Sarah Jessica Parker In Vera Wang - ArtsConnection 35th Anniversary Spring Benefit

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the ArtsConnection 35th Anniversary Spring Benefit held at 583 Park Avenue on Thursday (April 24) in New York City.

The actress wore a Vera Wang Fall 2014 charcoal tartan print satin chiffon long sleeve godet trapeze dress with a swing skirt and black oversized cuffs.

She layered up on the accessories adding a selection of Fred Leighton necklaces including the gold fringe piece she’s particularly fond of.

With no clutch, or cross body bag to speak of, SJP completed her look with purple ankle ‘Alyssa’ ankle boots from her own SJP Collection.

Emmy Rossum In Vera Wang – ‘Need For Speed’ New York Premiere

Emmy Rossum In Vera Wang - 'Need For Speed' New York Premiere

Emmy Rossum was looking her usual glamorous self while attending the ‘Need For Speed’ screening on Tuesday (March 11) in New York City.

The actress, who was recently in Austin for the SXSW Film Festival, wore a Vera Wang Resort 2014 sleeveless black-and-nude frock.

I love how the double-layered lace brings out an elegant dimension to the sexy sheath, which features a black cotton poplin waistband to nip in her waist.

The nude-and-black theme kept on rolling to her patent-leather pumps and black satin clutch, both by Christian Louboutin, with statement jewels adding a subtle sparkle.

Opting for bronze smouldering eye makeup and pink glossy lips, her raven tresses were swept to one side with her waves left to cascade over her left shoulder.

Emma Watson In Vera Wang – Oscars 2014

Emma Watson In Vera Wang - Oscars 2014

Emma Watson was also among the stars at the Oscars 2014, hosted Sunday night (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Taking the evening’s light shimmery, metallic trend into moodier territory, the young actress donned a Vera Wang Fall 2014 pewter gown.

The fine gauge ribbed knit tan-and-black stretch lamé dress featured a crew-neck bodice and godet mermaid skirt, providing a sportier look on top mixed with a more dramatic spin on bottom.

The edgy-contemporary vibe was complemented by a Chanel Fine Jewelry ring and Anita Ko ear cuff, along with her pulled-back, mussed-up ’do and vampy red lip.

An Anya Hindmarch ‘Crisp Packet’ clutch completed her look.

Idina Menzel brought a bit of Broadway to Los Angeles at the 2014 Oscars on Sunday, March 2.

The singer of ‘Let it Go’, which is nominated for Best Original Song in the animated film ‘Frozen’, wore custom Vera Wang in a deep, mossy green.

The dress was all about classic glamour and fit Idina’s frame perfectly.

While I agree that the look called for some major jewels, particularly on a nominee, these were a bit contemporary for my taste. I would have loved to see her dripping with some classic pieces worthy of Elizabeth Taylor and a red lip would have amped up the glamour as well.

All in all Idina is killing it and I’m looking forward to seeing her perform tonight. Perhaps there’s even another beautiful dress up her sleeve!

Renée Fleming In Vera Wang – Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Pregame Show

Renée Fleming In Vera Wang - Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Pregame Show

Renée Fleming performed the national anthem ahead of the Super Bowl XLVIII held on Sunday (February 2) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The opera singer wore a custom Vera Wang black long-sleeved gown with a pleated accent at the waist and an ivory silk-faille floor-length wrap coat with an exposed shoulder and draped detail.

If this was designed to keep the cold weather at bay I will give this look a pass; otherwise, there is just too much going on, and I especially don’t like the restrictedness of the arm from the draped detail. This could’ve been great, but it’s a no from me.
