Kaley Cuoco In Vera Wang - 2013 Emmy Awards

I know some of you just can’t get on board with Kaley Cuoco’s style, but I think she played it well on the red carpet for Sunday’s 2013 Emmy Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Big Bang Theory’ actress wore a Vera Wang plum strapless A-line ball gown with a sheer bodice boning detail and leaf-pleated tulle skirt accented by organza scalloping, which she styled with a matching Jimmy Choo ‘Cayla’ clutch.

She’s had some red carpet mishaps in the hair department, but at this event, she opted for soft gentle waves.

On this rare occasion, the desperation for attention is not evident and there’s not quirk, so therefore, I find myself really enjoying this look.

Sofia Vergara In Vera Wang - 2013 Emmy Awards

As usual, Sofia Vergara sizzled at the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards tonight at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The effervescent ‘Modern Family’ star gave the red carpet a run for its money in a custom, vermillion-hued Vera Wang silk crepe and lace gown that had her curves on full display.

The mermaid silhouette, with the plunging V-neck and trumpet skirt, is nothing we haven’t seen from Sofia before, although the appliqué lace detailing and structured, corset-belt accent added even more va-va-voom flair—as if she needed any extra help in this department.

Stunning, tri-colour statement earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, along with an emerald cocktail ring provided even more panache, whilst a sultry cat-eye and long Barbarella waves completed the look.

Exceptional or too expected?

Selena Gomez In Vera Wang - 'Getaway' LA Premiere

Following her appearance at the VMAs on Sunday, where she collected a ‘Best Pop Video’ Moonman for her song ‘Come and Get It’, Selena Gomez headed to Los Angeles to attend the premiere of her new movie, ‘Getaway’, on Monday evening at Regency Village Theatre.

All eyes were once again on the former Disney princess as she glowed wearing a Vera Wang Fall 2013 dress.

Her collage dress featured a rose-jacquard bodice, a butterfly peplum with a black guipure-lace insert, and a shot of colour via her magenta rose-jacquard skirt, completed with matching Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

This is in total contrast to her VMAs look, yet they both possess a youthful air and sassy sex appeal.

A loose ponytail and Jimmy Choo ‘Alias’ lace pumps with a patent-leather toe-cap completed her look.

Rooney Mara In Vera Wang - ‘For The Love Of Cinema’ Event

Rooney Mara wore yet another bi-colour look while attending the ‘For The Love Of Cinema’ event hosted by Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France on Sunday alongside Naomi Watts and Karolina Kurkova.

The actress wore a Vera Wang Fall 2013 black-and-stone layered look with a charcoal bralet overlay, which she styled with Brian Atwood ‘Aida’ sandals.

It’s an interesting look which is strangely simple and complex at the same time.

I always find the berry lip colour so harsh on Rooney. I wish she would consider different options, much like her dress colours on the red carpet.

At this point, I would have a heart attack if she wore pink, for example.

Kerry Washington In Vera Wang - 2013 Met Gala

Kerry Washington made a sterling effort to infuse some punk in her pretty look while taking to the red carpet for the 2013 Met Gala in New York on Monday.

The ‘Scandal’ actress wore a custom Vera Wang sleeveless V-neck lavender metallic floral print mermaid gown featuring a silk and lace flange detail within the train and chrysanthemum lace peplum accent.

What made this look punk?

I would say the sexy fishnet panel in the plunge, her black leather opera gloves, and the sexy cat-eye makeup.

Is Kerry selling punk to you here?
