Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Virginie Efira was in France to attend the “The Debt” Premiere during the 2010 Deauville Film Festival.

The Belgian actress opted for a French designer by wearing a Vanessa Bruno Spring 2010 ensemble.

Her look included a Vanessa Bruno asymmetrical blouse which was half tucked into her black asymmetrical skirt with a satin waistband.

I love how this look is effortlessly styled.

I normally don’t like peeking underwear, but even her bra strap appears to be part of the look.

She teamed her ensemble with a black clutch and Dior Wave ankle boots.

Vanessa Bruno is another out-of-town designer, who’s keen to get young Hollywood wearing her clothes.

UK stars like Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Cole know all about Vanessa Bruno, so Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth were formally introduced at a dinner party in LA last night.

Rachel mixed two pieces from Vanessa Bruno’s Spring 2010 collection.

I absolutely love this look from head-to-toe.

Her look included a Vanessa Bruno cape style blazer with a striped top and an orange Vanessa Bruno skirt.

An embellished clutch and tan sandals complete this chic look.

This is the first time in a long time I’ve loved a Rachel Bilson red carpet look.

This is BDOTW worthy for me.

Kate Bosworth enjoys her second night out in a row with a fabulous designer.

The blonde actress wore an orange Vanessa Bruno Spring 2010 spaghetti strap dress which had a high-low hemline.

A matching Vanessa Bruno puff-sleeved asymmetrical blouse worn as a cardigan and matchy Jonathan Kelsey ‘Amy’ pumps complete the look.

I love matchy matchy looks, but even this is too one tone for me.

Rachel showed much more imagination with her look.

Vanessa Bruno’s Fall 2010 presentation included easy wearable everyday clothes, which you’ll wear over and over again.

We were presented with shearling coats, masculine blazers, knit leotards which tied at the waist, leather floppy hats, booties with stud and tuffs of fur, knicker bocker pants, knee-high socks and floral sheer dresses.

Vanessa layered many pieces which will keep us warm next winter.

This was a very relaxed presentation with grungy styling and an interesting mixture of colours, textures and patterns.

Best Use Of Colour Award
Nicola Roberts provided the much needed pop of colour on the red carpet at the 2010 Elle Style Awards last night.

The Girls Aloud singer told me that she was wearing an ensemble from Vanessa Bruno’s Spring 2010 collection, which I initially thought was a long sleeved playsuit.

Under her pink blazer she was wearing a very visible nude bra, but I would’ve preferred that over a simple white tee.

It looks like she was inspired by Audrey Tautou’s BAFTA look, because Nicola paired her bubblegum pink ensemble with a red clutch.

Unfortunately that were the inspiration ended because Nicola let herself down with unimaginative black sandals.

What a way to drag down a fab look.

As much as I’m selling to you that Cheryl Cole is moving away from her WAG image, you guys just ain’t buying it.

This week Cheryl was spotted back in London to judge the X Factor bootcamp auditions at the Hammersmith Apollo.

We’ve seen her in Milly, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Tibi, but this time she opts for a very sophisticated Vanessa Bruno sleeveless dress.

I love the rich aubergine colour, the fit, the dart detailing and as much as it pains me to admit it, I even love her sheer tights as they add an air of elegance to her look.

With her hair skillfully teased her look is completed with a pair of her favourite brand of heels – Rupert Sanderson.

Are you convinced yet?

Her dress is available to purchase from the Net-A-Porter International site for £265.02/€325.23.
