Meryl Streep In Valentino – ‘Ricki And The Flash’ New York Premiere

Meryl Streep In Valentino - 'Ricki And The Flash' New York Premiere

Meryl Streep attended the New York premiere of ‘Ricki And The Flash’ at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Monday (August 3) in New York City.

While some of us applauded Meryl for stepping out of the box in Balmain on Jimmy Fallon, others will be happy that this Valentino Fall 2015 dual-colour look sees Meryl step right back into it again.

The look is visually crisp with its matching accessories and I’m sure the look came to life with each stride, but I am more likely to remember the former look than this one by the end of the day.

Kiernan Shipka In Valentino – ‘The Gift’ LA Premiere

Kiernan Shipka In Valentino - 'The Gift' LA Premiere

Kiernan Shipka attended ‘The Gift’ LA premiere at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Thursday (July 30) in Los Angeles, California.

As expected, the actress looked adorable wearing a cute fit-and-flared Valentino dress flaunting pretty daisies and the sentimental ‘Loves me, Loves me not’ slogan.

A cute pair of lemon sandals would’ve been a sweet way to round out this look, however, Kiernan opted for all black accessories.

You can buy Kiernan’s Valentino Daisy-Embroidered Fit-And-Flare Dress
from Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Lane Crawford.

Comic-Con 2015 Red Carpet Roundup

Comic con roundup
The star-studded Comic-Con 2015 weekend brought out a host of other bold names for the range of parties and panel discussions in San Diego, California.

Natalie Dormer: Attending the Screen Gems panel, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress wore a Mary Katrantzou lamur guipure lace and jacquard midi dress with blue-green embroidered accents. I like how her ponytail adds a fresh, breezy note to this darker look, but I have no words for the shoes that should have been a simple black or blue sandal if nothing else. You may remember that Shailene Woodley wore the same dress a few months ago.

Sarah Paulson: Fusing femininity with structure, this Suno cutout flared black dress was a successful look for Sarah at the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con 2015 party. I was equally delighted to see her step outside the plain-black box with accessories including a silver Edie Parker clutch and silver Aldo shoes.

Kate Mara: Also joining the dark colour parade, Kate wore an embellished Valentino Fall 2015 design at the 20th Century Fox panel discussion. She let the mini dress shine all on its own with only minimal styling including a simple pair of black sandals and a few beaded bracelets, which I would argue were unnecessary too.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Spanning the globe from London, Toronto and Rome, here is a roundup of some of the menswear look hitting the red carpet this week.

Chiwetel Ejiofor: I never watch TV during the day while working, accept during the Wimbledon Championships. I was left in swooning by how handsome Chiwetel Ejiofor looked while taking his seat for the Novak Djokovic v Richard Gasquet semi final match this afternoon. It’s not often we see the Chiwetel in a colour other than black, so this dark brown and blue combo courtesy of Ralph Lauren was a very special treat; possessing all the smoothness and finesse we expect from the British actor.

James Marsden: The actor, who has had some very special red carpet moments in Valentino, attended the Valentino ‘Mirabilia Romae’ Haute Couture show in Rome, Italy yesterday evening. Valentino’s sartorial standards continue to shine in this midnight blue suit decked with vertical pinstripes presenting a crisp, collected appearance.

Comic-Con 2015 Red Carpet Roundup

Comic Con

Here is a roundup of some of the other events which took place last night (July 9) during Comic-Con 2015 in San Diego.

Ashley Benson: I can’t say I’m a huge fan of Ashley’s style, but I simply adore this sweet offering from Valentino. While the look may have benefited from her hair being pulled back, I love the simple styling which included Aldo sandals.

Willow Shields: Joining Jennifer Lawrence for the Lionsgate press panel to present ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2′, the young actress wore a House of Holland cross over dress typically playful thanks to its bold blue and purple contrasting plaid panels.

Holland Roden: Back stateside after a short jaunt to Paris, the ‘Teen Wolf’ star attended the FOX International Studios’ Comic-Con Party. I love how the bold stripes and florals enhance the classic A-line silhouette of her Kate Spade New York ensemble.
