Anne Hathaway In Valentino – 2014 World Of Children Awards

Anne Hathaway In Valentino - 2014 World Of Children Awards

Anne Hathaway attended the 2014 World Of Children Awards held at 583 Park Avenue on Thursday (November 6) in New York City.

The actress was back in her favourite house – the Maison of Valentino, that is – wearing a leather mini dress from their Resort 2015 collection featuring a decorative laser-cut neckline accented with studded detailing.

We have seen Anne’s style take a more mature direction during her ‘Interstellar’ promo tour, with mostly underwhelming results, so how does this look fare?

For me, I have to say I like the look, even though I prefer the look book version.

I have a feeling some might be put off by this, deeming it too twee or a step back, but I think the contrast sheer yoke prevents that, giving the look an edge.

I would just question the necklace with that detailed neckline.

Jennifer Lopez In Emanuel Ungaro & Valentino – ‘True Love’ Book Tour

Jennifer Lopez In Emanuel Ungaro & Valentino - 'True Love' Book Tour

Jennifer Lopez was on the promo trail promoting her new book, ‘True Love’, with guest appearances on the ‘Today’ show and the Huffington Post in New York City on Tuesday (November 4).

The ‘Today’ Show: The ‘American Idol’ judge has been on a roll and that continued with this gorgeous aqua-blue Emanuel Ungaro high-neckline long-sleeved dress. The look is so chic and glamorous, with a daring high slit adding a touch of sex appeal. While I would perhaps lose the white Vince clutch, I love the gold accessories including the Hermes cuff, jewels and Louboutin pumps. This is what a true diva looks like.

Huffington Post: Jennifer’s second look of the day was a classic Valentino black frock featuring a red contrast collar with floral embellishments. The frock may be on the twee side for JLo, and better suited to Emma Stone or Hailee Steinfeld, yet I still find myself charmed by this look.

Suki Waterhouse In Valentino – Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

Suki Waterhouse In Valentino - Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

Suki Waterhouse attended the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards held at Claridge’s Hotel on Tuesday (November 4) in London, England.

If you are anything like me, you have been longing for the moment this Valentino tulle gown hit the red carpet.

Even though Keira Knightley was the one on my wish list, along with Rose Byrne, I’m still swept away by the intelligent balance of elegance and whimsy.

The form-fitting shape of the bodice is married artfully with the sinuous swathes of fabric that render a voluminous skirt and a graceful silhouette. This is set off by quaint, playful embroidery throughout, inspired by nature and finished sublimely.

I just wish Suki had swept her hair back on this occasion.

Rachel Zoe In Valentino – 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Rachel Zoe In Valentino - 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Rachel Zoe joined a host of celebrities for the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala honouring Barbara Kruger and Quentin Tarantino which was presented by Gucci at the LACMA on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles, California.

The celebrity stylist wore a Valentino gown in a striking salmon-pink hue which could’ve overwhelmed her petite frame, however, she looked at least 6ft tall.

Proving that she knows her craft, she effortlessly styled the dramatic piece with a selection of gold accessories including David Webb jewels.

Golden tresses falling down one side and a soft pink glossy lip rounded out this better-than-some-of-the-celebs red carpet look.

Franca Sozzani In Valentino & Ciara In Tadashi Shoji – Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience: Gala Event

ciara Tadashi Shoji

Prior to her performance, Ciara joined editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, Franca Sozzani, on the red carpet for the gala event during the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience on Friday (October 31) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Franca Sozzani: Ccolour was focus for Franca, who wore a multi-hued Valentino Spring 2015 floral-embroidered gown with flared sleeves, keeping her signature wavy tresses in check.

Ciara: The singer wore a black-embroidered tulle and chiffon panelled gown from Tadashi Shoji’s Spring 2015 collection. It’s quite a different look for Ciara – one that has worked better than her last few outings, but one which doesn’t see her back to her best.

Poppy Delevingne In Valentino – Screening Of The new Annabel’s Docu Film ‘A String Of Naked Lightbulbs’

Poppy Delevingne In Valentino - Screening Of The new Annabel's Docu Film 'A String Of Naked Lightbulbs'

Poppy Delevingne attended the screening of the new Annabel’s docu film, ‘A String Of Naked Lightbulbs’, held at Curzon Cinema Mayfair on Tuesday (October 28) in London, England.

Usually opting for Pucci or Chanel in vibrant, often multi-coloured hues, the socialite opted for a black Valentino Pre-Fall 2014 mini dress on this occasion.

Her streamlined shift dress brings back the ’60s silhouette with a romantically feminine edge, plus I love its sartorial finishing – namely, its PVC-trimmed ruffles and cuffs.

Pains me to admit but the white pumps do a great job of elevating the look in lieu of any accessories or makeup.

Nicoletta Romanoff In Valentino – Rome Film Festival People’s Choice Awards Ceremony

Nicoletta Romanoff In Valentino - Rome Film Festival People's Choice Awards Ceremony

Nicoletta Romanoff attended a ceremony for the People’s Choice Awards during the 9th Rome Film Festival on Saturday (October 25) in Rome, Italy.

I was delighted to see the actress wear one of my favourite pieces from the Valentino Resort 2015 collection.

The romantic folkloric long-sleeved tulle gown decorated with colourful embroidery is such an artful creation, one that should be held up as an icon of luxury and the epitome of feminine glamour.

Yes, I had it earmarked for Florence Welch, but Nicoletta more than does it justice, even though I do wish her hair was worn back.
