Lily James In Valentino - Changing Faces Gala Dinner

Lily James attended the Changing Faces Gala Dinner held at Bloomsbury Ballroom on Thursday (March 27) in London.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ star wore a Valentino Spring 2014 long-sleeved sheer black tulle gown featuring rich-red contrast embroidery throughout, with a defined waist sculpting the feminine shape.

Easy elegance is the best way to describe this look, with the actress opting for barely there makeup with her hair swept up into a chic updo, plus a selection of De Beers jewels and a black clutch accessorizing the look.

Rachel Zoe In Valentino - 'Living In Style Inspiration And Advice For Everyday Glamour' Book Launch Party

Rachel Zoe attended a party hosted at Tiffany & Co. in New York City to celebrate her new book ‘Living In Style: Inspiration and Advice for Everyday Glamour’ on Monday (March 24).

The stylish author’s decadent take on new noir was wrapped up in this Valentino Pre-Fall 2013 gown featuring a peek-a-boo black lace neckline and an immaculate pleated leather peplum bodice, which cascaded to a lace, leather and velvet tiered skirt.

Opting for the host’s jewels, she added a black Valentino studded leather clutch, pink lips and sleek straight tresses to complete her chic, modern look for the celebratory occasion.

Kiernan Shipka In Valentino Spring 2014 - ‘Divergent’ LA Premiere

Kiernan Shipka attended the ‘Divergent’ LA premiere held at the Regency Bruin Theatre on Tuesday (March 18) in Los Angeles, California alongside Kate Winslet and Shailene Woodley.

The young actress wore a Valentino Spring 2014 short-sleeved sheer tulle romper featuring an A-line waist, a pleated mini skirt overlay and colourful heavy embroidery throughout styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Tolka’ sandals.

Usually I’m always buying what Kiernan is selling, but I’m not a fan of this Gladiator-style look either on or off the runway.

Add in the aging hairstyle and it’s a rare miss for Kiernan.

Tilda Swinton In Valentino - Late Night with Seth Meyers

Tilda Swinton made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ to continue her promotional efforts for her movie ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’.

The Scottish actress has in a space of a week gone back and forth between menswear and womenswear; this time she opted for the latter, wearing a Valentino Fall 2014 monastic draped-cape chiffon gown styled with light-blue suede pumps.

I love how the colour brings out her green eyes, and the overall simplicity of the look.

You may remember that Cate Blanchett wore a similar look, enhancing it with a statement piece, but Tilda is all about keeping it simple, opting only for a selection of rings and bracelets to complete her look.

Tilda Swinton In Valentino Couture - 'Only Lovers Left Alive' LA Screening

Tilda Swinton continued her promotional efforts for her movie ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ by attending the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences screening of the film held at Bing Theater at LACMA on Monday (March 10) in Los Angeles, California.

Sporting a new haircut, the Scottish actress wore Valentino Couture once again, selecting a cream fringed top and wrap skirt from the Spring 2014 Couture collection.

Her typically oversized look, with a wood-like finish, was simply styled with the same Valentino ostrich pumps we saw on the runway, and a glossy lip colour.

I know some of you are not fond of Tilda’s red carpet style, so how does this look fare?

You may remember that Cate Blanchett wore a gown in the same fabric to the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Awards Ceremony last month.

Saoirse Ronan In Valentino - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Saoirse Ronan attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California.

The Irish actress wore a breath-taking Valentino Pre-Fall 2014 short sleeve tulle black gown enriched with colourful butterfly embroidery.

Saoirse tends to go for the more simple, no-fuss option, so I’m delighted to see her opt for such a bold gown which she carries off beautifully.

A simple bun, barely-there makeup and stud earrings provided the finishing touches.

I’m sure many had this in their wish list for Cate Blanchett or Keira Knightley, so does the young Irish actress pull this off for you?
