening? Award
Keri Hilson used to be so interesting to watch on the red carpet, but her look has started to become boring and stale.

I hope she gets back to her best soon, because she can do better than a LBD.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson grace the cover of the US edition of Harper’s Bazaar December 2009.

Are they dating?

They have me thinking yes. As many of you said yesterday, she’s not that great an actress. j/k

Plus pictures of them holding hands yesterday at a London airport only adds fuel to the fire.

Her puppy dog eyes give her away as he smoulders next to her especially in the out-takes below.

On the cover which was shot by Mark Seliger, Kristen wears Gucci whilst in the rest of her editorial we see her wearing a stunning Alexander McQueen gown, a gladiatorial Prada look, a sexy Alexander Wang sparkling mini and a glamorous Versace gown.

Here are some extracts from their joint interview:

Robert on his audition: “I was calm and collected, and then we do this thing where we’re pretty much making out. I’ve since tried to do it at another audition, but it completely just collapsed. Kristen was very different from how I expected the girl who played Bella would be. I was kind of intimidated.”

Fashion Rocks was held in Brazil for the first time this year.

The event featured four international fashion designers, including Marc Jacobs, Versace, Givenchy, and Calvin Klein with live performances from Mariah Carey, Estelle, P.Diddy, Grace Jones and Ciara.

The line-up also featured four national fashion designers – Lenny, Andre Lima, Alexandre Herchcovith and Lino Vilaventura paired with four performers including Lulu Santos, Daniela Mercury, Wanessa and Ja Rule.

Donatella Versace wore 2 gowns from her recent Spring 2010 collection.

The first was a lilac strapless gown which she had modified by removing the white details on the bodice, and lowering the central split.

This colour is fabulous on her.

The second was an asymmetrical angelic white gown with silver triangle shaped embellishments.

Again the split was lowered and the cut-out detail on the side of the gown on the runway, doesn’t appear on Donatella’s gown.

This was my favourite gown of the two.

Fernanda Lima hosted the show looking amazing wearing the same red Versace Fall 2009 gown Blake Lively wore to the Emmy’s.

She looked equally, if not more speculator in this jaw-dropping gown.

Isabeli Fontana wowed wearing a canary yellow Atelier Versace Fall 2007 halter gown.

I thought the only model who could provide this kind of jaw-dropping moment was Gisele Bundchen.

She’s back.

After months of quite boring black ensembles, Estelle was back to her colourful best wearing a very interesting futuristic Manish Arora Fall 2009 dress of yellow, orange, red maroon and black.

The textured dress was paired with a grey Fendi clutch and Christian Louboutin Calypso heels as worn by Blake Lively last week.

Fernanda Motta and Alessandra Ambrosio arrived at this event together.

Fernanda wore a black satin Versace Fall 2009 wrap dress, which is the same dress we saw on Janet Jackson recently, whilst Alessandra showed off her enviable figure in a taupe halter neck gown embellished with precious stones.

Ciara confirmed via her twitter page that she is going to be Riccardo Tisci new muse for Givenchy, so it was no surprised to see her decked out in a Givenchy Spring 2009 ensemble.

Her embellished cold-shoulder top was paired with a leather pocketed mini skirt to show-off those toned legs.
