BAFTA Celebrates ‘Downton Abbey’

BAFTA Celebrates 'Downton Abbey'
BAFTA celebrated ‘Downton Abbey’ at Richmond Theatre in Richmond, England on Tuesday (August 11), where the lovely ladies of the show were in attendance.

Joanne Froggatt: Maximizing the minimalist trend, the actress donned a Victoria Beckham white gown—which was lightly embellished at the back for visual interest—paired with an Edie Parker clutch. Breezier waves added a lighter, relaxed touch to the sleek look.

Michelle Dockery: Also taking a more minimalist angle, Michelle wore a Valentino Fall 2015 black and white ensemble that was a bit severe if not striking in its simplicity—especially with the bold finish of a red lip.

Laura Carmichael: While she maintained some of the black-and-white colour palette, the actress embraced the signature florals of Erdem in a Resort 2016 bow-accented dress, which was a sweetly charming look for her.

Lizzy Caplan In Valentino – CBS’ 2015 Summer TCA Party

Lizzy Caplan In Valentino - CBS' 2015 Summer TCA Party

Lizzy Caplan attended CBS’ 2015 Summer TCA party at the Pacific Design Center on Monday (August 10) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a daringly chic Valentino two-piece contrasting-print look oozing with effortless charm.

Despite its Resort status; the combination of the rich floral embroidery, metallic detailing and moody colours, makes it Pre-Fall-perfect.

Moving away from the look book festival styling, Lizzy added strappy sandals plus a shimmering red lip to add some sultry appeal to the look.

Elizabeth Debicki In Valentino – ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ New York Premiere

Elizabeth Debicki In Valentino - ‘The Man From UNCLE New York Premiere

Elizabeth Debicki joined Alicia Vikander for the New York premiere of ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ at Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (August 10).

While Elizabeth’s style is well-regarded, I’m yet to find myself wowed by her style.

On this occasion the look is just washed-out.

I adored her Valentino Resort 2016 dress on the model, but it falls flat on Elizabeth, especially round the bust area.

Disney ABC Television Group's 2015 Summer TCA Press Tour Photocall

A host of actresses joined Priyanka Chopra and Kerry Washington on the red carpet for the Disney ABC Television Group’s 2015 TCA Summer Press Tour on Tuesday (August 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

Bellamy Young: I see where Bellamy was going here, but sadly I just don’t buy it. While I have no problem with the Valentino animal print dress, the Tamara Mellon studded booties don’t work for her and the Edie Parker mint clutch is terribly out of place. To add more oil onto the fire, I don’t like her bangs either. The whole hairstyle screams mullet.

Regina King: There’s no way you could’ve missed Regina in her hot-pink Tamara Mellon one-shoulder jumpsuit. While I think the look would’ve fared better without the layered detail, she’s rocking the hell out of this piece. Tri-colour Christian Louboutin ‘Otrot’ fringed colour-block suede sandals added yet more pizazz to this look.

Elizabeth Henstridge: Another actress who was sure to be seen was Elizabeth Henstridge. The brunette beauty opted for a colour-block House of Holland ‘Emily’ dress rendered in a 70s flower power vibe. Keeping the focus on the dress, nude sandals rounded out her look.

Kate Mara In Valentino – ‘Fantastic Four’ New York Premiere

Kate Mara In Valentino - 'Fantastic Four' New York Premiere

Following her previous three looks earlier in the day, Kate Mara was still on top form while attending the premiere of ‘Fantastic Four’ on Tuesday (August 4) in New York City.

Continuing to keep the hemline high, the actress selected a bow-accented leather dress from Valentino that brings decidedly sleek charisma to the table.

Having worn a succession of sweet frocks, I like that she put forth a darker, slightly alluring vibe to her red carpet look.
