Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party

Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party

A crush of chic beauties and models of the moment made for quite the spectacular showing at the Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party on Friday (October 3) in Paris, France.

Giovanna Battaglia: Everything was coming up roses, in rather dramatic fashion, for Giovanna who left no petal unturned in this Alexander McQueen Fall 2015 red rose organza and lace ruffle dress worn with a lace bra and black lace embroidered boots. I kind of wish that lace collar piece was missing in action.

Kendall Jenner
: The model went the sophisticatedly chic route in an Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2015 Couture black velvet bustier gown constructed with a touch of youthful charm in the large collection of ruffle roses that dotted the hem of the dress. The finish of a ruby lip brought even more va-voom spirit.

Zoe Kravitz: Adding more rose-laced, flower-power to the proceedings, she rocked the Balenciaga Spring 2016 dress that she modeled during the label’s runway show paired with Balenciaga matching mules and complementary jewels. This is a more delicate side to Zoe’s style, but the full-on sheer story and high-waisted briefs has me fatigued on this occasion.

Kate Winslet In Valentino – ‘Steve Jobs’ New York Film Festival Premiere

Kate Winslet In Valentino - 'Steve Jobs' New York Film Festival Premiere

Kate Winslet attended the ‘Steve Jobs’ New York Film Festival premiere at Alice Tully Hall on Saturday (October 3) in New York City.

The British actress is known for her love of fitted silhouettes, so those bored of that style will be delighted she opted for this fit and flare dress by Valentino.

Personally, I dislike this look – immensely – as the style feels too juvenile for Kate.

I will take another fitted Stella McCartney dress over this any day.

Kate Mara In Valentino – ‘The Martian’ New York Film Festival Premiere

Kate Mara In Valentino - 'The Martian’ New York Film Festival Premiere

Kate attended the 2015 New York Film Festival premiere of ‘The Martian’ held at the Alice Tully Hall on Sunday (September 27) in New York City.

The actress returned to familiar territory wearing a galactic-print Valentino Pre-Fall 2015 fit-and-flare dress which adopts sweet youthfulness.

While many of you didn’t like her Dior Couture outing, I did appreciate the step outside her comfort-zone. This is too much like groundhog day to me.

Kristen Wiig In Valentino – ‘The Martian’ London Premiere

Kristen Wiig In Valentino - 'The Martian' London Premiere

Kristen Wiig attended ‘ The Martian’ premiere at Odeon Leicester Square this evening (September 24) in London, England alongside Kate Mara.

My first reaction to this Valentino Resort 2016 look was, “did Kate and Kristen mix up their suitcases”?

I say that because this is more like a Kate Mara dress than anyone else, but thankfully she didn’t go down that predictable road tonight.

Going against the gown grain, Kristen kept is short and sweet – some might say a little too sweet n’ twee -wearing this sheer embroidered mini.

I personally love the look. It’s fun, uncomplicated and she lets the dress do the talking.

Anne Hathaway In Valentino – ‘The Intern’ New York Screening

Anne Hathaway In Valentino - 'The Intern' New York Screening

Anne Hathaway attended a screening of ‘The Intern’ on Tuesday (September 22) in New York City.

If you thought things couldn’t get much worse than her Rodarte premiere look, well, feast your eyes on this Valentino Resort 2016 ensemble.

It’s like someone threw a bunch a fabric in her direction and they just stuck.

How anyone in her camp thought this was a good idea is beyond me because nothing works or makes sense. I just don’t get it.

Move over Sienna Miller, we have a new WDOTD.

‘The Final Girls’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

'The Final Girls' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Malin Akerman, Taissa Farmiga and Nina Dobrev attended the ‘Final Girls’ photocall during the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival at the Ryerson Theatre on Saturday (September 19) in Toronto, Canada.

Malin Akerman: I know what you’re thinking. This Valentino Spring 2015 gown is mighty dressy for a photocall. For me, that’s the least of Malin’s problems. Not only has it been worn three times before (Shailene Woodley, Fan Bingbing and Olivia Palermo), but the top half is incredibly unflattering.

Taissa Farmiga: The young starlet fared much better in her vivid girlie-chic Dolce & Gabbana macramé-lace pencil dress, even though her shoes were a snooze.

Nina Dobrev: Going against the grain, the actress wore a LBD courtesy of Versace. Translating black, this Fall 2015 green dress incorporates yellow Greek detail accents and cut out detailing for attention-grabbing effect. The look was styled with an Oroton ‘Frieze’ clutch and navy Alexa Wagner sandals.

Do you have a favourite? Or are you too busy thinking about the fact that these ladies look like they’re going to three different events?

Nicole Kidman In Valentino & Mugler – OMEGA ‘Her Time’ Exhibition Opening & Gala

Nicole Kidman In Valentino & Mugler - OMEGA 'Her Time' Exhibition Opening & Gala

Nicole Kidman attended both the OMEGA ‘Her Time’ Exhibition opening and gala dinner on Wednesday (September 16) in Milan, Italy.

Exhibition Opening: Nicole easily meets the highest standards of modern refinement in this Valentino Fall 2015 dress. I love the heighten sensory appeal thanks to the embroidered detailing, which isn’t totally lost due to the lining. Further charm was imbued by the ultra feminine wavy ‘do. The look was of course styled with an OMEGA timepiece and Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Quantum’ pumps.

Gala Dinner: That same evening, Nicole Drifting down a darkly romantic path wearing a Mulger Fall 2015 long black sequin embroidered halter gown which she styled with Harry Winston jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. As always, this is oozing with movie star glamour.

She leaves me in awe with both looks.
