Serena Williams In Valentino – Royal Wedding Reception

There was another case of deja vu at the royal wedding reception for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (the Prince and Princess of Sussex) on Saturday (May 19).

Following Serena Williams’ Atelier Versace look, the tennis star changed into a Valentino Fall 2018 gown which Amber Heard had worn nine days earlier at Cannes Film Festival.

The difference is: the bodice.

This should delight the majority of you who has a huge grievance with the fit of Amber’s bodice.

While I didn’t mind Amber’s look, there is no denying it’s much improved with the square neck velvet bodice.

Kate Mara & Jamie Bell In Valentino – ‘Pose’ New York Premiere

Jamie Bell and Kate Mara were joined at the hip for the premiere of ‘Pose’ held at Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday (May 17) in New York City.

Jamie Bell: Dressed in a chocolate Valentino suit, he managed to keep a cool expression by opting to go tie-less.

Kate Mara: It would seem that her previous look felt too deja vu to you. So Kate kinda switched things up in this raspberry Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 dress with the clean, minimalist lines creating a cape-like shape. I like how the Valentino lipstick print clutch adds a fun element to the look.

Models @ amfAR Gala Cannes 2018

With the limited showing of actresses – Kristen Stewart, Laura Harrier and Coco Konig – at the amfAR Cannes Gala this year, it was left to the models to provide the glamour.

Maria Borges: It’s been so great to see Roberto Cavalli back on the red carpet at Cannes. Maria was one of many models to don a look from the Couture collection this year. This platinum piece dripping with citrine micro-crystals and draped fringes was as dazzling as she was radiant.

Karolina Kurkova: Always a cut above, the model looked very elegant and sexy in her Miu Miu column dress which she perfectly accessorized with Miu Miu shoes and drop diamond earrings to complement the Swarovski crystal bow.

Sara Sampaio: Even the models outstretch leg couldn’t upstage the dazzling sheen of her pleated lame Elie Saab Resort 2018 blue gown.

Elizabeth Debicki In Valentino Haute Couture – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Elizabeth Debicki joined Sonam Kapoor and Thandie Newton for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ this evening (May 15).

The first thing I noted when I saw Elizabeth in this Valentino Spring 2018 Haute Couture floral gown, was how this is a new silhouette for her.

With her gorgeous statuesque frame, she tends to stick to more slender gowns, much like her Miu Miu look from the last night.

Are you enjoying this rare bohemian romantic moment from Elizabeth as much as I am?

Thandie Newton In Valentino – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Thandie Newton captured the breezy spirit of the Cannes Film Festival at the ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ photocall on Tuesday (May 15).

The majority were delighted by her Richard Quinn floral confection at the Virgin TV BAFTA Television Awards and I’m hoping this Valentino Fall 2018 look is as well received.

It’s the sort of ensemble that demonstrates how the daywear at the festival can be just as striking as the dramatic evening gowns.

With its vivid print and soft shapes, it has a carefree glamorous sentiment and her styling played perfectly into it.

Zazie Beetz In Valentino – ‘Deadpool 2’ New York Screening

If we’ve learnt anything about Zazie Beetz’s style in recent times, it’s that the safe option, isn’t an option.

The ‘Deadpool 2’ star joined co-star Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively on the red carpet for the New York screening on Monday (May 14), wearing Valentino.

These glorious Fall 2018 floral gowns have been seen everywhere from Guernsey, Germany, New York to twice at Cannes, yet I’m still charmed by the floral explosion.

Flowers may be the symbol of romance, but I love how the blocks of sequins enhance my love for this look.

Was the black cherry lip too dark?

Not for me. It adds her signature quirk and playful vibe that felt oh-so right.
