Emma Stone In Lanvin – 2011 Met Gala

Emma Stone was still working the punch pink pout trend on the red carpet at the 2011 Met Gala in New York City last night.

She looked amazing wearing a custom black & white floral rose print silk-satin strapless Lanvin gown.

A sexy slightly messy updo and stunning statement earrings completed her look.

I love how sophisticated this look is whilst still maintaining a youthful vibe.

Elle Fanning In Valentino Couture – 2011 Met Gala

Elle Fanning opted for a quirkier look at the 2011 Met Gala in New York City last night.

She trumped her big sister by wearing a Valentino Fall 2010 ensemble.

I think she pulls of this white long sleeve top with black bolero and skirt with great aplomb.

How is one so young so confident and poised?

She was one of my favourites on the night.

I love the runway inspired top knot and the Valentino bow front heels.

Dakota Fanning In Valentino – 2011 Met Gala

I was very happy that Dakota Fanning gave this Valentino Resort 2011 gown an outing at the 2011 Met Gala in New York City last night.

It deserved a red carpet moment, and I was worried that it would never happen as celebs become obsessed with newly presented seasons.

There were many ballgowns at this event, but none fitted the princessy/fairytale vibe more than this one.

I love the multiple floral appliqués on her nude strapless tulle gown.

As always she wore her hair down and opted for a pretty pink lipshade.

Emily Browning In Marc Jacobs – 2011 Met Gala

Australian actress Emily Browning attended the 2011 Met Gala in New York City last night.

Despite her inability to look comfortable on the red carpet, she does make great choices.

She opted for a Marc Jacobs guipere lace dress from the Fall 2011 collection.

The Bordeaux lace cap sleeve dress with a high collar was styled with Sergio Rossi black patent slingbacks which feel too heavy for her look.

I think Emily would’ve been overwhelmed in a big tulle gown, so whilst I’m not crazy about this modified dress I’m glad she kept the look simple.

A red and black polka dot clutch completed her look.

Ashley Greene In Donna Karan – 2011 Met Gala

I was quite surprised by Ashley Greene on the red carpet at the 2011 Met Gala.

She looked beautiful wearing a spectacular Donna Karan gown.

Her one-of-a-kind blush tulle draped strapless gown is embroidered with platinum sequins in a fishbone pattern.

I loved her elegant side-swept bun and her bedazzled Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

A complementary Judith Leiber clutch completed her look.

I’m thankful that she didn’t suck the life out of this stunning dress.

She was one of my favourites.
