Catherine Zeta Jones In Zuhair Murad Couture – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Catherine Zeta Jones was another early arrival at the 2018 Golden Globes Awards on Sunday (January 7), joining Debra Messing and Caitriona Balfe.

The actress adhered to the night’s all-black dress code with her Zuhair Murad Fall 2017 Couture gown.

The sheer embroidered dress had plenty of sex appeal with the plunging neckline and exposed underwear.

I can hear the cries from people wishing that the piece had some lining, and I would agree, but I have to say that she does look incredible.

The head-turning look was topped with dazzling green Lorraine Schwartz jewels which enhanced her complexion beautifully.

Tracee Ellis Ross In Marc Jacobs – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

I am always excited to see what fashion adventure Tracee Ellis Ross will lead us on, and she didn’t disappoint at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

She may be a fan of bold hues, but she didn’t let the all-black theme cramp her style tonight.

Her Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 black jersey halter dress was just as spirited as the star herself with its structured bow at the neckline.

That it was styled over black jogger pants and with a satin turban, also from the Spring 2018 collection, only contributed to that quirky Tracee edge that we know and love.

A red lip and pearl Irene Neuwirth earrings provided another layer of elegantly dramatic attitude to finish the look.

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

There will likely be no surprise that Michelle Williams was donning the Louis Vuitton label for the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘All the Money in the World’ actress and nominee, who was pictured with activist Tarana Burke, kept it simple in her black LV off-the-shoulder look.

I was thankful for the bit of patterned embroidery in the pouf-sleeve top along with the deep slit at the side of the skirt to provide some visual spark to the ensemble.

Au naturel makeup and a singular necklace completed her freshly minimal styling.

Debra Messing In Christian Siriano – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Debra Messing adhered to the all-black dress code at the 75th Annual Golden Globes on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California, joining Allison Williams and Caitriona Balfe.

The ‘Will & Grace’ actress surprised with her Christian Siriano dress and pants.

The way the glistening fabric juxtaposed the menswear trousers was striking, although I must say the proportions of the cut-out feel a bit awkward.

I can see where this was going, but I think some further tailoring was needed to have the concept fully realized.

Oversized green studs completed the look.

Alessandra Mastronardi In Chanel – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

“Master of None” star Alessandra Masteroni arrived on the Globes Red Carpet wearing Chanel Pre-Fall 2018.

Chanel designs are known for their whimsical style. Even in this dark hue, Alessandra looked feminine and elegant in a tea length feathered black sequin gown.

While the runway version catered to a couture crowd, featuring a high fashion headpiece and pumps with tights, the actress was able to make this look wearable by pairing down her accessories. With a middle-parted sleek updo, the Chanel look was perfect for the red carpet.

Sticking to a pointy heel with simple detail let the dress do the all the talking, which is ideal for such a statement design. Her decision to keep the waist cinched in accentuated her petite figure and kept true to the runway styling. Chanel Fine Jewelry added a touch of sparkle to the look.

Caitriona Balfe In Chanel Couture – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Caitriona Balfe was one of the first on the 2018 Golden Globe Awards red carpet on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘Outlander’ actress and nominee looked to the Chanel Fall 2017 Couture collection to align with the black dress code.

However, with the design’s decorative straps and feathery shoulders along with the ruffled, ruched detailing, the look was far from one-note.

A sleek bun and Chanel Fine Jewelry completed the Parisian-chic entrance.

Allison Williams In Armani Privé – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Allison Williams made a bold statement at the 2018 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The former ‘Girls’ actress donned an Armani Privé Spring 2017 gown which drew the attention upwards thanks to the orange semi-circular design on the bodice.

I enjoyed the lack of jewellery in the runway version, but am enamored with the way her choker ties in the silver detailing while giving the ensemble more of a formal finish.

This was a bit of a departure from her classically feminine looks, and I think she pulled it off brilliantly.
