Amber Heard In Valentino – ‘Sorry Angel (Plaire, Aimer Et Courir Vite)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Amber Heard was blooming on the red carpet for the ‘Sorry Angel (Plaire, Aimer Et Courir Vite)’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 10), which she shared with Nieves Alvarez and Lupita Nyong’o.

The’ Friday Night Lights’ star looked sensational wearing a Valentino ball gown featuring the brands rich floral print exploration for the Fall 2018 season.

This gown is made for Cannes, there is no question about that with its drama and colourful appeal, yet I feel some might question the bodice.

It does look a bit loose in some of the pictures, but I still feel Amber carries the look off really well.

A sweeping updo, ruby stone drop earrings and pearl teardrops were an interesting feature of her look.

Bee Shaffer In Valentino Couture & Anna Wintour In Chanel Couture – 2018 Met Gala

Not to be missed were Anna Wintour and daughter Bee Shaffer at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday night (May 7) in New York City.

Bee Shaffer: She was a breathtaking vision in Valentino Spring 2018 Couture. Between the designer’s signature colour and the oversized scalloped hem, it oozed romance. The asymmetrical neckline ruffle tied in a draping bow added more magic. Not forgetting about the theme, the colour and clutch nodded to it.

Anna Wintour: As co-host, the editor was sure to embrace the theme in a diaphanous Chanel Spring 2018 Couture dress. Some might be surprised to see she opted for a modified style rather than a totally custom piece. The dress already had the feel of the theme but she further enhanced it with the addition of the short sleeves, by extending the skirt and finishing with the rosary. It was graceful and elegant.

Cynthia Erivo In Valentino – 2018 Met Gala

While Cynthia Erivo certainly made an impression at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City, it was likely something you didn’t see immediately that was one of the most thematic—and slightly irreverent—elements of her look.

Sure, this custom Valentino cutout gown in royal aubergine velvet was nothing short of provocatively regal.

And, her bejeweled-crown brows and nose ring only pushed the decoratively holy boundaries further.

But, it was her manicure that made the most waves. On her long two-inch talons was a minauturized rendition of the Sistine Chapel’s iconic ‘Creation of Adam’ that featured two black women.

Frances McDormand In Valentino Couture – 2018 Met Gala

I foresee a number of people mistaking Frances McDormand for Sia at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 7) in New York City.

The ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ actress made quite the avant-garde statement at her first Costume Institute Gala in Valentino Spring 2018 Couture.

While the theme might not be as obvious, I’m sure many will not mind as they are swept away in the drama of the ensemble and her posing.

With every move, I’m waiting to get a good glimpse of the layers of chartreuse underneath.

Anne Hathaway In Valentino Couture – 2018 Met Gala

In iconic Valentino red, Anne Hathaway made for a striking statement at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

It’s been a few years since the ‘Ocean’s 8’ actress has been at the gala, and she presented a ravishing re-entrance in this Valentino Spring 2018 Couture ruffled ballgown.

With the starburst halo-crown to complete the voluminous affair, she did look nothing short of divine.

Would you agree?

Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch Red Carpet Roundup

The Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City was positively brimming with beautiful fashion moments. Attendees joined Sarah PaulsonGreta GerwigZendaya Coleman and Elle Fanning.

Hailey Baldwin: The model showed a softer side in Ellery Fall 2018. This was a nice change of pace from her typical on-trend style. There’s a magical quality from the prismatic fabric, silver shoes and pared-back styling.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Grown-ish’ actress looked elegant in Prada. Given some of the high impact looks, I expected more drama from her. This still oozes sophistication, but I would have loved to see her in something head-turning like her Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ look.

Naomi Campbell: Combining a whimsical white coat with a sultry dress, she most definitely made a statement in Sukeina Fall 2018. The juxtaposition of the angelic frills with the sensual dress is dynamic and her unique interpretation of whimsy. Some might find it jarring, but it did succeed in commanding attention.

Helen Mirren In Valentino – 45th Chaplin Award Gala

Helen Mirren graced the red carpet at the 45th Chaplin Award Gala on Monday (April 30) in New York City.

Looking as regal as ever, the British actress wore a custom Valentino gown inspired by the Fall 2018 collection.

We’ve seen a lot of odd colour choices when it comes to clutches recently, but Helen’s Judith Leiber clutch was perfectly coordinated to her look along with her David Webb ruby earrings.

Chokers don’t always go down well with the majority, but here it perfectly rounds out the charming, storybook moment here.
