Vanity Fair Party 2015 Tribeca Film Festival Party

Vanity Fair Party 2015 Tribeca Film Festival Party

A crush of lovelies attended the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival’s ‘Vanity Fair’ party at the State Supreme Courthouse in New York City on Tuesday (April 14). Here, a roundup of their looks.

Ivanka Trump: Adding a sexy spin to her sophisticated style, Ivanka wore a David Koma Spring 2015 asymmetrical frock with side cutouts. Despite the statement dress, I cannot direct my gaze away from that massive silver clutch, which was much too big for this otherwise sleek, sultry look.

Lindsay Ellingson: The model gave this Valentino Fall 2013 dress with china-blue embroidery its fourth appearance, as it has previously been worn by Lea Seydoux, Charlotte Ronson, and Angelababy. Yet she wears it so well, I still cannot help but be charmed by her effortless interpretation of the precious-chic dress, styled with matching off-white pumps, a ponytail and red lip.

Joan Smalls: Oozing seductive appeal, the model channeled her inner femme fatale in a leather-look, body-con House of CB dress, sliced through with peekaboo cutouts. A rouge lip and long straight locks completed the effect.

2015 amfAR Inspiration Gala Sao Paulo

2015 amfAR Inspiration Gala Sao Paulo

The 5th Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala took place at the home of Dinho Diniz on Friday (April 10) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Naomi Campbell: As she did last year, Naomi wore a Givenchy Couture show-stopping piece. Decked out in feathers and red paillettes, this look is classic Naomi; bold and sexy while maintaining high-fashion allure. The look was accessorized with Harry Winston jewels.

Kate Moss: The supermodel, who co-chaired this event with Naomi, also wore a Givenchy gown. Hers was a beige chiffon and lace Pre-Fall 2015 number with tonal pailettes, styled with a rose-gold Givenchy clutch and Harry Winston jewels. Many words came to mind upon seeing the Great Kate in this dress, but the first one was no. This is quite unflattering. I’m not a fan of the bodice and I’m tempted to say the colour ain’t working, but that could just be because I’m so used to seeing her in all black.

Kylie Minogue: Following her performing at the event, Kylie was spotted wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2015 hybrid dress. While I love the artistic nature of this piece, I don’t think it translates too well on Kylie. Someone with the sartorial style of Dita von Teese, or the statuesque presence of Karolina Kurkova would’ve sold this to me.

Lily James In Valentino – ‘Cinderella’ Tokyo Press Conference

Lily James In Valentino - 'Cinderella' Tokyo Press Conference

Lily James headed East for the press conference of ‘Cinderella’ at The Ritz Carlton Tokyo today (April 7) in Japan.

The British actress went intergalactic wearing a mod mini from Valentino’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection, featuring bright yellow moons and delicately whimsical silver and gold stars.

The majority of Lily’s looks have either been Princess themed or lined with Disney references.

At first I didn’t think either applied here, but then I linked the star print to the “When You Wish Upon A Star” song which featured in Disney’s ‘Pinocchio’, which I thought was very clever.

There were no glass slippers here, just a pair of gold and nude ankle strap pumps which complement the dégradé effect of her mini dress.

With the premiere expected later today, I’m confident we will see the puffiest dress yet.

Jordana Brewster In Valentino – ‘Furious 7′ LA Premiere

Jordana Brewster In Valentino - ‘Furious 7′ LA Premiere

Jordana Brewster attended the LA premiere ‘Furious 7′ at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on Wednesday (April 1) in Hollywood, California.

She excelled on this red carpet, wearing a Valentino Spring 2015 plunging halter tulle pale-grey gown, which intelligently balances elegance and whimsy while incorporating romantic sensibilities.

Some might be thrown by the sheer skirt, but I love how this enhances the lighter than air appeal of this look.

Styling was once again on point, with a mint green clutch and nude Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals providing the finishing touches.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup 31 March

This past weekend’s iHeartRadio Music Awards and Jameson Empire Awards brought out a range of ensembles from the boys. Here, a look at their entrances.

Nick Jonas: Before performing ‘Chains’ at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (March 29), the singer hit the red carpet in a Valentino Fall 2015 suit. There’s no denying he looked sharp, even if the festive red plaid reminded me of the fall season rather than spring. No matter, suave style is always in season.

Henry Cavill: The actor paired that beard with a slick three-piece Tom Ford gray suit, white dress shirt and thick black tie at the Jameson Empire Awards at London’s Grosvenor House on Sunday (March 29). It was a solid look, with the small addition of the pocket square adding a nice final touch.

Justin Timberlake: As winner of the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, the entertainer stood out in a bright blue Versace suit paired with a black patterned Versace dress shirt with Medusa gold detailing and black Versace dress shoes. I love seeing this electric shade on the red carpet; I just wish his pants were better tailored—and less crumpled.
