‘A Wrinkle in Time’ London Premiere

The European premiere of ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ on Tuesday (March 13) in London saw a trio of other ladies on the red carpet in addition to the film’s stars, Reese Witherspoon, Storm Reid, and Mindy Kaling.

Ava DuVernay: The film’s director dressed the part in a Prada ankle-length gown with a mini train and articulated shoulders that was pure magic simply by virtue of its cornflower-blue colour. I love the delicate yet effective addition of the embellished belt with a brocade clutch, silver pumps, and a dynamite red lip to round out the look. This was such a lovely showing, from top to toe, for Ava.

Oprah Winfrey: Wearing a look that was elegantly within her wheelhouse, Oprah donned a lightly embellished blouse, obi-style belt, and floor-sweeping Brunello Cucinelli Spring 2018 skirt that was her version of stylized glamour, and the pure effortlessness of it all is what really translated so strongly.

Kathryn Newton: The young starlet wore a darling, ruffled Valentino dress. While the magenta boots perhaps introduced an element of quirky whimsy to the look, I found them to be too strong of a competitor with the frock. I would have preferred to see it stand alone on its own chic merits.

Ava Phillippe In Valentino – ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ London Premiere

Ava Phillippe supported her mother Reese Witherspoon on the red carpet in London this evening (March 13) for the European premiere of ‘A Wrinkle In Time’.

I couldn’t think of a better way to channel youthful style than this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 dress, which boasts red scattered hearts.

Much like her mother, Ava’s style isn’t about being daring – even though she is sporting a nose-ring.

She has a distinct feminine aesthetic, and it’s working beautifully for her.

A charming finish was had with Stella Luna shoes and William & Son jewels.

Fan Bingbing In Valentino, Zhang Shuai & Thom Browne – Fan Beauty Launch, Eyewear Promotion & HKSC’s 30th Anniversary Ceremony

Fan Bingbing has recently been making the rounds in China, showcasing her true range of style.

Fan Beauty Event: I love how this Valentino Spring 2018 polka dot dress dress spoke to Fan’s girlish side. The babydoll frock’s candy-land of dots was obviously selected to perfectly coordinate with her bubblegum-pink surroundings—right down to her metallic-pink pumps (no platforms in sight!) for a sassy punch.

Kristin Scott Thomas In Valentino – ‘Tomb Raider’ London Premiere

Kristin Scott Thomas brought some drama to the red carpet at the ‘Tomb Raider’ London premiere on Tuesday (March 6), joining Alicia Vikander.

The actress got swept away in a long-sleeved Valentino gown, which despite its soft, full shape, had such presence on the red carpet.

There was a regal air to the style with the high neck and sheer sleeve panels. With the inky fabric, it was a look that was very much in her wheelhouse.

A statement cuff and red lipstick were grand finishes to the sophisticated dress.

Paris Jackson In Valentino – ‘Gringo’ LA Premiere

The question that has been on everyone’s lips is, “what does Paris Jackson do?”

Well, you finally have your answer, as Michael Jackson’s daughter makes her film debut in ‘Gringo’ alongside Charlize Theron and David Oyelowo, who she joined on the red carpet last night (March 6) for the world premiere.

After she channelled her inner Tinker Bell in Atelier Versace at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, the mood veered on the right side of gothic in Valentino.

Accented with the embellished serpent, which hails from the Pre-Fall 2018 collection, it seems like we’re yet to successfully pigeon-hole her style, as she travels between boho, urban street wear, to goth.

Either way, she’s clearly having fun with it.

Kate Mara In Valentino – Grand Marnier Campaign Launch

While Kate Bosworth was going for something a little more experimental, Kate Mara stayed with tried-and-true for the Grand Marnier’s new campaign launch on Tuesday (March 6) in New York City.

You could say this black Valentino Spring 2018 sits firmly within Kate’s comfort-zone, however, this dress is realized with a sporty profile due to the cut-outs and mesh bodice.

I’m sure Maria Shavapova is kicking herself that she didn’t pick this one up first.

Kate’s styling was very simple with slick back hair and a selection of subtle jewels plus a pair of silvery pumps for added interest.
