Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Tia Mowry In Versace - Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2014Tia Mowry coloured outside the lines at the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, hosted on Saturday (March 29) at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Instant Mom’ star wore a Versace blue-and-lavender, abstract-patterned shift dress.

Jimmy Choo black sandals and a black clutch complemented all those black squiggle marks, while her hot-pink nails added a fun punch.

But the medieval braided updo proved an odd pairing for such a mod frock.

Krysten Ritter In Versace - Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Krysten Ritter vamped up the blue carpet at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards, hosted on Saturday (March 1) at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California.

Striking a perfect pose, the actress delivered a dose of ferocious style to the proceedings in a Versace Fall 2013 bodycon frock, polished up with a pair of gold metallic Rubert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps.

Peppered at the front and centre with an abstracted yellow animal print, the edgy dress also featured curve-enhancing black vinyl at the sides and back.

She balanced the sultry punk look with a sleek black Tyler Alexandra clutch and a simple approach to hair and makeup, wearing wavy black locks and a simple blush-nude lip. No need to overdo the edgy effect, after all.

Do you like the drama she brought to the event?

Irina Shayk In Versace Collection - Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Celebrates 50 Years Of Swim In NYC

Irina Shayk joined Chrissy Teigen, Chanel Iman and Lily Aldridge for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition 50th Anniversary Party held at the Swimsuit Beach House on Tuesday (February 18) in New York City.

For those of you sick of the sheer trend, this Versace Collection black floor-length gown with silver hardware on the straps, a plunging neckline and a sheer skirt will be like nails on a chalkboard.

As beautiful as the model looks, there is nothing much to get excited about.

Sexy, yes. Expected, very much so.

The look was styled with a Melinda Maria ring.

Lady Gaga In Vintage Versace - Out In ParisLady Gaga was every bit her own work of art on Monday (January 20), as she left the Bristol Hotel in Paris, France, on her way to the Palais Galliera, Museum of Fashion to see the Azzedine Alaïa exhibition with the designer.

The songstress was black and silver and sparkly all over, as she strutted out a vintage Gianni Versace jumpsuit, fully embroidered with crystals in a glammed-up argyle pattern.

This look was obviously all about excess, so of course, the mountain-high, black platform booties were back in action, which certainly made this an even more towering statement.

The glitter didn’t stop with there, either. As to be expected with Mother Monster, just as significant as the ensemble was her enchanted beauty look. A constellation of rhinestones were scattered across her complexion, which was also punched up with a matte red lip.

But that mop of metallic silver dreadlocks may just take the cake here. That ’do is way more than just icing on this outrageous confection.

Love or loathe?

Uma Thurman attended the 2014 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 12) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress wore a custom two piece design from Atelier Versace and jewels from Chopard. Uma donned the black ensemble which paired a beaded halter-style top and floor-length skirt with a dramatic train.

As a woman famous for her long, lean and delicate frame, I feel this design does not show off the stunning styling we’ve come to know and love from Uma–like this perfect red carpet moment.

What’s your take on Uma’s Golden Globe style: love it on the red carpet, or leave it in the closet?
