Naomi Watts In Valentino – 85th Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon

Naomi Watts continued her chic streak at the 85th Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon, hosted on Monday at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

‘The Impossible’ actress dressed in an elegant, black Valentino frock.

Textured swirls of rose-inspired embroidery, a flouncy hemline and pockets added a spirited edge to this LBD.

So did Christian Louboutin’s PVC and leather ‘Paulina’ pumps, which we first glimpsed on Lea Michele during the 2013 TCA Winter Press Tour in mid-January.

Lush side-parted curls and a pink lip completed the effortless look.

Anne Hathaway In Valentino Couture – 2013 DGA Awards

o‘Les Miserables’ actress Anne Hathaway supported the film’s nominated director Tom Hooper at the 2013 DGA Awards last night at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in California.

She actually found inspiration from a few seasons ago, selecting a regal, intricately patterned look from Valentino’s Fall 2012 Couture runway.

Her pixie cut (and the dress’s pockets) added some fresh edge to the romantically rich, yet rather dense and severe, multicolored brocade.

Casadei shoes were vegan, but uninspiring, and Cartier sparkle completed the look.

01.02.13 Who Wore It Better?

Who Wore Valentino Better…Alessandra Mastronardi or Allison Williams?

Back in April last year, Alessandra Mastronardi attended the Rome premiere of ‘To Rome With Love’ with co-star Penelope Cruz.

She held her own against the red carpet A-lister, wearing a Valentino Spring 2012 powder-pink multi-layered tulle gown embroidered with neon-pink-and-black contrast lace.

A Bulgari clutch and a braided updo – inspired by the runway styling – completed her romantic look.

TV’s ‘IT’ girl, Allison Williams, wore the same gown in November to the 2012 Gotham Independent Film Awards.

While she kept the styling simple with black sandals, I wish she had worn her hair back in a neat bun.

Alessandra’s braided updo makes all the difference and is much preferred over Allison’s glossy tresses, so Alessandra wins for me even though I’m not crazy about her clutch with this look.

Amanda Seyfried In Valentino – SAG Awards After-Party

On Sunday, Amanda Seyfried was spotted leaving a SAG Awards after-party hosted at the Chateau Marmont in LA.

After wowing on the red carpet in Zac Posen, she looked gorgeous once again wearing a sheer Valentino Resort 2013 dress.

The lightly embellished dress with a tiered skirt was so sheer you could see her panties, so thankfully this wasn’t a red carpet look.

A silver box clutch and black satin Brian Atwood ‘Wagner’ peep-toes provided the finishing touches.

Rose Byrne In Valentino – 2013 SAG Awards

Among a sea of black, white, and metallic gowns, Rose Byrne stood out in an oversized floral print at Sunday’s SAG Awards.

A camelon of red carpet styles, the ‘I Give It a Year’ star looked refreshingly spring-like in a ruffled colour palette of yellow, coral and seafoam from Valentino Resort 2013.

To allow the major ruffles and bold pattern be the stars of the red carpet, the actress opted for understated jewels by Van Cleef & Arpels and a simple Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch.

To complete the glam style, Rose went with a retro-inspired beauty look with a bright pink pout and sculpted waves.

Lea Michele In Valentino – 2013 SAG Awards

If I place my finger over Lea Michele’s dip dye hair, I would say she looked flawless on the red carpet at the 2013 SAG Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium in California on Sunday evening.

The ‘Glee’ star wore a vibrant Valentino Resort 2013 strapless gown with bi-colour Jennifer Mayer jewels and Jimmy Choo heels.

I expected her to wear a bold colour, so she didn’t let me down. I was also expecting a thigh-high slit and give us her signature sexy face but she didn’t oblige on that front…thankfully.

You may remember that Freida Pinto wore a red satin version of this gown at the end of last year.
